TWO WEEKS AFTER INCIDENT AT S.T.A.R. LABS
Loction: Slaughter Swamp It really had taken the full two weeks for Eobard to calm down. The job at S.T.A.R. Labs had been botched, and it only succeeded thanks to his quick thinking. Deadshot had been captured by the League as planned. At most, all they would be able to do is extract a plan from him that involved Time Travel (which was a fabricated lie) along with a microchip that contained the very location of their hideout. Thawne predicted that they wouldn't pass the encryption on the chip within the next few weeks, which meant that his plan had a timer to succeed. There was only one shot, and his associates needed to know it. The rest of the Legion had been gathered upstairs. Finishing off a machine he had devised to absorb the Flash's speed force, He gathered himself, and paced towards the entry of the room after ascending the flight of stairs. The room fell silent as he graced them with his presence. He took a deep breath, and spoke, "I hope our newest members have had the time necessary to settle in." He lifted his right arm, and brought it down in a clenched fist. Class was in session, and they were all about to receive a lesson from the Professor. "Our little breakout at S.T.A.R. Labs was a disgrace. Lack of co-ordination, betrayal and inaction almost cost us our first mission. If this happens again, you can all wave goodbye to any dreams you may have for this world. I brought you all together because I believed you all to be efficient, ruthless and ambitious. I'm not a man who takes being wrong very lightly." Zoom then put aside his disappointment as he loosened his fist. "--Now, hoping we have learnt from our mistakes, we shall begin our next mission. Circe, you and Parasite will be heading off to Themyscira. You'll be meeting with Ares, he will explain what is needed to be done once you are there, and I trust you will succeed." He nodded at the sorceress. He had no doubts about her capabilities. "--Sinestro, Black Adam, Enchantress and I, we will be meeting with two more potential associates. We're going to require a rather unique item to further ensure that we achieve our goals. We'll be leaving as soon as possible." Thawne broadened his shoulders as he paced at the front of the room before stopping before them all. "The rest of you will be keeping the League at bay whilst we're gone. Given their reputations, It's been decided that Grodd, Savage and another potential associate will be co-coordinating your affairs from here on out until our return. Their word is absolute, and you will follow their orders down to the last detail in order to ensure our plan succeeds. I trust I won't have to repeat myself."Eobard nodded at Enchantress, giving her the go to help transport those who weren't able to cross great distances with swiftness. Within an instant, crimson bolts of electrical energy immersed Professor Zoom, and his feet carried him off at a tremendous speed as he ran out of the Slaughter Swamp. As he crossed the country, Eobard felt a sudden stunt in his speedforce, shortly losing his footing whilst running and falling off. Sliding across the ground, he growled as he stopped himself. He looked at his right arm as it began to vibrate then stop vibrating, then vibrating again once more. Something had changed in his future. He needed to hurry, time was running out for him. He picked himself up once more, and zoomed off. Where was he going? To a dark cove off the coast of the United States, where he was about to meet with none other than Ocean Master and Black Manta.

︾ ︾ ︾ ︾ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ╔══════════════╗ 𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜsᴛʀᴏᴋᴇ ╚══════════════╝ Deathstroke had been listening to what the speedster had to say from his position against the back wall; arms folded over his armored chest as his single glowing red optic was focused on the man that called himself Professor Zoom. From what Slade was able to infer from his brief contact with the leaders of the Legion was that there was a serious lack of proper organization in the hierarchy department, as was the case whenever these "super villain" group therapy sessions happened. No matter how carefully planned things were, how organized they believed them to be there were always internal power struggles. How the people who head this teams still haven't yet realized that it was damn near impossible to keep a bunch of psychotic megalomaniacs in line wasn't ever going to work long term was something that baffled Slade. Even more puzzling was it seemed it was always the same group of individuals that assembled these teams. How long was it going to be before they realized it didn't work? Oh well, whatever the reason he didn't care long as he got paid."The rest of you will be keeping the League at bay whilst we're gone. Given their reputations, It's been decided that Grodd, Savage and another potential associate will be co-coordinating your affairs from here on out until our return. Their word is absolute, and you will follow their orders down to the last detail in order to ensure our plan succeeds. I trust I won't have to repeat myself."Slade couldn't help but snort quietly to himself when Thawne spoke these words; the likelihood of all these wackos following anybody's orders "to the last detail" was highly unlikely. Not that it mattered, Deathstroke knew how to coordinate a group (even if their ultimate plan was botched by an over-ambitious acolyte grasping for power.) As soon as the Reverse Flash finished speaking he was gone; the room fell silent for a long moment before Slade decided to step forward. The Terminator allowed his arms to fall to his sides as he did so, his crimson gaze falling first on Grodd and then on Savage before he finally broke the silence. I have only one question. Deathstroke began, his helmet's built in voice amplifier distorting his voice slightly. What took you so long to come to a real professional? My rates too high for you, or something? Slade's dry humor was greeted by a few stifled chuckles from the remaining villains in the room. Well... I can't blame you I suppose. You get what you pay for. A wry smirk to make its way across Slade's scarred face from behind his helmet, hoping his obvious shot at Floyd Lawton didn't go unnoticed. Getting back on track, Deathstroke continued as he crossed his arms once more; the Terminator's tone switching to a more serious one. I was hired primarily as a tactical advisor, but as you know I'm late to the party. So... what's our game plan? I need the details before I can be of any contribution.

