Given the amount of students who'd been wandering around the park lately he had decided to take an evening to walk himself. Uvarovite had powered up outside the part before wandering in to the western edge. The area offered far more cover, most of the trees concentrated in that region, and made for a good place to gather energy. He'd left one young man slumped against a tree drained but still alive before going in search of another victim. The park was far from empty but quite a few of the students were using the darkness of the park and the cover of the trees to engage in more ... pleasant activities than a simple stroll. Pitty Tourmaline hadn't come out with him.

More often than not when Celliwig of Earth patrolled through Destiny City Park she was not alone. She and her companion, Thrudheim, had taken to patrolling the park together from time to time-- Not often, as her friend was still settling in and sometimes it was best to settle while exploring one's Wonder than it was to roam the woods, but from time to time. This time, however, she'd missed the last bus leaving campus and it really wasn't practical to ask Joce to take the car that they were sharing across town to pick her up. More than likely Joce had dinner in the works on the stove and traffic heading away from their part of town was always worse about this time of night. She'd sent her friend a quick text letting her know that she'd missed the bus but was planning on taking a shortcut home and powered up out of sight. Her dash had taken her down a path she didn't often travel, and right before she could turn down a more familiar path she felt something. A blip. Chaos. Celliwig sighed as she paused, fussing with the end of her braid for a moment as she pondered running on and ignoring it. She couldn't, however, not when it was her duty to help keep Earth safe-- more so as one of Earth's knights. Sighing, Celliwig drew her stick from where it was tucked into her belt, heading down the path towards the Chaos aura that she'd felt, hoping she wasn't already too late to do something about it.

Uvarovite had found a second victim after a bit more searching, an unsuspecting young man who'd been paying a little too much attention to his phone, snagged him before he could register someone was behind him. He had thought it would be an easy night but as he was draining the young man he felt another power signature. OrderThose children were starting to become pests. They always seemed to turn up when one didn't want them and they always got in the way. He could understand so easily now why they needed to be wiped off the face of the earth. It was too late to drop the young man and he figured he could finish draining him before whoever the interloper was arrived or he would get lucky and they'd go past.

Celliwig hardly looked threatening, roaming through the woods. With her forest greens and soft browns she would blend in far better during the day time than she did at night, especially with the way her hair shined brightly like a bonfire in the moonbeams. Even without the Order aura clinging to her she was a beacon-- a beacon with only a stick with which to defend herself as she approached the Lieutenant. Celliwig paused, clearing her throat before speaking as plainly as she could. "Excuse me. I believe it would be in your best interest to cease and desist."

He rolled his eyes and sighed before turning just enough that he could see the page who'd addressed him. He hadn't run into many of those but so far what he knew of them she'd be no better equipped than he was to deal with an enemy. Uvarovite supposed that was a bonus. No magic to deal with being attacked by a page. "You are far too late to really do anything about it. So I would suggest you move along and pretend you didn't see anything young lady." He let go of the young man, who slumped at his feet, and turned to look at her fully . His victim wasn't dead but he was going to regret his life when he woke up.

"Maker's breath..." Celliwig rolled her eyes at the way she'd been addressed in return by the Lieutenant, resisting the urge to check the discarded youth's pulse for the time being. It was hard to tell in the shadows cast by the branches above, but she thought she saw his chest shift with a breath. She'd continue to hope it was that and not just his body settling until after she'd dealt with the aggressor. "I'm older than most of the others out roaming about... And honestly, I don't see what age has to do with whether or not you've done something wrong. So now that you've ceased, please make with the desisting and leave." Make like a tree and leave would have been a better line, all things considered, but she really didn't want to go there. Did she? "Go on. Get."

He laughed softly as the page tried to get him to shoo like he was some misbehaving pet. Did she really think something like that was going to work? Much less on someone like him? Either she was very new or she was very naive. Both options were good enough for him and meant that she could potentially be a good source for another starseed. He hadn't picked one up in a while and if he left her body beside the young mans someone was bound to think he did it. Easy for the Negaverse to ignore that death if there was a scapegoat. "That depends entirely on what you consider wrong. And this young man here was following a nice young lady home so in a way I did someone a favor." Not the young man obviously. "If you are older then you should know better than to stick your nose where it doesn't belong." He held out a hand and summoned his watch, letting it swing from his hand for a moment. "Move along."

"Creep following someone home through the park? What makes you think he wasn't one of yours?" Celliwig snorted, sorely tempted to cross her arms over her chest. She would have were it not for the fact that she might need her arms free to defend herself. She might need her hands. She might need her weapon. Celliwig shifted her grip on the curved stick in her hand, firming her grasp against whatever might come next. She didn't throw it this time, tempting as that might have been. Having a cat run off with it and hide it away in a tree had been bad enough. She did not want to risk the Negaverse agent taking off with her weapon too. "No. Sorry. I'm afraid that where I belong is right here-- between you and whatever other trouble you might be looking to cause in the park tonight."

