Hi, and welcome to the guild! Two things: In order to attend Hogwarts, Xiu must have been born in the UK, as Hogwarts only accepts students born within the United Kingdom. And for Huan to be a first year when Xiu is a seventh year, they should be 6 years apart, not 7. Please make the necessary edits and change the title to ~ Edited when you are done. BackGround
Coming from a majority Chinese decent with a few other nationalities mixed in a few generations ago. The Jiang Family lived in the same house for six generations (According to Jiang Yun before her death) until Jiang Cheng chose to move himself, his wife, and child to England. The Jiang family has never been a pureblood wizarding family.

CONFIDENCE Ever since she was little she has always been confident, when she began to show magical talent she got a major self esteem booster when her father started to pay her more attention, making her who she is today as a person that will tackle any problem with the confidence of a bull.
SKEPTICAL She has a good amount of skepticism within her, something that started to manifest after her parents died. Anything that doesn't sound like a good idea or when people she doesn't like talk to her out of the blue trigger her skepticism.
GOOD MANNERED Her parents raised her to treat others the way she wanted to be treated, and she wants to be treated politely, kindly, and nice, so she is good mannered toward others in hopes that her actions will be reciprocated.

EARLY CHILDHOOD Jiang Xiu was born in Eastern China, near the sea, her father was a dragon expert in both career and hobby and her mother was a stay at home mom and a muggleborn witch that didn't particularly like the world of magic so much. Her father attended Mahoutokoro, and her mother attended an unknown wizarding school in China.
Jiang Xiu lived her first seven years in China, where she showed her first act of magic, somehow changing a mouse that ran across the floor into a pinball. Her father was so proud of her but her mother was a little sad that Jiang Xiu showed magical ability. Her father wanted Jiang Xiu to go to the best wizarding school and after several months of debate he managed to persuade his wife to move to England.
At first Jiang Xiu's mother didn't seem to like the island, but she grew to love it, and it became a happy change. When Jiang Xiu was eight she was joined by a little brother name Jiang Huan.
Her father would manage to keep his work with dragons, aka following them and observing them in order to research them. One day he decided to take his wife on one of these adventures in an attempt to prove to her that despite her preference to not practice magic that Dragons were still very beautiful and majestic.... this backfired and they both died when Jiang Xiu was nine. Ever since then Jiang Xiu and her younger brother whom was two at the time, have been at Wool's Orphanage.
