To the esteemed Lord Titanus,
It is always a pleasure to entertain another keen mind in a world too easily trapped in falling temperature and unfortunate news. I am pleased to hear that an opportunity to properly introduce myself approaches. I have long been fond of the arts and I have only heard rumors of the expert craftsmanship that has been evolving in your fair country. Perhaps I might bring my pocketbook so that I might take home one of these unique and new artifacts.
Perhaps this bachelor can also enjoy the peerage and the company of another confirmed bachelor. I look forward to exchanging a drink with you at such a time.
Fortunately, I am grateful to report that the lands of Xerseis are stable. Many of us have cloistered ourselves underground since the storm and rarely breach the surface unless there is something to be done. Nevertheless, I have been fortunate enough to be abroad and visiting the others, when in many other places, business simply cannot be done. I am also pleased to report that our forges burn long and well and our blacksmiths proudly work. As master overseeing the work, Ujo Kataar boasts that this chill might yield the best of our snow-forged blades yet. I look forward to their results also.
If it suits the count, I might bring one of these blades to show you the pride of my region's blacksmiths.
Ababva Ali, Lord Xerseis of Phoebos
