The Uprising of The Vics & A small explanation of the Society
For thousands of centuries the vampires had lived in unity. The appointment of the council was a blessing to equalizing a country that had always been at war. It worked, for a time, but such fragile alliances can only see a temporary appointment. The council kept a type of peace for so long, but it was only inevitable that one of the factions would come to see their faction elevated, taking the spot of the ruler where previously there had been equals. The Vics, classical vampires in every meaning had long held ambition. They despised sitting equal with all but The Baris viewing the others as lesser, cretins trying to blend in among the elite. This thought held strongest with the man the Vics considered to be a leader; Grey Allaric.
Grey was a man who cared little for the alliance. He was always a man with his sights on more. He wished greatly to rule, to place the lowers in their rightful places. He held no belief that the society they lived in was righteous or correct. People were meant to be led and that was the true state of it all. He worked behind the scenes to amass the power & resources to install The Vics into their proper seat of power. No one suspected a thing, for Grey’s cunning and wit were far great. He was not one to be defeated in tests of intelligence. He forged alliances, learned secrets. He gained the allegiances of those who he knew he could control and had the others killed.
Of course it takes a bit more than simple trickery to change a system. After over 400 years on planning and maneuvering Grey made the ultimate move. Amassing an army, Grey sent the entire kingdom into the throes of a vast war. This war would be to truly change the system they lived in. Their nation was set ablaze both inside and out, with The Vics showing the other clans that not only were they more prepared for conflict, but that they owned the shadows making it nearly impossible for anyone to truly counter them. They had even come to create the Krighund a force of assassin who carried out their orders without question, an institution that remains. The war was hard fought with the council, but eventually they were forced to bow to Grey and his forces. The Vics were victorious. The nation would forever change.
Grey installed a throne, making The Vics the center of everything. Those who stood with the Vics were allowed to live somewhat comfortably, but those who were against them found their comfortable lives changed forever. They were all given separate parts of the kingdom, but all the clans bowed to the aristocratic Vics. Some were given greater seat, serving on a council that oversaw the mass control of the kingdom from behind an unceasing curtain.
The Vics were practically solidified in their position during the war of the ancients, showing themselves to not only be capable of doing what it takes to win when it came to the fallen, but even to each other. With Grey having the remains of the vampire clan who were used to create the fallen complete & utterly annihilated. Grey himself was not safe from his own people as he was eventually assassinated by one of his own advisors, beginning a tried and true trend of cruel & applied political conflict within their own class. This has been the truth of the kingdom for many an era even as the Fallen War came to its end and it looks to remain that way...forevermore.

Vampiric Clans {The Vics} (English) - Ruling class - As ruthless as they come, the Vics are the leaders of Thentis and they hold no qualms of how they got there. Alluring, manipulative, and even childish, this race is on top for a reason. They live in the center of the country, surrounded on all sides by the lesser races, and hold their position with pride. {The Jiang} (Chinese) - Sequestered to the Easternmost side of the country not on good terms with the Vics, but not as harshly treated as some of the other races. The reason behind this is because of their betrayal of the new system and to Carmine. They rose up against Carmine's forces, and to her new empire, and was beaten down accordingly. Though they hold a large portion of the inner trade slave of the country, the Jiang are not looked favorably by Carmine or her allies, and are snakes in the grass known to others. {The Auf} (German) - The third race that lives alongside the Vics and the Baris, the Auf do not live as comfortably as their brethren, but they do still live better than those outside of the territory. They were another force along with the Baris and the Krighund that followed Carmine in the overthrow of the kingdom, though they began a bit too late. Though because of their loyalty, even if it took them a moment to come to their senses, they do not hold such positions as the Baris, but they are still looked favorably upon by Carmine and her family. {The Sith} (Scottish) - Treated the most brutal of