Arima was still adjusting to being home in the city. It was strange going from a camp of outsiders living in the desert to more formal affairs, dresses, and other aspects of fine living. Truly at times the Matori felt like a stranger in her own home. Even now when she straightened her silk skirts about her waist and braided her hair back the girl had to pause. Was this really her life again? It felt strange to have new material against her skin and it was even stranger to be in a quiet atmosphere rather than the rowdy one of the soldiers. Arima would still glance over her shoulder as if expecting someone to appear with a request or some injury at any moment. And then she would hope that one of them had certain features….and a familiar voice that sent a tingle down her spine. Shaking her head to clear it of those daydreams Arima could only flush before making certain that she was prepared once more.

Jakyr was waiting on her downstairs. He was her mentor’s nephew and while Koriyan was taking care of her mother, Arima had promised to take him out around the city. He wasn’t from the area and so she had volunteered to go out with him. She had seen him a couple of times already this week, but he was nice and good company during these more depressing times. And it would be a nice change from simply pacing around the quiet estate and gardens. And far better than missing someone that she couldn’t see now. Forcing a smile at her reflection one last time Arima finally left the room and hurried downstairs towards the entrance. There standing patiently was a slender Oban man with short red hair and a warm amber gaze, “Sorry for making you wait!” She waved at Jakyr who simply smiled before opening the door, “Do you like tea?” She began as they walked down the stone path and outside of the intricate gates of her home.

Tea would be delightful, Arima. I’m guessing you have a spot in mind?”

Ah, yes. There’s a nice little venue that overlooks the city. I thought it would be a good way to start the afternoon.” Smiling she tucked a stray curl behind a fin ear bashfully, “Is that acceptable?”

Of course.” He smiled warmly, “You’re the guide after all so lead the way.”

Nodding her head Arima hesitated before finally taking his arm so that they could begin their walk towards the café.

Saraf had been back in Sulburi for a short time now, seeming as though he was spending a good amount of his leave looking for a wayward healer as opposed to doing what the others were doing. Even their Captain had been spotted in the Janarim's Skull once or twice but Saraf...? He'd only gone there once when he'd brought Issaly to meet with Vanna. Otherwise he was off doing something that made him feel like a foolish young prentice. That being him chasing after a woman that was probably far too good for him since she was a lady and he was... well, the Vice Captain of a group of outcasts, ex-criminals, and various other sorts that weren't about to get a spot in the army proper.

Still, even if she wasn't meant for him that didn't mean that he shouldn't at least looking into what happened to her. One moment they were... ahh... taking shelter from that storm, the next she was gone with a new replacement incoming. Surely she hadn't given up, had she? She'd been so determined not to let the others and their teasing chase her off. Had it been because of him? Had he been the one that made her leave? It was altogether possible that their time together had ended up as something she saw as unpleasant, enough so that she'd rather give up on their bargain or sorts.

It was by sheer coincidence, with Saraf actually starting to give up on the idea of finding Arima, that he actually spotted her. It always seemed to be how such things went. The moment one stopped looking that which they were looking for appeared... and said person he was looking for was all dolled up and she wasn't alone. Was he right after all? Had she run away from the Outcast Unit and Saraf in particular and toward... that pretty boy? Was that was she was interested in? Without even thinking about it he found himself following along after them. He shouldn't, but he couldn't resist at least getting a better look at the one Arima had left the Outcast Unit for.

As they walked along Arima pointed out various locations and eventually she simply found herself chitchatting with Jakyr, "So how is it that you're related to Lord Koriyan yet you've never been to the city?" She glanced over at the Oban with slight interest, "It just seems odd that someone of nobility hasn't at least been here on occasion." The Matori raised a brow teasingly, "You aren't on the run from anyone are you?"

