Name: Park Myungsoo

Nickname: Myung, Myungbean, M ( stage name )

Age: 25

Birthday: February 24

Sign: Pisces

Gemstone: Amethyst

Blood Type: AB+

Fav. Food: Bibimbap - made with spicy pork [x] , Kimchi [x] , Tteok-bokki [x] , and Instant Noodles [x].

Hated Food: Beef ( gives the poor guy stomach cramps and bad gas ), Cheese ( borderline lactose intolerant ), Pineapple ( it’s to tart for his taste buds to handle. )

School: Online University

Hobbies:

Online Gaming - Usually this is an activity he does alone when the other boys aren’t around, but when he does play his usual go-to games are League of Legends along with Blade and Soul. When the boys want to join in, he makes the switch to Overwatch. He makes time to game at least an hour everyday, making sure to keep his skills fresh and ready.

Calligraphy - Myungsoo takes pride in his word art, having won an award as a child in a school art fair. During his days a trainee, he took extra classes to learn new forms of calligraphy and keep this talent as a second nature. He often leaves notes in different types of writing for the boys, each one has their own special writing.

Virtues:

Prudence - Myungsoo is known for his ability to plan ahead, for many types of outcomes and situations. He is sure to always approach a situation with an open mind and critical thinking for any turn. Often counseling others and solving disputes.

Dependability - Myungsoo has developed a parental bond with the other boys in his group, becoming sort of a fatherly figure for them. With the parental status comes the want and need to stay open and ready for the others when he is needed. He is always the first to arrive at a call and one who will always be around for the boys. He always comes through and keeps his word. Minsoo is a different type to him, he sees the leader as a co-parent and treats him as such. He works with the leader to be a role model for the others, and stands right at his side no matter what.

Empathy - His star sign has given Myungsoo the unique ability to feel the raw emotions of others, and is even able to filter the negative into a positive for the other person. He often uses this trait to calm situations, or even people during different emotional stages. He takes a walk in their shoes to connect to their situation and soothe them.

Flaws:

Absent-Minded- Myungsoo has a wanderer's mind, he tends to not stay in one thought for to long and his thoughts curve into different directions seemingly out of nowhere most of the time. Most mistake this for a lack of listening skills, but it is purely due to an overactive and creative mindset.

Paranoid- Due to his former trainee and idol status, alongside the company he was contracted with, Myungsoo has developed a state of mind that there are more that 85% of people walked around him who are watching, stalking and calculating his every move. This developed due to crazed stalker fans in his home country.

Empathy - There is also a harder side to being able to filter negative emotions and energy. It happens often that instead of properly filtering the energy and emotions, Myungsoo becomes ‘clogged’ so to speak. His emotions take a nosedive, as well as his interactions with others. In short, his own unique ability backfires.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Chocolate Brown, Pumpkin Seed Shaped ( No Double Eye-lid Surgery)

Hair: Stark Black, shaved to long fuzz on right side with a full length on his left. [x] / Hair Stays the same in Powered form

Face: Big Ears, ( [x] - piercings on the shaved side. 7 in total. ) Soft jaw line- oval in shape, Slimmer Nose ( Forced into a Nose Reconstruction ), Plush lips with a gummy smile.

Knight Title: Silla [x], Page of Pluto

Challenge: For the Protection of Pluto!

Uniform: [x] The hair is to be completely ignored. It does not change from his Civ.

Top - Reference to picture
Bottoms -- [x] . - Tight black and white pinstripe.
Gloves -- [x] - Short, ends at wrists.
Belt -- Reference to picture.
Shoes -- [x]
Shoulders -- Reference to picture.
Accessories -- [ x] This piece goes on the shaved hair side of his head, and is floating from his energy. Without the clock in the middle, replace with a large gear.
[x] - Keep the same main headpiece from above, just add the extension for the scope in Knight stage.

Weapon & Magic

Page Weapon: The large headpiece that he wears, from the reference above, is several gears connected together with metal. It’s used as a weapon when he tries to attack his attacker, he has to spin the large gear in a certain direction to shoot a projectile small gear that is attached by a chain. It's only damage is from the speed at which it travels, so the damage of a small pebble. More often than not it comes back as a boomerang and hits himself instead. He is still tinkering with it.

Squire: The headpiece has now sprouted several gears that spin on their own along with the main large gear. He no longer has to manually turn the gear to get use out of it. Now that he is able to use magic, he channels energy into the headpiece and it slows time around with within a 10 foot radius for 30 seconds. Time normally runs for him still. At this stage he cannot target someone to use the ability on, it effects everyone. He still has the gear that shoots out of the headpiece itself, but still only the damage of a small pebble. The tinkering process is slowly getting better, at least the boomerang effect is less!

Knight Weapon: In this stage, the headpiece itself extends to an eyepiece, like a scope. No other gears add to the float around the main piece. At the side of the eye lense, there is a small dial to increase the target and pin his accuracy - He can now target his enemies. He slows time still at a ten foot radius but the duration is extended to 45 seconds. The tinkering is complete and the boomerang effect of the small shot gear is nonexistent! This component of his weapon is used largely for distraction or surprise, the damage is that of a medium rock.

Summons -- N/A

(sorry for the double quote, I only copied half of this from word doc the first time, oops!)

Hey, MLC!

Myungsoo seems like he’ll be a really fun character so I am excited to see how you play him! The civilian part of this profile looks great, but before I can stamp, there are two things I have to go over on the powered side! (I know this looks like a wall of text, but please don’t worry! I am just explaining things or giving suggestions!)

