Physical Description: Ichta is a small woman with medium-dark skin, dark brown hair (that is curly and does whatever the hell it wants), and dark eyes. Her dark eyes are amplified by the dark, tired circles she has. She has delicate hands and fingers that are perfect for doing detail-oriented work and seems to have the attention span for it despite looking so sleepy. Ichta's only real distinguishing feature is the scar that runs from her neck, up her chin, and ends on the tip of her nose. It has faded from age.
Personality: Ichta is a sweet young woman who is at peace sitting quietly by herself doing whatever task she's been set to that day - usually thread-counting and mending garments. Despite looking eternally tired, she has a sharp eye and notices a lot more than she usually lets on (and even more than she'd ever comment on). She's the type who realizes that the little things do matter (such as making sure the thread she's collecting is the same shade. You don't want 4 different shades of yellow in a tapestry!), and if too many of them got ignored, a lot could go wrong. She will also collect all those same-shades of yellow thread with nary a complaint, the type happy to find herself being of some help, after all. She will happily sit and listen to people talk, just to listen to what they're saying, not worried about what she's going to say to them until it's her turn to speak. Even then, her answer is usually with a gentle, small voice - and short unless it's a question that requires detailed answering. She's not the sort to have around if you want someone to carry a conversation for you.

For all her sweet, helpful nature, however, Ichta is very jumpy. A suddenly raised voice, or too twitchy or sudden of a gesture will cause her to recoil in fear - and as far as she's concerned, there is no explanation as for why. This may be why she developed such a gentle voice - spooking people tends to make them recoil and it would turn into a horrible downward spiral of flinch-effects. She also won't actively try to inconvenience others for help - even if she desperately needs it. Ichta also won't speak up if someone is taking advantage of her meek nature, allowing someone to continually push her to do things she's very much uncomfortable doing (within reason) or simply defer their tasks to her.

She's the type who will do best once she has a solid support behind her to allow her to relax a little bit in her own skin. Ichta's jumpy, fearful nature seems to extend solely to people and human interaction, and she regards dragons, animals, and children in a much more open and obviously friendly way.

History: Ichta is the only child of a single mother who...had very unkind things to say about Ichta's still unknown father. She spent the first 8 years of her daughter's life riling her up into some grand fantasy that her father was some sort of powerful individual who was going to send powerful people to come and do who knows what to her if she wasn't a quiet, good child and made sure he'd never find her. Ichta definitely didn't want to discover her unknown fate.

This meant taking care of a mostly alcoholic mother. After a fairly nasty incident that resulted in the scar on Ichta's face, the then 9-year-old was recruited into a Crafthall, where her attention to little details (because the little things always matter) was quickly built into an asset. Her life at the Crafthall has been very quiet and uneventful, outside of a few people thinking it was fun to play with Ichta's sensitive and jumpy meekness for their own entertainment.

She had begun her first real tapestry when she was found during a Search.

Other: Ichta has half a tapestry started in her quarters that she slowly chips away at between other tasks. It takes a long time to find the right colors of strings, and sometimes she decides to change something altogether.
