This night really wasn't that different from any other night she was patrolling solo. Sedna zipped along building tops, sensed a chaos signature (except this time it was one that was on her level, so she needed to be more careful) and then made a beeline for it. More often than not it was a Negaverse agent being naughty and needed to be stopped! "Hey!" Sedna called out to the Chaos signature as she approached, immediately sliding into a reactive stance. "Stop whatever it is you're---" She choked on the rest of her words though, because after a moment she recognized the agent. It had been that one with the remote who had said it was attached to a bomb and then had disappeared on her. Worst: he had went up a power level. Even more worst: his weapon was probably a lot more dangerous now. That tended to be the trend with Negaverse agents. Sedna paled just a bit more than usual as she stared at Epidote with eyes that slowly widened in preemptive horror.

He'd felt the energy signature, but thought nothing of it. He was stronger now - things would avoid him more, right? Right??? Wrong. Why was he always wrong? He turned at the familiar voice, one blonde eyebrow rising as the familiar senshi appeared in front of him, clad in the naval attire he loved to loathe. If it wasn't the annoying girl from before... what was her name again? Oh right, it didn't matter. "Captain. I'd say it was good to see you, but I prefer not to lie directly to ladies' faces." He turned to face her full on, his arm moving out to expose the remote that was now attached to the back of his fist. He hadn't used it yet, but she didn't have to know that part. Sedna immediately tensed, and even her hands shot up in a reflexive defensive move in response to his arm. She stared at where the remote was now attached to his arm, and wondered what awful things would be achieved now. Hopefully nothing to do with bombs. Hopefully. "We don't need to turn violent here, friend---" She started, her tone lacking a fair amount of confidence as it turned a bit high pitched. "Just---please stop what you're doing, and move on for the night! If you don't---I'll be forced to stop you!" Ghouliboo YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL and so is Epidote : D

He stared at her for a moment before the edge of his mouth curved upwards. "Captain, you don't even know what I was doing." Taking another step closer, boots lined up with one another as his arm made a point of showing off the upgraded weapon. "As a matter of fact - I was doing nothing at all. So maybe I'll heed your advice and stop doing nothing and start paying attention to the likes of you. How about that?" His other hand moved up to rest on the gauntlet, doing his very best to look intimidating. He might not have a fancy Captain's hat but he sure as heck was gonna try to look badass.

"It uh---" She took a cautious step back in response to him moving forward, eyes glued to the remote that was attached to his glove. "Doesn't really take a rocket scientist to figure out you'd be...up to no good eventually!" Oops. Had she picked a fight preemptively? She tried so hard when they were in the middle of doing something, but...well...he would have eventually right? After all, as much as she wished one night of interruption would change an Negaverse agent's mind it...probably wasn't realistic. Probably. "I think---it sounds good!" Sedna replied, trying to put some bravado into her voice despite the apprehension she felt. The suspense was killer. What was his weapon going to do now!? "It's about time you actually tussled with someone who can actually fight back!" Sort of. She was hesitant to act though, until she knew what that gauntlet would do. A bit of thinking, for once. It came out on occasion.

He grinned at that, taking a step forward as one hand rested on the gauntlet. Maybe if he took it off, he could threaten her with an explosion again - it worked once, right? Who was to say it couldn't again! Fingers grazed the knuckles of the weapon, the Captain toying with both the remote and the figurative prey in front of him. It was time to show her what this baby really could do and he was ready to-- SCHTIIIIIICK. A smooth, silver blade shot out from his weapon as fingers toyed a little too much pressure on the giant red button. The dagger was quick to connect with the other hand that rested on the weapon, ripping through both glove and flesh within a split second. His eyes widened in horror as he realized what he'd just done. Eyes looked down at the hand that still clung to his weapon, which by the mere grace of something or someone looking out for him, hadn't downright impaled his other hand. Instead, the blade had slid across the skin, tearing into the first layer on the way out. A healthy amount of blood now clung to the blade, as well as began dripping down from his uniform and glove. On reflection, he probably could have made it look like he was one of those crazy badass villains from the movies. Epidote, on the other hand, was a bit too startled and shocked to take advantage of his error, choosing instead to bellow out a loud and unmistakable, "<******** class="quote"> Lucyal And that's when everything went to hell.

