Lately, it seems as though nobody, not even Jamesina herself seems to know who she is. Before she went on her quest, she was an outgoing, yet reserved young lady who was full of ambition. She was known for her creativity and empathy. Now that Jamesina has begun healing from the effects from her quest, she's almost a shell of her former self. She's full of regret for things that she did while under the influence of the Ring. She has trouble connecting with other people, and seems to be more in tune with herself. She's far less willing to show any signs of creativity, but occasionally she has moments where her past self comes through.

tab ◢ CHILDHOOD:
Jamesina was born in Iverness, Scotland to two Ravenclaw alumns and grew up with her younger sister, Akira, right by her side. The two loved hanging out in their parents' library, reading books, though James would almost always prefer reading outside in a tree.

tab ◢ SCHOOL YEARS:
At the age of eleven, James started attending Hogwarts, where she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Of course, that really didn't come as a surprise to her or her family. A year later, her sister, Akira joined her at Hogwarts, and was also sorted into Ravenclaw.

James became quite involved during her time at Hogwarts. During one of her younger years, James was asked to join a secret club known as the Chimeras. The idea was started by an older Slytherin who wanted to promote house unity, and also have a bunch of vigilante students. Of course, having young people thinking they're ready to take on the world isn't always the best idea, as James found out in her third year. A couple of students had been kidnapped by a group known only as The Family, and the Chimeras decided to do something about it. Of course, they had no idea what they were doing. James swears that they wouldn't have made it out alive if it weren't for assistance from the centaurs, werewolves, and vampires.

Despite the grounding she received for being so reckless, James was able to start up the school newspaper, The Daily Dragon. The following year, she was made prefect, though that wasn't the most interesting thing that happened. Students and professors kept falling asleep, and nobody could figure out why. Being a journalist, and a prefect, James decided to look into it. That also didn't turn out too well for her.

One night, out in the courtyard, James and Akira spotted a strange figuring drawing something in the dirt. He spotted them, and ended up kidnapping them and bringing them to an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere where they were tortured and had their wands snapped. In that time, James nearly died after the woman behind the curse that was falling on Hogwarts carved the runes for the spell into Akira's back. They were saved that summer thanks to Akira's boyfriend, Zephyr Bearach.

Upon returning to Hogwarts, with a brand new wand, James was required to repeat her fifth year, delaying her graduation by a year. She was allowed to continue being a prefect, and the rest of her time at Hogwarts passed without incident.

tab ◢ POST-GRADUATION:
After graduation, James went into doing research. Akira had never fully recovered from having the runes carved into her back, and so James wanted to do something to help her. Eventually, she found a possible solution: The Ring of Iknir. James then created an expedition into the Amazon in order to find it. However, her research wasn't quite complete, and the Ring ended up possessing James' mind, turning her into a Dark Wizard, and forcing her to keep her distance from her family.

In that time, Akira and Zephyr got married. Zephyr, now a vampire, discovered his power was perfect to help Akira recover from the nightmares she was having. The two of them grew concerned, and searched for any sign of James. Eventually, they found her, and helped her to become free of the Ring's influence. She keeps it locked in a box protected by wards, and buried in a place only known to Akira and Zephyr.

Now, James is trying to recover and lead her own life.

Akira has always been the quieter of the Machlachlan sisters. She would much rather know the theory of things than actually go do things. She cares deeply about other people, and gets quite attached to them. Akira is generally polite, but has a stubborn streak that shows when she desperately wants something.

In her third year, Akira helped to create The Daily Dragon with her sister. The following year, her dedication to being a good journalist actually ended up getting her into quite a bit of trouble. When investigating a serious of mysterious circumstances at Hogwarts, Akira and her sister actually ended up being kidnapped and tortured. James almost died when one of their kidnappers sought to place her under the same curse that had been placed on the rest of the school. Luckily, Zephyr Bearach, Akira's boyfriend, came to rescue them. Unfortunately, he nearly died, and became a vampire as a result.