The first is the name, Silla; while it is an absolutely gorgeous name, Silla as a Dynasty is not valid, sorry! A Wonder needs to be a concrete location (either existing or mythological) but a dynasty is just a ruling family and would not technically count. While they did rule a large region called Silla, this area is too large to be a Knight Wonder (since it takes up a huge part of an entire country) and many ruling Dynasties had the same overlapping area. That being said, there are valid locations that use the name Silla, and you can use influence from the Silla Dynasty while describing your wonder or planning the character! There is one village that I found that existed over a thousand years ago, Silla, Mali, that would be valid—and there are a few mountains that have the word ‘silla’ in them (so he could ICly be addressed as ‘Silla’ even though his official name would be the full name of the mountain, but some of those are Silla Pata, Silla Qhata, and Cerro de la Silla, but there is also a hill called Silla de Paita (who I think you could quest for a just ‘Silla’ as an official name, since the other part is just ‘of paita’). There are a few others, but I found most of those just by looking here! If none of those interest you, though, I am afraid that you will have to pick a new name (but if you need any help, please just let me know and I’ll be happy to help!)

The second part is the magic you have written; you have a good start for the magic, but a little extra clarification on a few things will help! Having a concrete duration and radius is important (especially when you wind up in open role plays or large events!). For Squire, I think a 30 second duration and a ten foot radius is fair, and for Knight, I think a 45 second duration and a ten foot radius works! For the Knight stage magic, I think you could tweak the wording to say that he can choose all targets it affected within a ten foot radius (meaning he would not be affected, and anyone he deemed an ally would not be affected!).

However! There is one other thing about the power theme of the magic; the power theme of each Knight is different depending on what planet they serve. For example, the Power Theme of Chronos is Growth, Change, or Protection—so any magic of Chronos should in some way reflect at least one of these power themes! As it stands, the magic reads more like its only power theme is ‘Time’, which is a Power Theme of Pluto!

There are two ways to fix that—the first is, if you really like the magic as it is, you could change the entire planet to Pluto (but this would require some tweaks to the uniform) ; the second way to fix it is to either redo the magic with new effects or find a way to tie in a theme of Chronos, too! To do this, you would just need to find some way to include growth, change, or protection into the magic.

An example of this might be to say that while the magic is being channeled, it slows the enemy’s ability to react to changes in battle, making it feel like time is moving slower for them. Or, the magic could channel extra protection to himself (or allies) by allowing them to adapt to changes on the battlefield by slowing down enemies? If you can find a way to incorporate the themes of Chronos magic, I could definitely stamp this!

I am really sorry for the wall of text, though! Please quote me if you have any questions, comments, or make any changes and I’ll be back as soon as possible! (Or, if you want to go over anything, please feel free to PM me!)

Thank you so much for that, I appreciate the wall of text very much! This is my first time all around here and I want to be sure I can be as good as possible. Here I have changed the entire piece of his powered form, and decided that I would go with Pluto. I didn't even realize that Time lines up with that planet more, and it was a brain fart!

I also wanted to keep the same sort of concept of his power, but change it around a little. So I gave him a different type of weapon, along with an outfit change! I consider him more like a mage in a sense, because that would be his role in a team. Hopefully that makes sense to you!

I decided to take your suggestion on the wonder, I thought I had done enough research but again.. I was in the wrong part! Ahaha. Overlooking is sometimes a great strength and weakness.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to make this something that can be approved and played in the shop! I'm very excited and ready to go!

At least, here is the revamped Myungsoo Park!
( At least it's above. D: )

He looks awesome! I think most of that looks good but I do want to look at the weapon!

Knight weapons can only be a single item (insofar as, a single magical item is what will be what actually channels the magic), though there can be multiple aspects of it or accessories to match. For example, if a Knight had a glove for a weapon, they might have a matching glove on their other hand (for symmetry’s sake), but only one would actually be able to channel the magic.

In this instance, I think your weapon sounds neat, but I just wanted to double check what you had in mind for it!

I did immediately think of a bow and arrow (since it is launcher and projectile), but that would qualify as multiple weapons (since the bow would likely be the one to channel the magic, but the arrows would be accessories and not an actual part of the weapon). I know this might sound confusing, so if it does, please just let me know and I will be happy to try and explain it another way!

I think this weapon might work if you wanted to combine the small projectile large gear and the large gear that seems to actually channel his magic; if the small projectile was on a tiny chain attached to the large gear, it would count as only one item (and you could say that he could reel the tiny gear back in by twisting another gear or pressing a button, which could immediately make the tiny gear retract back into it’s shooting slot?). This way, it could also come back and hit him in the head like a boomerang, if the chain whips back and knocks him instead? (If that was something you wanted to play with! That’s not necessary!)

I think it would help to know how much damage it could do; at Page stage I think it would be fine if it could shoot out maybe five feet and do about as much damage as throwing a small pebble? (If only because page stage weapons are not very useful and are supposed to be weak!). At Squire stage, it could have a tiny ten foot change attached the small projectile and the larger gear (to match with the range of his magic) and could hit as hard as he could throw a small rock?)

If that isn’t what you had in mind or doesn’t work for you, please let me know and I am happy to brainstorm if you’d like!

(Also, I am sorry about the delay! I did not get the notification!)

This is actually what I had in mind for this! I am just bad at explaining it in that way, but you did it for me. xD I will update it by the time you read this. Sorry about the delay in reply. College kicks my butt. v.v