all the other races, the Sith have been pushed to the edges of the territory to the west. They are the harvesters for the vampires and their “job” is the most hazardous. They are also the only vampires that can sow agriculture for the Vics. While they did not stand up to the Vics as dastardly as the Jiang did, the Sith did much worse: they did not acknowledge Carmine's power. This was unfortunate and because of their silence, the Queen sent her family into their home to slaughter all those there. Only a few thousand were left alive, and now they bend at the knee every day to farm and die for the Vics. {The Teteto} (Mexican) - Sequestered to the Eastern side of the country along with the Jiang. They do not like each other much, and territory disputes and raids happen often among the smaller settlements. This deep distaste, and possible hatred, of the Jiang stem from the coup. The Jiang are smooth talkers, and as such they twisted the minds of the Teteto to fight with them. Only half listened however, and that half was slaughtered along with a portion of the Jiang. Because of their cowardice, and the loyalty of a few of the Teteto, Carmine has them under her heel and they live out their life as guards for the empire, and also blacksmiths for the country. {The Baris} (Greek) - The firstmost race alongside the Vics, the Baris live like comfortable children among the kingdom. This is because of their devotion to the leading lady Carmine, and her will to reign over the kingdom. By enlisting themselves with the coup d'état, and among those of the Krighund, they did not care to hide their faces as they murdered all of the king's supporters and thus has earned them their place alongside Carmine and her empire {The Upyr} (Russian) - Close to the clergyman of the vampires, the Upyr are religious fanatics at best and crusade seekers at worst. They are never really spoken of among the kingdom other than to poke fun, though they still hold some weight among the Shadow Council and thus are taken seriously enough. It was Carmine that sent them on their holy quest, and as such they are most loyal to her though not her family persay. At one point they did fight with her, something that was quickly proven wrong, and she used her "divine powers" to set them on the path of holiness. {The Peri} (Indian) - The best relations with the Vics outside of the kingdom is bar none the Peri. Some of the best minds of the generation are derived from this race, and they are often on diplomatic missions to the kingdom. While they did not physically help the coup, the Peri did provide information to Carmine that was invaluable to her cause. This has gained them the renown they deserve, but also the ability to live in an isolated, yet cozy disposition. {The Adze} (African) - Harmless fireflies, the Adze live in the Southernmost part of the country. While every race makes up the Shadow Council is some way, they are the most trusted as they are the ones that make up a large part of the Krighund. They are not hated by many, but also not respected outside of their work in the assassin force, and though they do make up such a large portion of the Krighund, their city is one of benign indifference.

Magic System: Blood-Ritual / Blood Sacrifice
Vampires make use of their most important asset to create horrid effects which assault their enemy. Blood is the thing by which every vampire lives & a magnificent tool. It is something that no one race has learned how to control making it truly unique amongst them, but this tool comes with a price. Vampires only have so much blood they can use without being constantly fed, or without external usability. This results in a finite source of power that will either save a vampire, or kill them if improperly used. A vampire is often unique in that they can make their abilities to fit them & them alone, but their limited blood pools & often knowledge prevents them from going out of their depth.
Blood Pools: Novice: 100 BP Intermediate: 200 Bp Expert: 500 Bp Master: 2000 Bp Ascendants: [Suppressed] 6000 BP / [Unleashed] 10000 BP
Ability Use: E Rank Abilities = 10Bp D Rank Abilities = 20Bp C Rank Abilities = 30Bp B Rank Abilities = 50Bp A Rank Abilities = 100Bp S Rank Abilities = 200Bp X Rank Abilities = 1000Bp
Rank Allowances: Novice: Learn E Rank Abilities - 4 D Rank Abilities - 2 C Rank Abilities Intermediate: Learn E - D Rank Abilities - 6 C Rank Abilities - 2 B Rank Abilities Expert: Learn E - C Rank Abilities - 10 B Rank Abilities - 2 A Rank Abilities Master: Learn E - A Rank abilities - 5 S Rank Abilities - 1 X Rank Ability Ascendants: Learn all Abilities. No limit.
Always a price: Blood is highly important for a vampire. It is tied to their strength thus the more they use the weaker they are. A vampire however, cannot simply recharge to quickly after use of their abilities so there is no recharging in the middle of battle.