Sedna visibly tensed as the Captain pushed a button, and she was pretty sure something awful was going to follow. Like possible death. If Captain Pointy Knives was any indication of what Captains were packing, then seriously--- The super senshi nearly leapt out of her skin as Epidote all but bellowed, and her eyes went comically wide as she stared at the captain. The captain who had apparently...cut his own hand on his weapon? Sedna stared and felt rather dumbfounded. She looked at him, she looked at the blade, and then she looked at the blood. She then asked the question that was always asked, the time honored question that was always asked, even when the answer was obviously no. "A-are you okay?" She squeaked, deep down knowing she shouldn't really care, right? Because this Captain did really naughty things.

"W-Wha...." He couldn't decide which was more important, staring at the senshi standing in front of him with wide eyes or staring at the massive amount of blood that was gushing out of his wrist. He opted for the wrist. " WHAT DO YOU THINK???" Epidote had never been injured, outside of sibling spats with his sister and that one time when a senshi had kicked him in his stomach. While the actual pain was far less than when he'd once closed the door on his entire hand, the fact that more than just a trickle of blood was coming out meant that this was a Huge Deal. It didn't matter that the amount of blood only looked like a lot because he was swinging his arms around frantically - that wasn't the point at all. His arm was jerked forward, the blood splattering in all directions with the exaggerated swings. He was angry, he was in shock, he was dramatic as he shoved his arm in front of the senshi's face. "Look what you made me do." Lucyal you know, one day we might have a battle that actually becomes halfway serious. maybe.

Sedna cringed, from both the tone of his voice and the fact that she asked that question. It was an awful knee jerk reflext to ask. She felt awfully baffled though. Surely she should be taking advantage of him in his uh...injured...state currently to chase him off for the night. He was just such in a panic though...it just...didn't feel right. Hnngh. The senshi cringed again, deeper, as he waved his arm right in front of her face, and leaned back away from the arm. She eyed some blood droplets going this way and that, and her lips twisted. "Well---um---" Sedna paused for a moment. "That wasn't my fault...it really wasn't! It seemed like you were trying to work with something...hey wait...did you even know how to use it? You should really practice before you go out at night, yanno!" That's right. This senshi was going to tell him how to do his job. Sedna looked rather conflicted for a good long moment, and her lips twisted more. After another moment, she reached down for her sash and pushed off the silver emblem keeping it pinned. It pinged on the ground as she pulled it from around herself. Sedna took advantage of the Captain waving his arm around in her face and she caught his hurt wrist in it. Using her life experience growing up on a ranch, she made quick work of turning that sash into something of a tourniquet---well, at least it'd catch the...small amount of bleeding. She then stepped back, just enough so that he couldn't suddenly plunge a hand into her chest. "So uh...does this mean you're done being naughty for the night?" She asked, hopefully. "You should go home and really get that taken care of!" Ghouliboo Maybe one day...but it's definitely not today rofl

Saying nothing, he managed to stop his thrashing around as she stepped forward and pulled her sash out. In a matter of moments, she was doing her best to stop the bleeding and the blonde Negaverse Captain paused to stare at her. She was being nice and that was suspicious. He at least waited until AFTER she'd bandaged his wrist to let out a disgruntled snort, eyes still glaring at the Captain and all of her hat-adorned glory. "I'll go home when I feel like it." Epidote wasn't proud of what he did next, but the young man reached out to do the only thing he could to "get back" at the senshi who'd made him look like a fool. Using both hands towards her perfectly padded, Captain shoulders, he shoved her. Not allowing her time to fight back against his playground, bully-like behavior, Epidote summoned the remaining strength he had in him after such a traumatic experience and teleported away, disappearing into the night. Probably to go home and whine to his older sister. Probably.

Oh no. She had been afraid of this--- Oh wait. Sedna stumbled back, of course, not expecting to be shoved like she was back in grade school of all things. It took her a few steps and moments to get her feet back underneath her again after the uh...'attack' (and hey, he didn't even drain any energy from her). Sedna stared at where the Captain had been, once again, baffled. After she came back to her senses, she did the responsible thing and took a sweep of the area, just in case. Everything appeared to be alright though, and she hadn't spotted him again, so the night was safe from him. Just tonight, anyways. Ghouliboo THANK YOU <3 This was a riot, and I also believe it's a wrap : D
