p e r s o n a l i t y || Many choose to describe Sonia’s character as light and bouncy. She’s always up for something new. Although, she’s well aware of her limitations, namely her lack of offensive prowess, and so often drags others into her latest shenanigans so that they can make up for what she can’t do. Some call her a good motivator. Others simply label her as annoying. Regardless, she gets things done, for better or for worse.
She doesn’t seem like it, what with her often excited nature, but Sonia can be tricky when she wants to be. She’s dealt with living on the streets largely by her own for around a year and a half. There’s a lot of things she can’t do, but there’s a lot more that she can do. She knows everything from the basics, like don’t believe everything everyone says, to the more advanced stuff, like how to bluff her way out of trouble should it ever arise. As cute and innocent as Sonia appears, an appearance that actually isn’t some carefully calculated persona but a very real and genuine result of her usual eagerness, she isn’t half as innocent as most people expect her to be and is more than able to keep herself out of trouble.
Sonia is particularly good in keeping her mouth shut. Not literally, of course. She almost always feels the need to speak about whatever has her excited at the moment and to elaborate on that topic as much as possible. Getting her to shut-up isn’t impossible but it is a chore. Rather, she’s good at keeping her mouth shut in the figurative, never-tells-secrets way. Despite talking so much, she’s mastered the art of deception, whether it’s through impeccable lying or a smooth change in topic. Her talkative nature usually leaves most people with the impression that she’s very open about everything, often leading them to underestimate her ability to keep secrets and be sneaky. Despite her frequent glibness, Sonia has a good sense of what to tell and what to keep to herself.
b a c k g r o u n d || Like most other Dragon Slayers, Sonia is an orphan raised by the dragon of her corresponding element. However, unlike traditional dragon slayers, she still remembers her parents. At least, she remembers the foster parents that raised her before she was taken under the wing of Grandeeney. Sonia’s real parents are a mystery to her. She was left at the door of an orphanage when she was but a few days old and her foster parents adopted her within a month. Sonia’s first memories were of her foster parents raising her, and early on, she noticed that she didn’t look like her parents. In fact, compared to other kids and their parents, Sonia noticed that she and her parents looked really, really different. Of course she would. She was of some sort of East Asian origin when her parents were clearly of European descent. To this question, Sonia received a truthful answer and was told right out that she was adopted. From then on, Sonia grew up knowing she was adopted and it quickly came to be the most natural thing to her. She was raised in an environment where family was something made by the people in it rather than something predetermined by blood.
At the age of nine, Sonia lost both of her parents to an accident in the wilds, far away from any town. Sonia, herself, barely survived, and only lived because she had been found by the Sky Dragon, Grandeeney. After she recovered, she learned of her parent’s death. The shock hit the nine year old Sonia hard and it took her weeks to fully overcome it. During those weeks, Grandeeney raised her and found inside Sonia a talent for magic. When Sonia could finally face and accept the death of her mother and father, the dragon offered to continue raising her. Sonia accepted the offer without complaint. She could never think of replacing her parents, but Grandeeney had shown her much kindness when she was most in need. She felt like she could trust the dragon and maybe, one day, consider the dragon as a part of her family.
For the next several years, Sonia lived and learned under the guardianship of Grandeeney. From the mythical creature, she learned the lost magic of the Sky Dragon Slayer, and as it was her first time being taught magic so thoroughly, she did not realize just how special the magic was. Rather, Sonia considered almost every other type of magic more amazing than the Sky Dragon Slayer magic she learned from her dragon guardian. The way she saw it, the stuff she remembered seeing other mages do, like summoning weapons, looked many times cooler than her little healing and buffing tricks. However, even as she whined about learning boring things, Sonia learned diligently and quickly, taking the Grandeeney’s lessons seriously.
Through thick and thin, rain and shine, Sonia and Grandeeney lived together. The Sky Dragon helped to fill the hole Sonia’s loss of her parents left in her and under Grandeeney’s guardianship and tutelage, Sonia grew from a little girl into a childish lady. One day, Sonia felt that she was ready and that the time was just right. She approached her guardian of exactly seven years with her resolve to leave and return to the human world. After all, there was so much of the world she wanted to see. Grandeeney allowed this request and, after a few wise parting words, set Sonia off on her journey.
For about a year, Sonia has been wandering around the worlds. Her initial awkwardness around humans—living with nothing but a dragon for company for years would make anyone awkward around humans—has long since disappeared and she resides quite comfortably with them. Since re-entering society, Sonia has learned that her healing magic is special, but she still insists that it’s really not that amazing while brushing off any questions about how she obtained such magic.
While Sonia knows of no living blood relatives—she doesn’t care that she doesn’t know any, either—she does vaguely remember an uncle, her foster mother’s younger brother, from her foster parents. He was someone she had met during the important holidays, when the family would have a small reunion, and not much else. In fact, the uncle, Reginald Dodd, was the only relative outside of Sonia’s immediate family that came to the reunions. Sonia’s father had no siblings, her mother had only one little brother, Reginald, and the grandparents on both sides of the family had passed away early in the life of both parents.

______d e s c r i p t i o n || A type of Magic which grants the user various characteristics belonging to a Sky Dragon, allowing them to incorporate the element of air into their body. However, unlike other types of Dragon Slayer Magic, Sky Dragon Slayer Magic is geared more towards healing and support rather than offense. The healing power granted by it is extremely high, having been described as capable of healing wounds inflicted by a real dragon. Concretely, it was enough to almost completely cure most injuries it was used on so far, and to nullify the effects of powerful poisons, and is capable of restoring the body internally and externally including a patient's fatigue and body stress, something made more formidable by the fact that healing Magic is long-lost, and believed to be nonexistent anymore. However, employing such exclusive powers seems to be very tiring for the user, who can’t make use of them in consecutive reprises, nor can the Sky Dragon Slayer use their magic to heal and restore themselves. In addition to healing, Sky Dragon Slayer Magic can also grant support in battle, by boosting allies’ physical prowess. Despite healing and support being its main abilities, this form of Magic, like other types of Dragon Slayer Magic, is said to possess great destructive power, with its offensive spells taking the form of whirlwinds produced by the user.

- After a total of 10,000 EXP have been reached and the Dragon Slayer has become a B-rank, they may activate Dragon Force.
- Capable of eating external sources of air to either A. Restore manna equivalent to half of that spell's rank. Or B. Restore [30] manna.
- Cannot heal themselves.
- By spending [45] manna, the Slayer can heal others, but this takes [2] posts of [120] words.
- Can create or use canon techniques for spells. But they must be submitted and put into guild term.

A supportive spell that, by chanting out an incantation, allows the user to temporarily enhance the targets' movement speed by 1.5x's by surrounding them with Magical Auras. When cast, the target, and/or user, is able to hover around at their own discretion within said Magical Aura. It can be employed upon multiple allies, up to 3, and also on the caster themselves.