"I'm sure you can appreciate the concept of weeding out the undesirables." Grodd replied to the mercenary, pointing out the distinct lack of those members of the legion that would have proven either problematic and down right detrimental to the Legion's overall goal. Atrocitus was time bomb waiting to go off, Deadshot lacked ambition, and the Joker and his pet were simply unpredictable. The Legion itself was still unsure as to where the two clowns had disappeared off of too but that was no longer their concern. Not that most of them had any idea as to what was actually going on. That had been shared by Thawne to his 'Inner Council' which now included Deathstroke. Grodd held a notable hatred for humanity in all of it's forms, but even he could not deny the skills and experience that Slade would bring to the table. He would make a powerful ally and an even more formidable foe to the Legion's enemies.
"Straight to the point then." Grodd noted looking down at the mercenary before trading glances with Savage and other members of the Legion. "The goal is simple, we divide and conquer. Thawne and Circe will be attending to operations within Atlantis and Themyscera, the League will split themselves between the two once our members commence their missions. Our goal is to divide them even further. .." Grodd explained the details of their mission. It was simple but altogether imperative to the Legion's end game. " Our ultimate goal is to either incapacitate or downright eliminate as many members of the Justice League as we can. Those members that would be ill-suited to take on the challenges of either Atlantis or Themyscera."

Thawne sped back from the cove as soon as he could. A quick change in plan, but he knew Barry better than anyone. Chances are that The Flash would be sent to the Slaughter Swamp once the League would finally decrypt his chip on Deadshot.
Only been gone for around an hour, Thawne stopped short of both Deathstroke and Gorilla Grodd. He pulled back his cowl, and stared at Deathstroke. He had never formally had the chance to introduce himself to the assassin. "I'm glad you decided to join us, Mr Wilson." He smugly said. Eobard was well aware that the mercenaries loyalty was only as deep as his financier's pockets. He respected his talent however. "--And before you feel the need to remind me that you were hired and awaiting payment, trust me, your payment is going to be something quite spectacular." He grinned, as a menace grew on his face. "--A chance to change your rather disappointing future, my friend." Truthfully, Deathstroke would always be known for his skill as an assassin, but countless defeats awaited him in his future, like most of the other members of the Legion.
Eobard turned his head to Grodd. There was an unspoken mutual respect between the two, even though Thawne knew that Grodd's goal of domination was nothing more than a dream he would chase but never bring into being. That was perhaps one of Grodd's primary motivations in joining the Legion. "Atlantis and Themyscira are both currently under attack as planned. We'd best be ready, Grodd. I'd give them a day or two until they figure out where we are. We best all best prepare for our guests." He said with a venomous charm.

Grodd’s lips peeled back, canines bared back in anger. It was a natural reaction at this point, such was his disdain for all speedsters, even if he had allied himself with one of them. Grodd had allied himself with Thawne out of a mutual hatred of the Flash and his allies, but he was not foolish enough to trust the man in his entirety. The man was a psychopath even by a villain’s standards. And while he had been wise enough to acknowledge Grodd and the other inner circle members as a step above the common super villain, he knew that Thawne saw them all tools to use in his quest for vengeance. Grodd had to ensure that he remained in the Speedster’s good will. He knew just how expendable all of them were.
“With the strongest members otherwise distracted, the remnants will be easier to break.” Grodd stated. The strategy was that of divide and conquer. With members such as Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern removed from the equation for the time being, the league would respond with it’s weaker links. Once those were removed, taking down the rest of the League would be all but child’s play. Their temporary base here would be the perfect lure to bait the League and once they entered, their demise would be all but assured. ” Rest assured Thawne. When this is all over, Slaughter Swamp will be their final resting place.”