Jakyr let out a laugh before shaking his head, "Ah, no. I actually just happen to enjoy traveling. My mother was the family's wildcard so when she came of age she decided to go enjoy the world and hasn't really stopped travelling since. Her desire to rebel even led her to finding a simple man in Jantine to marry." The Oban shrugged, "Since it's near the water most of the family prefers to come to us. I don't think I have been to Sulburi since I was maybe eight or so."

"So basically a stranger then since so much has changed since then I'm sure." Arima twisted around a street corner and head uphill towards where a larger building loomed, "It's right up there by the way. We're close." As she spoke a crowd pulled around the two and Jakyr moved the girl out of the way of a racing child, "O-oh." Flushing lightly Arima moved away as soon as she could before continuing on.

Smiling Jakyr only shook his head before striding alongside the Matori, "What about you? Seems like you've been out of Sulburi for a while now. My uncle mentioned that you were assigned to an Outcast Unit? I mean, my apologies, some desert unit that is. If it weren't for the circumstances he would be gloating that he broke his pupil, but I had to wonder - how long were you planning on staying? Seems odd for someone, no offense, as delicate looking as you to be out there with a bunch of ruffians for a while." He glanced over at her in curiosity as they walked.

"Ruffians?" Arima shook her head quickly, "Honestly I think they were all nice in their own way. The desert isn't so bad either! As long as you know to avoid sandstorms..." Here her words faded a bit as memories came back and the girl's cheeks blushed even darker as she was tempted to touch her lips. Sandstorms then perhaps weren't the worst of things since that one at least had some special results. Smiling, Arima had to gather her thoughts once more before glancing over at Jakyr, "I'm sorry - what was I saying? Ah! Yes, I think your uncle would be surprised to realize that I was planning on staying there for a much longer time. If not for mother..." He gaze lowered as they paused to get a table and sat down together.

"It's alright Arima." Jakyr reached out a hand across the table to grab the Matori girl's fingers, "I shouldn't have reminded you. He wanted me to take you out of the house for some fresh air and I'm afraid I only brought things with us."

Arima offered him a small, albeit sad, smile. "It's not your fault. Even if we went to the new continent I would probably still be thinking of her." The Matori pulled her shoulders back in an attempt to appear brave, "So tea?"

"Certainly." As they ordered Jakyr frowned, "Is this a popular spot?" At Arima's baffled expression the man chuckled, "Sorry, but I feel as if I keep seeing some man following us. I noticed him when I pulled you away from that child. So he was there for a while, but I wanted to hope that perhaps he just truly wanted the same tea as us."

"You think someone was following us?" Arima voice was hushed, but before she could turn her gaze to glance behind her Jakyr reached out to touch her shoulders and keep her in place, "Ja-jakyr?" To anyone from afar it may have looked like a romantic moment, a kiss or even a hug perhaps.

"Shh. I could be wrong and the last thing I want is to make some poor man feel like we're scooping him out." Jakyr smiled at her before slowly pulling his hands from her shoulders, "Let's just enjoy our tea? I'm sure it's nothing and I didn't mean to alarm you."

Arima slowly nodded though her mind was racing. What could it be? Was someone just really wanting a cup of tea from this cafe? She wanted to turn around to get an idea of what was going on, but Jakyr was right. It was best to not cause a scene and to instead just focus on their conversation. If only she knew who was behind her then the girl probably would have been in a completely different mindset, but the person who she thought of would have been far away in the desert. As sad as the thought made her it was true. There was no way after all.

Saraf wasn't sure how long it was that he was following after the pair but he found himself getting more and more annoyed as he went. The guy seemed to be moving far too close to Arima, acting far too familiar with her, and making it seem more and more as though he was responsible for Arima leaving the Outcast Unit. Had the guy wanted her to leave behind the ne'er-do-wells that she was spending time with to instead spend time with him? It was beyond childish that he was upset by such a thought... as well as beyond childish that all he wanted to do was go over there and take her back.

