Her shift was just about up, which was good because she had plans to patrol later that night, and she was waiting for Dongmei to finish her homework and relieve her. Luckily it was rather slow tonight, so the wait wasn't going to be a horribly busy one. Though she did perk up at the sight of a light blue haired woman coming in, a bright smile on her face.

"Hello and welcome to the Pool of Sacred Tears." Already she was moving to gather towels and slippers for the woman. "Don't worry, there's nothing really hard about this. And the coupon is real, so don't worry about that either~"

It was something they'd done as a promotional not long before she'd joined the staff, hoping that regulars could use the coupon to get friends or family to try out the bath house.

"The Pool of Sacred Tears is a bath house, primarily, with an outside hot spring located out back that is open only at night and during the winter time." Actually Alejandro was probably opening it now, now that she was looking at the time. "We provide a place to lock up your personal belongings while you bathe as well."

Once she could get the coupon from the young woman and get the payment sorted out she could show her around. Which always made the explanations easier.

"Alejandro should be opening it up for the night now, actually!" She actually wasn't sure if you could see the night sky, all her time was usually spent in the bath house itself. "If you're willing to wait a couple minutes, I'm sure you'll be able to make use of it tonight."

Sneakers thudded against the wooden floor before a teen skidded to a halt by the desk, panting heavily. Bright pink and orange hair told Melody exactly who it was.

"Sorry I'm late, Mel. I lost track of time."

"It's okay, Dongmei. I was just checking in Miss Leonara." A smile to Leonara. "Nothing like that needed, the only price there is to pay is the initial payment for services."

Golden eyes glanced to the new comer, a smile on a chubby face. "Of course there are additional, and separate, charges if you find yourself hungry. We do have a small kitchen you can order food from or there's the vending machine!"

"We do also sell robes, slippers, shirts and keychains, all the with bath house's logo on them~" Melody added, finishing up what was needed as far as the coupon's payment went. "And that seems to be everything dealing with the front and payment."

"Are you going to head home then, Melody?" Dongmei asked, heading to take her place behind the counter.

"Actually... I might just join Leonara for a bath~ I wanted to show her everything in the changing room and bath portion so it works out." Brown eyes glanced to the other woman. "If you wouldn't mind some company, that is."

"Oh it definitely is worth it," Dongmei grinned. "When I was younger dad would take me out to bathe with him and the stars are just so pretty." A small sigh as her eyes closed. "We definitely got lucky that there aren't a lot of lights blocking the sky."

"A robe is not necessary," Melody chimed in, smiling as the younger girl seemed to get lost in memories. "Some people just like to buy one to take home with them." She'd bought one for her own mom, who wore it all the time. "Towels are perfectly acceptable and welcomed. We sort of pride ourselves as being more about the experience then the money."

A wink before she tossed her keys on the desk, Dongmei might need them later to get to towels if they had more customers later.

Hearing the other's stomach rumble a bit, Melody laughed just a little bit. It was about that time, even she was going to need to eat food soon.

"As for food, it's mostly whatever Niu has decided to make for the day. Usually bean buns or dumplings, some times sandwiches. We also sell cup noodles and a variety of juices and sodas." They did have plum wine and sake, but they usually sold that more during special events. "We also have a variety of tea. Including hot tea, which is on the house."

"Papa says no eating in the bath, we used to allow it, but some jerks ruined it. You can take your food into the changing room and eat there though."

"Well, that answers that then." A thankful smile to the younger girl, before turning back to Leonara.

"If you'd like we can grab food and eat first."

"We have several types of tea! And if we don't have it you can request it as something we carry." Smiling to the woman as she took the offered card, Dongmei rang her up. "But yes, we definitely have green tea."

"Considering your family does a lot of traditional foods and the like, I would hope so," Melody teased before realizing the other was buying for her too. A slight blush rose to her cheeks. "Aah... Thank you."

She had wanted to argue but it as too late considering the young teen was already handing back the card. No doubt she knew already what Melody had wanted to drink.

"Strawberry ramune, right?" A clarification that yes, she did.

"You know me too well~ Are they in the kitchen today?"

"If you want it cold."

A nod and Melody moved to lead them over to the small ordering window by the vending machine, once she was handed the ordering ticket from Dongmei. Food and then a nice soak!

"You're welcome, by the way." A smile as glanced to the other woman. She hadn't forgotten that she had been thanked. "It's always nice to have someone with you. Sometimes Dongmei and I get a chance to bathe together, or I'll snag her sister if she's stopped by."

There was a pause as she stuck the ticket in the window playfully, waving it around so it was hard for it to be grabbed.

"Thank you for the meal."

"There won't be one if I can't get the ticket, Mel," Niu teased, grabbing it while she was distracted. "Food will be right up."

Everyone in the bathhouse got on amazingly, and that was part of the charm that had Melody applying in the first place. She had been, and would continue to be, glad that they had felt she was a good fit for the dynamic here already. She would be glad to always be a part of the bathhouse.

"You know, I don't know," she replied with a thoughtful blink,

"Don't know what?" Niu asked, setting the strawberry soda on th counter ith a clink of glass.

"If customers can bring food to share?"

The bathhouse's resident cook paused a moment, a bit surprised. "You know, that's never come up before." A moment to pause and think, working on Leonara's tea at the same time. A smile as he set the cup down on the small window counter. "I don't see why not. You know the rules about food and where it can and can't be eaten, so as long as that's followed I see no harm in it."

One more smile before he turned to go and grab the dumplings for the young women.

"Welp, it looks like it's all good. I'm excited to try home made cookies, though. It's been some time since I've had any."
