Sezarra Post 1 Sezarra was making a study of stalking snaptrotters, the goal was to follow individuals closely to see habits and feeding patterns as well as where they bred where they laid their eggs ect. She had been following an older male, a younger male and a female for the past week. The yoing ome tended to make a habit of visiting caves a behaviour which the other two seemed not to exhibit. This interested her because it mihht be tied to age or it could simply be individualistic variation. She was at the mouth of one of the caves now she was sure the snaptrotter had gone in and she wanted to try to catch him. He looked like he would be a lot of fun. She was glad she had not taken Valdor with her. He was quite protective of her as he had always been.

Yunnan Post 1 In his studies Yunan had come across a rather old piece of parchment. On the browning paper was a series of ink blots that at first looked like a child's doodle, but once he held it to the light the hybrid could see that there was indeed some vague outline. A map? Yunan's brow furrowed as he studied the old thing once more. It seemed like it was and for some reason it piqued the boy's interest. Would it hurt to take a day off from his studies to actually go and explore something? He was curious after all as to why someone would take the trouble to mark down a map of a cave. Could it have treasures? Smirking, Yunan packed his bag before heading on his way across the beaches and down the cliffs to where a cavern awaited him. "Time to see what I can find." That stated Yunan began his descent.

Sezarra Post 2 Seze did not see the hybrid as he entered ahead of her, having been distracted by a pretty green beetle that tried to land on her, something which she was opposed to. She caught it for selling later and tucked its vial away before sneaking into the cave in super stealth mode, something that worked on the radaku in Jauhar.
Walking as silently as possible she breached the mouth of the cave and was soon in the belly of the beast..or at least its neck? Anyway, she was in the cave. Seze used her sharp ears to detect what her eyes had trouble with in the dark cave, the yellow glinting in the nightlike lighting. A rustle behind a boulder... she leapt up and above ready to go for the ride of her life on the back of her potentially new snaptrotter...
And she landed in the lap of a waterling? iceling? Well it seemed he was rather in between a hybrid then..fascinating.
"But where is the snaptrotter?" she asked him in a completely reasonable voice from her place sprawled on his lap.

It seemed that there were some carvings on the cavern walls. Yunan's gaze narrowed as he focused on them. As he tried to decipher what was before him the hybrid didn't register that there was movement above. So when the stranger 'arrived' by jumping on his lap the boy was definitely surprised. Letting out an 'umph' noise Yunan had to stop the stars from spinning around his head so that he could focus on whatever the hell had appeared from thin air. Not only had she thought it pleasant to jump him, but now she was asking some ridiculous question about a snaptrotter?"Obviously it's not here." Quipped Yunan as he attempted to push the girl from his lap, "The only creature I see even close to one is some girl who randomly jumps on people in a dark cavern." He himself was definitely far from a snaptrotter so what in the world was she thinking jumping on him like that?

"Well you could try to rustle more like an earthling then." She said amused at this whole predicament. He was taking a flying woman rather well in her opinion, if someone had done that to her she would have stabbed first and asked questions later. She gripped his jaw for a moment and examined his face. "Well you have the same color eyes as it did, you sure you didn't transform from it? Cause that would be totally cool." Then she could tame him and keep him. She got off his lap and chuckled. "Sorry to have disturbed...what were you doing in here anyway?"
She peered around looking for the cause, maybe he was looking for the same snaptrotter?
Blinking yellow eyes back at him she tilted her head.

Yunan rose a brow at the girl, "Pray tell me exactly how an earthling rustles in a dark cave. Should I drag my feet behind me or play some music with each step?" He retorted sharply before freezing at the sudden touch. So not even his face was safe from this crazy woman? What sort of map led him to this situation? The hybrid's gaze sharpened, "I think I would remember being a snaptrotter if so. You're fortunate that's not the case else you may have lost a hand already." He commented as she finally got off of his lap. As he stood Yunan brushed dirt from his clothing before glancing towards the strange shifter, "I was just exploring since I just discovered this place. I'm guessing you're looking for a snaptrotter, albeit in a horrible manner might I add. Who just jumps on the back of something in the dark?" She was lucky it was him else she really may have been in some trouble! Not that she wasn't, but still Yunan had been raised to be a bit more civil. So he wasn't going to fight her over that today, but maybe if she touched him again then he would truly have some qualms against her. Though as he noticed her eyes the boy's own gaze narrowed. Was she not a pure either? Interesting if so. Not that it mattered to him. All he knew was that there was this woman in front of him who was just chatting it up in a cave after jumping him in the dark. So much for a good first impression - not that it seemed to bother her anyways.

"Well you could make more noise for one thing, then again that might draw the snaptrotter itself." She shrugged at him, as if his getting eaten wasn't that big of a deal to her. "Actually the whole point would have been if you were a snaptrotter. I was meaning to jump it not you, I'm a beast tamer and when your a girl sometimes its best if you relieve them of any preconceived notions about genders early in the training, saves stress later you see."
There was real power in the sneak attack, he obviously was unaware of this fact. She flicked her hair and peered deeper into the cave. "Well, bye." she chirped at him and marched deeper into the cave looking for her critter.
This boy was an enigma, it mildly piqued her interest, but she had a job to do and she would be darned if she would be distracted for too long.
He didn't look like any of the hybrids she had seen but to be fair she probably didn't look like any shifter he had seen previously either, she was so proud of her yellow eyes which more closely matched her personality then the gray ones she had been born with.