It was an embarrassing thought, for someone his age to actually get in a scuffle over a woman. Especially if said woman wasn't even interested in him! He was doing his best not to get into random fights these days and yet here he was, following along after the pair like some sort of jilted lover. They had shared a kiss, one that was brought on by a challenge more then anything, so he really shouldn't be this bothered by all of this... and yet he was. Just as he was thinking that he really should just walk away the man was suddenly wrapping an arm around her to lead her along toward... well, wherever it was that they were heading.

As it happened Saraf's entire form went stock still... and then he was rushing blindly forward. No! He wasn't going to let some scrawny brat steal Arima away he found himself thinking as he closed the gap between the three of them. It was stupid, it was childish, and it was embarrassing, but he couldn't find the strength or desire to stop himself. Instead he continued his charge forward, reaching out to Arima to try to pull her away from the stranger... before throwing a punch at him along with the declaration of, "I won't let you have her!"

Flushing Arima nodded her head towards Jakyr. Surely it was nothing like he said. Who would even want to follow them out here? It wasn't like she had many connections in Oba nor would a thief be so bold in open daylight, right? Truly then it had to be nothing. But as soon as she thought that words were being shouted, she was being grabbed, and chaos ensued. I won't let you have her! Arima was too shocked at the declaration to register what was happening. As she found herself ripped away by familiar arms the girl's hands reached out to Jakyr. Not in an attempt to go into his arms, but rather to stop the punches that were being thrown. What in the world?! So not only had they been followed, but it was Saraf? Her gaze widened as she recognized the man almost instantly. How could she not considering how often he was on her mind even when she wasn't in the camp anymore?

But for the moment the shock kept her mouth from opening as she simply stared up at Saraf.

"Have her?" Jakyr's gaze widened as the punch came his way. Taking it in the chin due to surprise the man rubbed his jaw before preparing a punch of his own, "Look here buddy I don't know who you are, but I'm her escort and I'm telling you to let go of her now!" His gaze narrowed as he prepared a stance and Arima saw the flicker of runes in his fist. Oh no! But he was already moving forward as if to punch Saraf and grab Arima back.

By On'as what was this luck and timing? How had Saraf run into them in such an awkward predicament? I won't let you have her. Continued to ring through her mind -admittedly it made her somewhat giddy before she shook away the thoughts with a brilliant flush. This was not the time to be spazzing over such a declaration! Obviously he had the wrong idea and she was about to get caught in the middle of a nasty fight for it. But as magic swirled in the air around them Arima finally was moved into action. Raising her hands the girl let out a yell, something remarkably loud for her normal soft voice that echoed throughout the streets, "Stop fighting!" Vibrations broke through the air as she pushed the two men apart, "I'm fine, I'm fine. I know him, Jakyr."

At the declaration Jakyr lowered his hands and rose a brow, "Oh?" Still he couldn't help glaring towards the other man. It was obvious that he was trying to figure out the situation and was heavily judging Saraf.

Still, now that she was calming down from her joy at seeing Saraf the girl was getting heated, "Look here. Both of you stand down." She straightened her shoulders and glanced towards Jakyr, "How is your arm?"

"I'll manage, don't worry." The oban rubbed his shoulders as he stood there awkwardly watching. Truly he was confused. How did Arima know this man...unless, "Ah, the soldiers."

Arima nodded, "Jakyr this is Saraf and Saraf this is Jakyr who is my mentor's nephew." She emphasized the words, "Who you just punched in the face unfortunately." Her cheeks flushed, "Who you should apologize to since fighting is a horrible idea for a first impression. He was taking me out to tea to just chit-chat. Last time I checked I do not belong to anyone for the record as Jakyr is just a friend. If anything I should be more worried about him stealing you from me since he likes men, Saraf!" Her gaze was livid though her flush deepened at her somewhat of a declaration, "Sorry, Jakyr." She peeked towards the man as an after thought and smiled as he simply shrugged his shoulders, "As it is I suppose I should end our luncheon so I can talk to Saraf. Is that alright?"

