The Old Code as it were and it's ideals are the very things Sev strives to be everyday. To uphold his position as Knight Commander, to honor his king, and serve the lands people. As all children dream of entering the Knighthood, for Sev it was more than just a dream. His persistence in standing up for what is fair and just earned him entrance into the Knights Academy.

✶Biography:
- From a young age Sev knew he wanted nothing more to be a Knight. The child of a blacksmith, the young Sev had plenty of time to learn the way of the sword, while attending to his duties helping his father. His mother died in childbirth, and being the only child, it was expected of him to carry on his father's legacy. While he did learn the craft, it was not what he wanted for himself.
Having the sense of Justice that is rare in most children, Sev had stood up against adversity in his earlier years. Childhood bullies came to fear him, mostly due to the fact that he would unleash his anger at them for treating others with ill intent. This had lead to the pinnacle moment in his life where he had savagely beaten a young man twice his size. One of the Guardsmen who witnessed the aftermath couldn't believe what had happened. It was with his vote that Sev had been given entry to the Knight's Academy with the promise that he would learn to reign in his Anger and use it in the proper way.
His father vehemently opposed his entrance to the Academy, which led to him sneaking out in the middle of the night and run away from home. Knowing that it would break his father's heart to do so, he swore that this would the first and only time that he would break his given word. He would honor the Old Code, and perhaps one day his father would come to understand his child's decision to take his fate into his own hands.
Life at the Academy had been difficult for him at first. It wasn't the schedule of rising early, nor the physical labors all Knights would endure during training. It was a sense of homesickness, not being able to see his friends, his father, or his old town. It would take him many months to get used to the life he had chosen. Eventually he found new friends who had the same drive and sense of honor, as well as new enemies within the same ranks as he. No matter where one goes it seemed there was always those who would prey upon the weak. This would lead to several reprimands from his Commander, due to 'insubordination'.
As time passed, Sevren would come to embody the Old Code and tempered his anger as the Knight who allowed for him to come to the Academy wished. Upon graduation he was given a contingent of men and sent back to his childhood home to keep the peace. It was then, the moment he had dreamed of, returning back to his home was here. Though things had not been as they were upon his departure. The town had suffered hard times over the years, crops had gone barren, traveling merchants quit coming to town to sell their wares, and most of all the blacksmith had died.
Needless to say, it was the hardest time in his life serving in his old home town. With nothing left to tie him there, he was finally able to cut the last string holding him back fully and completely dedicated himself to his childhood dream. Eventually he would work his way up the ranks over the years, and he would become Grand Knight, head of security over the Royal Family.

- In a world of gray, he lives as though it were black and white. While on the battlefield this is useful, kill or be killed, friend and foe. Off the field it takes him an extra amount of effort to view situations, to understand the ramifications of actions of others.