Yunan pinched the bridge of his nose, "You do know that no one wants to attract attention to themselves while in a strange place that could be crawling with many dangerous creatures." And great, just great. She wanted to jump on the snaptrotter, "I doubt beasts care about gender. What they do care about is sudden weight on them and how quickly they can be rid of it." He made a face, "I for one realize their feelings now all too well considering you fell like a boulder on me." Not that she was particularly heavy, but the sudden weight as still not appreciated by the hybrid. He was just thankful that they were having this conversation apart rather than her lingering on his lap.And just like that she was saying goodbye. Yunan was content to leave it there and just leave. He could turn away now and just not worry about this mess of a situation. Not like he had found anything here save for some old scratchmarks so far. So much for a 'treasure map' - what had he been expecting? Logically it just did not make sense to leave something of value in a place like this. Anyone could come in, obvious enough with the girl pouncing things here, and the treasure would be taken. Or worse when the tide came in then what? At the realization the boy's gaze widened - the tide. The fool was going deeper into the cave and there could be a tide coming in shortly, "It's a dead end that way anyways." He found himself calling out, "If you want to go looking for a snapper the best bet would be to take the left passage." Maybe at least he could give her directions before she got lost and burned time when she needed to get out. Seriously out of all the places to want to tame a snapper...Yunan had to rub his forehead again in frustration. Spirits help me.

Seze angled to the left, having heard him but not bothering to acknowledge, he seemed a bit fusty anyhow, many other more spirited boys would appreciate pretty woman raining from the sky. She would have appreciated a pretty man after having lost Bar she was shopping for one idly between massive beast charmer projects. But well perhaps he was too busy staring at walls. What an odd male.
She snooped around but found no tracks in the sand not even a tail swipe, it was not down here so she meandered back and found the track set..the lizard had gone right back out again probably behind the hybrid, thinking most likely that he would be too gamey to eat. "Are you coming? The tide is going to be in soon."

And she was going left. Yunan just blinked at the audacity of this girl. Not only did she randomly attack in the darkness, but apparently she was master at not listening to directions either, "Good job. You found a dead end. How surprising - it's almost as if you could have went the other way but opted to choose the obvious dead end instead." He stated flatly as she came back. Was there just a screw loose up there? Was that it? There had to be some explanation for why this woman was running about and not even listening to logic. Which speaking of logic...at least she knew about the tide. Yunan had to take a deep breath to calm himself. He wasn't about to let some strange woman irk him this much, "I don't know at this rate I'm thinking the tide may be the better option to having company." Still, he shouldered his satchel and began to walk back the way he came. Maybe he would return another day, but for now it was best to get out before the tide came rolling in.

Huh she thought he told her to go left, OH WELL. He sure was sensitive for a male, maybe he needed a female, maybe she should set him up with one. All grumpy males needed a mate right? Yep from his comments that was it. There really was no reason to be so prickly, when did she sign up for him to be her keeper? Didn't he know she was older and a beast charmer? As a career she couldn't just hide from danger. "What were you looking at? If I may ask?" Maybe the key was interest in what he was doing?

Yunan pressed his satchel against his body as he climbed over a rock. Perhaps he was just so flustered by this woman that he wasn't truly in his right mind. Who knew what was going on anymore? Or perhaps this was one of those really vivid dreams that felt more like reality. I should expect to wake up soon then before the tide crashes in. But as the seconds passed it seemed that he wasn't that fortunate. Instead he found himself being pestered more by the woman, "I would prefer if you didn't ask." He replied shortly, "I was just glancing about the cave to see if there's anything important here. So far I haven't found much at all."

So he told her not to ask, but ended up telling her what she needed to know anyway. What a contradictory soul this one had. She looked at him, really looked at him. Had being part ice and part water frozen him somehow? The play on words made the corners of her mouth twitch. Certainly that was the problem. Pity for him she was a shifter and shifters were all about change. "Is there any other topics you prefer not to discuss or does your request encompass them all?" He really had asked for it. Pity there wasn't a poison tribe because she bet he would fit right in..maybe he was too warm..or hungry. Males especially didn't like being hungry. Its not like she had gone out of her way to offend him either. But now that he had actually gotten under her skin..she was paying attention. "My name is Sezarra, I am a beast charmer specializing in the large ridable species. It is a pleasure to meet you, I apologize for my behavior earlier. I tend to get rather caught up in the hunt." Their ankles were covered by water now but they should make it out of the cave in time.

Yunan Post 7
Raising a brow towards the shifter Yunan just shook his head, "All of them." He replied shortly before reaching out so that he could climb over a fallen log that was blocking part of the path. Gritting his teeth the hybrid refused to acknowledge the muck that was getting on his hands as he pushed himself over and into the other side of the passage. What was he to expect? Of course the tide would leave behind 'little goodies' like trees and other muck from the ocean. His frustrations with their surroundings only increased as the woman suddenly decided that now was the time for introductions. In the middle of the cave...during the tide....Yunan took another deep breath before continuing on, "I see." He seemingly brushed off her words, "As it is I'd rather not get caught up in the tide so forgive me if I seem a bit occupied at the moment."

Well he really was unfriendly, he probably needed more fiber in his diet too, now that she thought about it. Ignorant youngling, his parents must have let him run wild. At least he explained himself. "Why are you so worried? Can't you swim?" Seze was mildly concerned at the predicament but it became more pronounced when she realized she couldn't get over the branch. She whistled and heard galloping footsteps, two sets of janarim grunts and moans. They could not breach it but the 3 radaku simply leaped it. Sezarra made a note to work out with them more, she wanted to do that.
Even with the radaku there though she could not breach the wall. "You said the other path was not a dead end right? Perhaps it leads to the surface." Most likely not but they had to try now didn't they.
More likely would be that the cave went far enough back they would be okay even with the tide in. A haven...maybe her snaptrotters would be back there. She turned and tugged the prentice off the log.