Jakyr nodded, "Should I let my uncle know that you'll be gone for a bit?"

"Yes, please. If that's okay?" Finally Arima glanced towards Saraf - albeit a little sheepishly for losing her temper, but still! Not that she couldn't lie and say that didn't make her absolutely delighted that he would punch another man for her, but there were such things as manners!

Spotting the flickering of magic he found himself cursing under his breath about it having to be a magic wielding sort that he'd punched. Not as if that sort was about to partake in a fair fist fight, of that he was certain. As such he lifted his fists, preparing for whatever was thrown his way magic wise. He'd be likely to get hit but that wouldn't stop him from trying to fend this person off so that he wouldn't go off stealing Arima. He felt himself stepping forward, as though preparing for this fight... when Arima was sudden yelling at them to stop. Hearing the smaller woman actually raising her voice that much was enough to still Saraf.

"Arima...?" He blinked a couple times as he was told to 'stand down' which was an order his brain was used to given he'd served in the army since he was a prentice. As such the words caused him to lower his arms to his side for a moment before his body tensed up again, not certain if the mage would do the same. At the mention 'the soldiers' he found himself starring. Did the guy know of him? A strange thought indeed because why would Arima tell a potential date about the Outcast Unit? Surely working with such people wasn't something one would brag about?

"Huh?" Wait, what? Her mentor's nephew...? He turned to look over at the guy, sizing him up. So he... wasn't a potential suitor? He felt his cheeks flushing a touch at the thought, a flush that deepened as he was told that Arima did 'belong to anyone'. He shook his head, "I... apologize, Arima. I meant no offense I just thought... that he was maybe the reason you left." He hadn't really been told the reason why, just that she'd left while he was out fetching water with a couple others.

The more he listened the more he was given to be embarrassed and regretful over. It seemed the guy didn't even have any interest in women let along interest in Arima. Oops... Now he really and truly felt like a stupid prentice all over again.

Okay so maybe her temper subsided when she saw the flush on Saraf's cheeks. Just a little at least since it made her happy to see that he truly cared enough to do all of this. Even if it did cause a bit of a ruckus in a public space. The woman nodded her head, "Apology accepted though it should be towards Jakyr." She teased lightly before glancing towards the other man. She hoped Jakyr wasn't too angry with her. Not only had he been punched because of her but she had also declared some rather personal things about him in public. Thankfully though he seemed more amused than anything.

"I'll get going, Arima. Seems you two have a lot to catch up on." The noble gave her a knowing look before turning on his heel with a wave and heading down the street.

As Jakyr left the words that Saraf said registered with Arima, "Reason why I left? Oh, Saraf." Arima blinked and tilted her head, "Did you think I left the Outcast Unit to go on dates? I mean my mother probably would have loved for me to be doing that, but it's not so simple...still..." She raised a hand to hide her spreading smile, "You thought I was being courted just now so you attacked...oh my." She didn't want to laugh at him, she really didn't but the whole situation was making her head spin. With everything going on just seeing Saraf acting like this made her so giddy. It was like a breath of air after nearly drowning. So it was no surprise that a fit of giggles over came her as the whole scenario of what just happened settled in.

Still as she tried to stop herself the girl found her hand reaching out to touch his arm, "I'm sorry....I'm just...happy." She admitted sheepishly as she glanced up towards the man, "I didn't realize you cared so much." A flush decorated her cheeks as she wiped her eyes with her free hand, "I'm sorry to have worried you."

Saraf gave a little nod, glad that she'd accepted his apology but felt zero desire to give an apology to the one that he'd accused of trying to take Arima away. Even knowing that the one called Jakyr had no interest in women didn't really dissuade that part of him that had taken an instant dislike to the magic wielder. He knew it was childish of him but at the moment he didn't quite care. Likely because emotions were still running a bit high. It was only when the guy said that he'd get going that he felt himself relaxing a bit and he allowed his full attention to turned to Arima.

