Physical Description:
Adairan is a tall and lanky young man, towering over most people around him at his full height of 6'6". He tend to slouch as much as possible, doing his best not to draw attention to himself. His limbs are almost too long for him, especially his legs which make up nearly half his height. His skin is pale and prone to burning under intense sunlight, and covered in a fair amount of freckles, especially on his face. His eyes are a pale green, and almost too large for his face, with thin lips that are almost always in a perpetual frown. His hair is a bright near orange shade, shaggy and framing his face, constantly getting in his eyes.
Personality:
Adairan is loyal; to family, to friends and to his Weyr. Nothing can shake his belief in those he places his faith in. Of course this leads to him being easily deceived. If you can earn his trust, he's willing to believe anything you say. He can even take what was meant to be a joke as a serious statement. His loyalty for people seems to spread into everything he does. He takes tasks that he's given very seriously and give it his all no matter how small. A job is never done right unless it's done with 100% of his attention and commitment. He's hardworking and dependable, but it's often foiled by his clumsiness. He could trip and break his own nose from a sitting position. He tries so hard, but his long unwieldy limbs just get in his way no matter what.
Adairan is also a very sympathetic young man. His looks and klutziness led to him being teased a lot in his younger years, and he remembers how important it was to have someone on his side or to make him feel better. He tries to mindful of how people around him feel, and does his best to help cheer them up if they are sad or talk them through whatever might be frustrating them. If you have something bothering you, