Physical description: Rose is an average sized girl in height and width, weighing in at 110 lbs and standing at 5'9. She has lanky arms and pale skin. Her most notable feature is her hair; it goes from pale blue to and purple-rosey looking color, which is how she got her name. There is nothing else really worth mentioning about her.

Goal: Rose's goal is to travel the Kimchi region and grow on her own; without the help from anyone.
Motivation: Rose's motivation for being a trainer is to simply have fun. She's not in it for the glory of the Pokemon League; having an adventure with her Pokemon is really all that she's looking forward to having. Befriending Pokemon and growing with them has always been what she's been looking forward to in life.
Favored Pokémon: The cute, strong Pokemon with astounding abilities are the types are what Rose has begun to favor.
Hobbies: Catching all kinds of cute and strong Pokemon. Other than that, it would be studying Pokemon's abilities and moves with Professor Linden and his assistants in Tolkien Town.

Personality: Rose is the girl you went to school with that hit puberty, had a sudden glow up and she knows; but just doesn't show it due to her own modesty. However, she does use it to her advantage from time to time. While she is a completely nerdy bookworm she is also quite the charmer and uses her looks to get herself into Professor Linden's personal studies by way of one of his assistants. She loves studying Pokemon and learning about their abilities and how they work in and outside of battle and how to use abilities to give advantage to a Pokemon's moves. She hates losing and often beats her self up over not knowing the right move to use - when to use a Pokemon's ability, etc.

Family: Rose's family all live in Cherrygrove City. When she was 17, she decided to go on an adventure to another region on her own. Her father didn't approve at first, but he eventually grew into the idea of it provided that she called often.
Hometown: Cherrygrove City, Johto.
Biography: Cherrygrove City was never a very interesting city for the children growing up there. After school, the kids would wait by the gates to Route 30 for any trainers coming and going through. The children asked to see Pokemon battles, and different Pokemon. But aside from that, nothing ever happened in Cherrygrove City. At a young age, this is where Rose became very interested in how Pokemon worked; their abilities, moves and physiology.
Rose grew up in this relatively quiet city, too far to meet the Professor of the region and with no Pokemon to help her during her travels. However, that never stopped her fiery interest. On that day she walked into the tall grass on Route 29 is the day where her life changed. She walked through the tall grass into a horde of angry, wild Pidgey and they definitely took no mercy on her. They clawed at her with their talons, they pecked at her with their beaks, they blew her tot he ground with their wing attacks and kicking up dirt before they all flew away. For any normal girl, normally, this would be traumatizing. Rose only felt sadness instead of fear - she loved Pokemon, why had they attacked her?
In school, Rose studied Pidgey and their behaviors and went back out into the tall grass. This time, she befriended the Pidgey's with Oran berries. Her interest had piqued due to this. She could befriend any Pokemon just by understanding them.
When the new Pokemon League Champion was announced from the Indigo Plateau, Rose's eyes were glued to the screen; she was awestruck. She took notes on how Blaze, Torrent and all of the Pokemon that were used in that final, timeless battle between two rivals fighting for the top. After the winning team entered the Hall of Fame, Rose looked to her parents and said,"I want to be a trainer, pointing at the new Champion." She pointed to the TV screen, showing the all-Kanto Pokemon team.
Years later, she fed those Pidgey one last time before leaving for the Kimchi region. She was gifted a Croagunk by her sister, who was studying the ruins and ancient fossils over in the Sinnoh region. The Croagunk was aptly named Tanzanite due to her sister's love for rocks and fossils. Rose decided to follow the same theme when she began catching Pokemon of her own. She left for the next ship to the Kimchi Region and stayed with Professor Linden and assisted with research until the day she got her own Pokemon. She's stayed in constant contact with her sister through the months and started getting into the nomenclature of archeologists. Her sister said that since she's following a whole theme then she should start going by Rose Quartz because of her hair. Thus, her nickname.