"Not dates per say... but perhaps another possible marriage interview?" It had happened at least once before that Saraf knew of after all, that being the meeting that both of their mothers had arranged for them. What was stopping Arima's mother from doing the same thing? Blinking a couple of times he found himself nodding, "Yes... I figured he was another possible suitor and I just... felt the urge to... chase him off." His words seemed to go from a normal tone of voice to a more muttered one, with him wincing a bit as he realized exactly how stupid he was acting. Nerad save him from acting in such a manner he thought to himself, lifting a hand to rub his temples for a moment.

His attention went back to Arima, his good eye focusing on her, and he found himself repeating after her, "Happy?" She was happy despite his foolish actions? It seemed as though him caring enough to punch her companion had made her... happy? He was certain that he would never understand women he thought to himself before he said, "Well... it's alright I just... thought that maybe my actions at the inn were partly to blame for your departure. As such I came looking for you when I finally got some leave only to... find you with that one and..." He waved a hand. She knew the rest after all, no need for him to explain his actions further since it was so embarrassing to even think about.

Arima glanced at Saraf warily. He wasn't about to still pummel Jakyr was he? Or was he quiet still because she had spoken too harshly? Good going Arima. He fought someone for you and then made him embarrassed about it. The petite Matori woman twisted her hands thoughtfully before he finally spoke to her, "So you really did think it was a marriage interview?" Arima bit her bottom lip thoughtfully though it quickly came across as another amused smile, "Why would that make you chase him off though?" She found herself teasing slightly, "Isn't it only fair for others to get a chance.. after all since you were once a marriage potential?"

She leaned towards him inquisitively, "Does this mean I shouldn't go on anymore dates in the future? You know though my mother is pretty determined. She wants to see me married by the end of this year so unless I found someone who wants to be with me...the dates are the best way to appease her." Arima blinked innocently at Saraf, "Is that okay with you? If I go on more to appease her that is? Though it wouldn't be good for my reputation if all of my dates got bashed on the streets..."

Arima raised her hand so that she could use her thumb and pointer finger to make a little measure motion, "Just a little." Her cheeks flushed with realization as this wasn't the first time the Oban had fought for her, "Seems like I got you into a fight once again." Though her flush deepened even more at the reminder of their time at the inn, "You thought that? No, no! I..." Here the teasing stopped and her gaze lowered sadly, "I received some rather disturbing news from home and had to leave in a rush. My mother was not doing the best and I had to be by her side. I meant to leave a note, but I was in such a hurry that it slipped my mind. My mentor was supposed to....oh." She pursed her lips in frustration, "He was supposed to send notice, but I'm sure it slipped his mind." That aggravating man! She both adored and loathed him at the same time some days! So Saraf hadn't realized...and he thought that she had left because of him? The girl let out a quiet laugh, "You think I would run away from you after all we'd been through? I would be more likely to think that you would say that you decided to move on without me...at least that was my worry being here these past couple of weeks...but instead you came looking for me..." The ending was a shy murmur as Arima found herself glancing away bashfully. Oiy. How did it go from her teasing him to suddenly she was the shy one again?

Saraf nodded, "I was a part of one of such interviews so I know that such things are definitely possible when one has parents like ours." He said with a shrug of one shoulder. It was just an assumption on his part it didn't mean that it wasn't something that had a chance of being true. As she asked him about why it made him want to chase Jakyr off he found himself shifting in place, a bit nervous to even consider the idea. It took him a moment to really wrap his head around it himself, the fact that he was... jealous.

Crossing his arms over his chest he glanced toward Arima, sizing her up, before he said, "I suppose that it it would be a bit rude of me to demand that you stop going on any and all future dates just because I got a bit jealous. If it will help to appease her then you should do what has to be done... well, if you want to." He had to admit at least that much to her, right? It was only fair that she knew what was going on his mind after he tried to knock her friend silly.