When she returned to school, Akira was made a prefect and was able to progress in year. However, she couldn't just return to life as normal. Due to the runes that were carved in her back, Akira was plagued by terrible nightmares that were causing her to slowly lose her sanity. She managed to burry herself in her schoolwork, and graduate from Hogwarts.

Eventually, James went off to try to find a cure that she had read about. In the time that she was gone, this journey no longer became necessary, as Zephyr finally uncovered his vampire power, which helped Akira to recover. However, with no way to get in touch with her, James kept looking.

Eventually, Akira and Zephyr got married and decided to find James. They found her, and helped her to free herself from the Ring of Iknir. They're now trying to help her get back on her feet.

tab ◢ PERSONALITY
Zane has gotten pretty good at projecting the idea that he's confident. He has to, he's the leader of a clan after all. On the inside, he's a swirling storm of emotions. He still struggles with the ghosts of his past, even though he knows that they're far enough behind him to not be a problem. Because of this, Zane always tries to plan ahead, just so he's never caught off-guard. He feels as though being a clan leader is one of the greatest responsibilities he could have, and so he is fiercely loyal and supportive of anyone who joins. Of course, this can be a difficult thing to do, as Zane does not give his trust to just anyone.

tab ◢ CHILDHOOD: Zane was a triplet born in Coventry to the man who was once captain of the Irish Quidditch team and his wife. He was the only boy in the set, but that didn't bother him. They all played together and were quite close. Zane even played piano for the longest time. He wishes that he hadn't stopped.

tab ◢ SCHOOL YEARS: At Hogwarts, the Acacia triplets were split up. Zane ended up being sorted into Ravenclaw with his sister Erianthe, while their other sister, Jasmine, was sorted into Slytherin. If you ask Zane, that's where everything went wrong. It was there that he met another Ravenclaw named Roi.

Roi had seemed nice enough, and so he and Zane became quick friends. What Zane didn't know, was that Roi wasn't exactly who he said he was. During Zane's third year, he finally figured out that everything that he had done with Roi was wrong. In the end, Roi turned out to be possessed, and Zane ended up killing Erianthe.

Panicked, Zane took off into the Forbidden Forest where he was soon found by a herd of centaurs. Figuring that would end no better than aurors finding him, Zane was quite relieved when a vampire named Strike came along. Strike offered to change Zane, and not seeing much of a choice, the boy agreed.

tab ◢ POST-HOGWARTS: Zane never finished receiving his education at Hogwarts. However, being a Ravenclaw, He never stopped learning. He learned about vampires from Strike, or at least as much as he could, as Strike had long been on his own by the time he found Zane. He bought books and read as he traveled.

Eventually, Strike decided to set up a base for their clan in the Shrieking Shack. Things were quiet there for a while. Zane got used to his new life, and nobody came looking for him.

But then things changed. Jack, another one of Strike's fledglings had been kidnapped by a group of crazed wizards known as The Family. Obviously, this didn't set well with Strike, and so the clan tracked them down. Jack was rescued, but as a result of what happened, Strike needed to go to a vampire council meeting.

Surprisingly, Strike left Zane in charge. At first, he wasn't sure what to do. He was still a kid. He hadn't even discovered his power, and he still wasn't completely certain that everyone had forgotten that he had killed his sister.

Things went well, that is, until Jasmine showed up in Hogsmeade and actually saw Zane. She confronted him, but let him be. It was on this night that Zane discovered his power: invisibility. Zane, now known as Phantom, was now a full vampire.

He has since added quite a few fledglings of his own to the clan, and no longer worries about being a terrible clan leader. He fell in love with a Japanese seer named Yamato. Zane fell so much in love, that he was terrified that Yama would see the surprise he had planned. Luckily, he didn't, and Zane was actually able to propose without him knowing. The two are now happily married.