100% = Full Power
50 % = All abilities are halved
20% = Starving
10% = Dying & Becoming Feral
0% = Death unless fed within an hour

Blood-Rituals: Blood Rituals are a lengthy way to cast magic. They require a vampire to set up & prepare their spells either before or during the fight, though in return for the length & amount of blood sacrificed the spells given by Blood Rituals can literally turn the tide of an entire battle with ease by changing the field or creating devastating effects in ways sacrifice can not. They can change entire water sources into blood, or even create powerful minions. While these spells can effect the self, they are often much grander in terms of abilities, but they often carry penalties as well. This is the oldest style of magic the vampires know and it is quite ancient to magic in and of itself with the method being impossible for even mages to replicate. Often times the knowledge behind the rituals is shared or written so some people bear the same spells but one who has mastered the rituals is a truly dangerous individual. Examples (Each Rank)E Rank Ability Name: Red Vine Setup time: 2 posts Rank: E Effect: When the ritual is complete, red vines will emerge from the ground to snap & grab at a target. The vines are very brittle & weak but provide a small distraction for a getaway. Duration: 2 posts Blood Use: 10bp D Rank Abilities Name: Puddle of Blood Setup time: 3 posts Rank: D Effect: Creates a puddle of blood that when stepped into will violently unleash sanguine tendrils to wrap around a target & try to pull them in. It doesn’t take a lot of resistance to break free & escape however. Duration: 4 posts Blood Use: 20 Pts C Rank Ability Name: Twisting Fog Setup time: 4 posts Rank: C Effect: When the ritual is officially cast a deadly red fog will begin to spread out over the area outlined by a line of blood. This fog is incredibly dark to anyone but the vampire who cast it & muddies the senses with the smell of blood, the sound of screams, and a heavy atmosphere. It is often so heavy that not even a dragons is capable of making out the shape of a vampire within. Duration: 5 posts Blood Use: 30 Pts B Rank Abilities Name: Rain of Blood Setup time: 6 posts Rank: B Effect: When cast will begin to cause a red substance (Not real blood) to fall from the skies. This red substance is very sticky and tends to cause those covered in it to become stuck and find difficulty in moving. It can even blind them. It effects a 10ft radius, though vampires are immune. Duration: 6 posts Blood Use: 50 Pts A Rank Abilities Name: Tainted Blood Setup time: 8 posts Rank: A Effect: When cast will cause blood to seep into the round. However a red mist will eventually rise, but this mist is poisonous and those who breath it in will begin to feel an intense burning sensation from the inside out that slowly grows more & more intense until a person can no longer take it & tries to kill themselves to stop it or collapses. It works over a 30ft radius Duration: 5 posts Blood Use: 100 Pts S Rank Abilities Name: Rain of Hell Setup time: 10 posts Rank: S Effect: When cast will cause a red substance to coalesce in the clouds. Eventually they will fall, but everything that falls is as sharp and deadly as a steel spear. They fall over a 40ft radius & while they can be blocked or dodged they are as numerous as a light rain shower. Duration: 1 posts Blood Use: 500 Pts X Rank Abilities Name: World Below Setup time: 20 Posts Rank: X Effect: A highly powerful spell, when it is cast it submerges over 100ft will suddenly grow to become an ocean of blood which all but a vampire will sink into. However, the water is hostile & attacks anyone within it tryin to drown them or tearing open previous wounds to make them worse. It can be resisted, but even an ancient dragon would suffer in doing so. Duration: 3 posts Blood Use: 1000 Pts Blood-Sacrifice: Blood Sacrifices are a much smaller & weaker way of utilizing the blood. The spells cast with sacrifices are much faster, but easily far weaker than rituals. They are more easily used in battle, but are not likely to change the tide of battle. Often times it is more supplementary, a distraction or surprise for the enemy but nothing quite devastating. While those who train in this all their lives are capable of many great things, the spells are never as dangerous as rituals are. Often times these spells are projectiles but their use is often more imaginative as they come from the same principles as blood shaping. These can be used to add to the body without consequence, but even this pales in comparison to the modifications given by the rituals. Its an old system mostly favored by those who are not patient or methodical. Or Assassins. Examples (Each Rank) E Rank Ability Name: Red Bullet Rank: E Effect: Shoots a blunt red bullet strong enough to dent bronze. It only travels in a straight line of 5 ft. Blood Use: 10bp D Rank Abilities Name: Hail