"If he was one of mine do you really think he'd be on the ground now?" He tsked softly as he watched her. Too bad for the young lady that she hadn't just listened and gone home like a good girl. Eventually one of the pests was going to actually listen to their elders and do what he said. Swinging his watch around his hand he shook his head before lunging at her. He half expected the page to run away, or at least flinch, but if she didn't she was going to have one rather annoyed officer in her face. He didn't bother with trying to hit her, not yet, instead going for knocking her excuse of a weapon out of her hand.

Her lips parted and she looked like she was going to ask him if he really knew all of the other scum bags on his side of the tracks. She would have asked him that if he hadn't lunged at her. Rude. Celliwig stepped back, the heel of her boot catching on the hem of her dress. The action was followed by the distinct sound of fabric tearing and the Page of Earth began to flail on the way down to the ground. One hand whirled around empty while the other began to swing her stick around, determined to do some sort of damage if she was already taking herself down.

The page tripping herself on her skirt was not something Uvarovite would have expected to happen but given out outfit it was probably something that happened quite a bit. One would think that these so called 'special' people would be a little more conscious about what they were wearing. You can't fight if you're going to end up on your a**. As she flailed the stick did clip the officers hand, scratching it as he grabbed hold and yanking it out of her hand as she fell. He wasn't worried about catching her after all but getting the weapon away from her, even if it was rather useless, was a good idea. When the knight hit the ground he smirked, standing over her with the stick in hand. For the moment he ignored the feeling of blood sliding down his wrist from the cut. He could deal with that later. "Taking yourself out early? Not something I suspected from someone as ...determined as yourself."

"Diversionary tactics." The Page of Earth grunted as she shifted on the ground, violet eyes glaring at the Negaverse agent looming over her. Without giving it a second thought she brought a foot up, aiming a kick at his leg-- legs-- whatever she could hit, honestly. While he was standing over her gloating with her stick in hand she could at least try and do something to get him down on her level. "Bugger yourself."

He laughed at the pages words, managing to shift his legs enough that her foot only clipped him before shifting one to press a boot in between her legs. He figured with a skirt like that she'd be trapped with no way to get up and no way to kick him again. "My dear, you should be careful with those words unless you can actually back them up." A knight seed wasn't something he'd ever managed to snag and she was looking like the prime candidate to try that out on. -------------------------------------------------------------- One day, one day Arsinoe was going to be able to go out into the park by himself and not run into some negaverse agent causing problems. Mag Mell was with his group and instead of barging in on that he'd decided to go patrolling alone. It was supposed to be an easy night. But no. Instead of sensed two signatures off in a more secluded area of the park. One order and one chaos but both rather low level. Which probably meant nothing good knowing how bad newer senshi were at this whole thing. Rolling his eyes he headed in that direction.

Celliwig could feel her pulse quicken as panic set in. She was currently trapped. He had her weapon and things didn't look like they were going to go her way at all. Her lips pressed together to form a thin line and she refused to let him see just how frightened she was. As the Inquisitor she had faced worse. As the Warden she had stopped a Blight. As any number of characters she had stood up to face off against any number of enemies. She had also learned how to pay attention and to bluff. Paying attention to little things meant that she could feel the Order aura closing in on their location. Now it was time to test her ability to bluff. "You really ought to be giving me back my stick before my friend gets here. You can feel them coming, can't you? They'll be here any moment. I called them before I came over here to stop you... You can feel how strong they are, can't you?"

He had the knight where he wanted her, so easy to get her star seed, but her words got him to pay attention and he could feel another Order signature coming toward them. The anger the bubbled up in him made him pause, wanting to just deal with the other Order pest for interrupting him but the signature reminded him of his General's strength. Knowing what he could do he didn't really want to test his luck with someone that much stronger than he was. "s**t ... You are lucky though I doubt you were smart enough to call for help." He looked down at the page again before stepping back. The order signature hadn't quite made it to them yet and he didn't want to deal with it. "You might want to thank them for saving your seed." Turning he took off into the shadows of the trees hoping he could put some distance between them and that the stronger energy signature didn't give chase. -------------------------------------------------------------- As Arsinoe caught up to the two signatures he noticed one of them was disappearing. It seemed like the officer decided he wasn't worth dealing with. Pitty since it had been a lower level one and he'd have liked to get rid of one of the bastards. It wasn't worth chasing though when he needed to make sure that the page was alright. Pausing by her he looked down before holding out a hand. "You alright?"
