When faced with the question of what she planned on doing when she got older, Marie had no difficulty providing an answer. Ever since she was little she knew she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a professional matchmaker. She was confident that she could read others well, and was currently in progress with trying to mentally match some of her classmates up with each other. It was all good fun and a stimulating challenge, especially for those that were harder to read. As her mother was known as one of the best (if not, the best) matchmakers in all of the Swirling Sands, Marie felt like she had some big shoes to fill. It's not that her mother was keeping any well kept tricks of the trade from her, as she had offered to be her mentor on more than one occasion. Marie wanted to find her own way and make the necessary mistakes in order to feel her way around the profession. Making a name for herself was important to her, and it would be an immense source of pride if she were able to say that she climbed her way to the top without using her mother's knowledge and experience as a shortcut or a leg up. The little white kitten knew that the road ahead of her would not be an easy one to travel, but she was determined to make it through. Soon she would have streams of Nightmares and Daydreams flocking to her for romantic guidance.