"Ahhh... yeah, I suppose that wouldn't be a good for you going forward it was I did that." Definitely something that he should avoid doing for Arima's sake.

As her disposition changed, with her explaining to him what actually happened he found himself filling with concern. Her mother wasn't well? So that was the reason that she'd come home? It wasn't anything to do him, wasn't to do with her going on more marriage interviews, it was nothing like that. Giving a glance around for a moment, making sure he hadn't drawn too much attention with his escapades, he turned back to Arima and said, "I'm sorry to hear about that... and I am sorry if I only added to your worries by acting in such an an immature fashion. Had I known I wouldn't have acted in such a way." What was it with him and being cursed with not getting letters that would make things a lot clearer and straight forward? A joke played on him by the Gods and Goddesses apparently.

Arima nodded, "It would just be a little bit, especially if you beat up all of my dates." She teased lightly, "And trust me if I could I would stop, but my mother needs something to appease her. She's so worried about me not having anyone once she pa-" Here her words stopped as something that Saraf said finally registered with the healer, "Je-jealous?" Her gaze lit up as she turned to stare at Saraf, "You're jealous?" She stood on her tiptoes so that she could poke his cheek lightly, "Is this a mirage or did Saraf just admit he was jealous...." Her own face flushed before she pulled away to raise a hand to cover a spreading smile, "I...I don't know what to say about that. Are you really?" If he was jealous then what did that mean?! Jealous that he couldn't bother her or oh! Maybe he was jealous that she was seeing such handsome men? Was that it? The teasing thought made her even more giddy since she knew it wasn't true. She was just...not expecting him to admit to being jealous.

If someone was jealous then what did that really mean? She had never had someone tell her anything like that before! Nor had she ever kissed anyone other than...well Saraf. Arima's cheeks flushed darker, "Maybe...maybe I don't need to go on matchmaking dates anymore then....I could just go on normal dates with a set person....if.....that was something they would like." She glanced away sheepishly as her words slipped lower and lower into a faint whisper.

At his apology the girl shook her head, "No-no! If anything seeing you has brightened my day. I truly needed it considering all that is going on." She twisted a curl of hair shyly, "And even if it was a bit immature the thought...well the reasoning behind it...was touching?" She smiled as she glanced towards him, "I suppose...now that we're both here we may as well spend time together so...what do we do?"

Saraf gave a bit of a shrug, looking away for a moment, and muttered, "So what if I was? It's only natural." As much as he hated to admit it he was jealous, greatly so, to the point that he'd taken a swing at the guy that Arima was in. It was foolishness but he hadn't been able to really ignore that desire... and even now, knowing all he knew, he didn't really feel all that bad about what he'd done. He'd thought that the guy was trying to take Arima away so what he did was only natural. At least only natural while he admitted that he was jealous and didn't want her to be with anyone but... him.

A thought that had him thinking a bit hard on the idea. He wanted Arima to stay with him? Not just as a healer though. It wasn't the Vice Captain part of himself talking, it wasn't because she was one of few that could deal with the Outcast Unit and didn't want to run away after a short stint with them. That was all good too but there was more to it then that. Something that actually made him flush a bit more. Shaking his head he said, "I know it's selfish of me... I mean I had my chance during our interview but I was more contrary then. I didn't want to just be with someone because my mother wanted it."

At the mention of them spending time together he turned to look over at her and said, "What do we do?" He thought on it a moment and then gave a bit of a chuckle and said, "Should we head to get that tea you were after with your friend? Or would you rather we go to a tavern for drinks?" He couldn't resist teasing her about that bit.

Arima rose a playful brow, "Only natural?" She bit her bottom lip thoughtfully as she stared over him. To be honest she was simply too delighted to stay still. On the inside the girl was dying of excitement and wanting to be shy at the same time, but she was trying her hardest to remain sly as she teased him, "You know most people are usually jealous whenever someone has something they want...so...in this case I can suppose that perhaps a certain soldier has something to confess...." She flushed lightly before glancing away, "Or I can be totally wrong and you don't have to say a word."