of Red Rank: D Effect: Shoots forth a great number of Red Bullets (50 bullets) though they do not have more strength than the red bullet does. Blood Use: 20 Pts C Rank Ability Name: Red Blade Rank: C Effect: Able to fire forth a blade of blood strong enough to cut through stone. Blood Use: 30 Pts B Rank Abilities Name: Sanguine Spike Rank: B Effect: Able to fire forth a powerful spike of blood strong enough to punch clean through iron. Blood Use: 50 Pts A Rank Abilities Name: Claws of Blood Rank: A Effect: Able to create multiple cuttin waves of blood strong enough to cleave into steel. They travel at extreme speeds. Blood Use: 100 Pts S Rank Abilities Name: Blood Branches Rank: S Effect: Able to create hundreds upon hundreds of piercing tendrils that worm their way to weak spots, able to puncture even steel with little resistance. They even grow inside a person to further harm them. Blood Use: 500 Pts X Rank Abilities Name: Blood of Hades Rank: X Effect: The vampire's able to fire a single powerful bullet of blood that few things are able to stand against, however the blood worms its way into wounds causing them to become necrotic & burn almost like a rapid disease. This can be healed & reversed, but without aid it can fell even the mightiest of beasts in moments. Blood Use: 1000 Pts

Vampire Perks: Living Sense - Vampires can literally see the blood flow of a person making it easy to tell if they are alive or not & track them. Immortality - Vampires are immortal so long as they are sufficiently fed. Great Healing - Vampires heal extraordinarily fast, to the point where they can even get limbs back so long as they are submerged in blood for a few hours. Small Wounds heal totally, leaving little blemish. Large wounds take at least 6 posts to heal. Shaded Steps - Vampires are so fast that they appear as blurs to all but the greatest of trained eyes. Levitation - The ability to cause oneself/subjects/objects to hover in the air. Sub-power of Gliding and Flight. Blood Construction - Creating blood constructs and even using blood to create weapons that are as strong as iron. Generally these take 3bp to use, buts its a one time payment. Perfect Hunters - Vampires display increased smell, hearing, and reflexes on the level comparable to if not a little worse than certain Weres. This allows them to easy track & hunt a creature of almost any species. Silent Walk - Vampires make no sounds when they move, able to remain totally silent. Night Vision - Vampires can see in the darkness, almost like it was day. Vampire Disadvantages: The Sun- While it has been noted that some races of vampires were more resistant to the sun than others, it is common knowledge that the sun must be avoided at all costs. Delirium, motor function difficulty, and first and second degree burns will appear when a vampire is not in direct connection to the sun. However, if a vampire succumbs to the full rays of the sun, they will quickly burn and smolder. (Note that with sufficient garb and blood a vampire can survive in such conditions.) Cold Iron- Though they can make their blood as strong as such metal, cold iron must not be touched under any circumstances. If one were to touch the metal, harsh boils and blisters will appear on the skin that cannot be healed unless blood is ingested. Silver- Another material that vampires must stay away from, silver is quite harming. It can be used in chains to capture a vampire and keep them from moving, or using their physical ability such as speed or strength, and used within a weapon can counteract the healing process a vampire can will themselves through.

Ambrosia Ambrosia is a substance that only the vampires have learned to create.
It is a special substance made from a rare moon-grown plant that only grows in their area that contains a powerful agent. When ingested the agent causes a feeling of euphoria in a target, but also makes them open to suggestion. It reduces aggression & the targets ability to resist command by making them feel..relaxed & at home. It is highly effective & sweet to where even large creatures are made docile by ingesting even a bit of it or having it injected.
It is used to break thralls & shatter their minds while they go through the process of being mentally, spiritually, and physically turned to be the vampires totally. It doesn't work all the time however as some show acute resistance to it naturally, or at just hard to turn. An example is when this was used to try & make a certain cow into a slave. She drank the entire bottle, but she wasn't able to be controlled. It was a strange site, but often it lets the vampires know who might be too dangerous.
Not everyone is resistance however, & some are more easily susceptible to even just the smell. There are many ways to use it but the effectiveness varies. It is mostly used by Krighund operatives and again by those ruling vampires that require their thrall to be controlled fully by them.
