It took a while for Cider to really realize why she wasn’t happy at the academy…and when the thought finally occurred to her, it was a rather troublesome one. She was lonely. Even with two siblings here…she was just…lonely.
She needed a friend.
But…but. The issue there was talking to someone long enough to make friends. It wasn’t that the young hybrid didn’t like other people…it was just…that she was really, really shy. And didn’t like…well. People.
If only she could pull a friend from out of a book, now that would be amazing.
Slowly, Cider looked around, trying to see if there was someone around who she might be able to befriend and ease this loneliness…and her eyes landed on very pretty purple hair, and drawing in a breath, she marched over. “Hi…I…like your hair…and your ears…I’m Cider…”
That was as good of an introduction as any, right? It would have to do.

Did she mind people? No, not really. People were just. Um. Weird sometimes. That was really the only way Reina knew how to talk about it. She was pretty new to the Academy, over in the Eldritch house, and well. It seemed cool?
But she wasn't sure what there was to do yet. And that was kinda a problem.
She fidgeted a bit as she stood about, peering out from under her bright bangs, dark ears flicking and popping up at attention when the sound of footsteps caught her attention. The Grimm stared a bit at the other youngster, eyeing their horns, large floppy ears, and smokey stuff that drifted off their limbs. Slowly, her tail began to wag a little, a nervous, albeit bright, smile flickering on her lips.
"Really..? T-thanks! I um." She wavered, her claws rubbing over her upper arm anxiously. "I like your ears, too, and um, your smoke... stuff. Your hair is really pretty! Mine's just straight, and doesn't curl at all." She shook her head, the neon bob flopping around her face as she looked back to them. "I'm Reina, nice to meet you, Cider!"

Cider couldn’t help the smile that curled her lips, so often she was frowning…but this wasn’t one of those times! She seemed so…so nice!
“You…you’re a Grimm, right?” She hoped that she was right with that assumption, she thought she was at least a little proficient in the races that inhabited the Academy…she did like to research things, after all.
“I’m…I’m a hybrid…my mom…my one mommy is a Geist, and my other mommy is…well she’s super pretty! She’s a whole lot of things, just like I am!” Her eyes lit up at the thought of her mothers, and then she looked almost sad, giving a sigh. “I miss them a lot…but I like it here…I think I’m just lonely. My siblings are here too but…but…”
Cider swallowed, shrugging, her ears drooping just slightly. “I don’t know. I just want a friend. I think. I think that would make me happier…do…would you want to be friends maybe?”