Her gaze did widen in surprise at his other confession, "Well who says there can only be one interview?" She finally replied quietly, "Not for our mothers, but to figure things out ourselves." The healer flushed as she twisted her fingers before her, "I'm not complaining after all if you would like to explore....that aspect of life with me." She was a tangled mess of emotions and thoughts. At any moment the healer was expecting to wake up back at home with a book in her hands. Surely this wasn't real? Saraf....was....and she....liked him back...oh gods have mercy. Her face would melt off at this rate!

At his question she fought to regain some control and pursed her lips thoughtfully, "Don't tempt me." She quipped back at his teasing, "I rather enjoy the image of a handsome man fighting for me." She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly, "But we could have some tea...I'm rather thirsty all of a sudden, but not here. There's another nice venue that overlooks the city. I've been wanting to go there if that's alright with you?"

Saraf gave a bit of a shrug, "After all we've been through I don't think a marriage interview is really needed... though spending more time with you that isn't related to the Outcast Unit would be more then welcome." An interview made it seem far too formal to him and he didn't want their out to be one that was stiff and solemn. He wanted the two of them actually some fun, to return to how they had been during their time together during the sand storm. It was stupid to think of such a precarious situation in a good light but it had been in some ways. Even if he did end up with a pile of punishments from Captain Jinx once he got back to camp.

Stretching out for a moment he then offered her an arm, "I'm fine with tea at this other venue. You will have to lead though. You might not know this about me but I am not exactly a purveyor of delicious tea and other sorts of fancy things. I will kind of need you to take point on this particular outing." If she wasn't all fancied up then they might actually be able to go to a tavern for drinks... in which case he could actually lead the way. As it were though he wasn't exactly prepared for any sort of leading role since he had no idea where it was Arima wanted to go.

"We will save tavern crawls for when you're dressed in a more casual manner and when I have my sword on me." He said, giving her a little wink.

Arima flushed, "So what does that mean you can just propose now?" She found herself teasing lightly, "I didn't realize we were dating this whole time. You really should inform me of these things." The Matori grinned before shaking her head, "I'm sorry I just...I can't help teasing." She bit her bottom lip sheepishly before reaching out to take his arm, "At least this time we know each other and don't have to awkwardly try to run away, I much prefer doing things this way. Marriage interviews were always so....formal and unwelcome." She admitted, "I don't understand mothers and why they insist upon them."

Her lips curling up as she let out a soft laugh Arima nodded, "Are you certain? I could only imagine you being the type to drink formally with a dainty china cup in your hand." Perhaps even flora pattern as well. Now that she was with him and the initial shock of seeing him and having him fight for her was fading the girl was feeling far more playful. Strange how quickly seeing just one person could make her mood so much lighter than before. It was a blessing in itself and she had to thank On'os for it. "I do enjoy this one place though it's not so fancy. It's just a simple shop on top of the hill so we can see the whole city. I used to go there when on errands for my mentor."

His next comment made her actually let loose a laugh, "Oh?" Arima's smile grew as she walked side by side with Saraf, "I will have to make certain to dress that way next time." She quipped lightly as her fingers curled around Saraf's arm, "We'll have to have at least one good brawl so I can get the full experience. Though I've never really...drank before. So I hope you go easy on me there." She winked as she walked next to him though her cheeks did flush. How would she even be if she drank? Arima could only imagine considering how the soldiers acted when they had quite a few drinks~! Now those had been some fun morning visits for her to experience as a healer in the camp!

As they turned and walked up a corner Arima pointed in a direction, "Up those stairs there....see that little building that's got some ornamentation along the roof?" She smiled, "That's the tea shop. They have a patio around the back and we can request seating there..."
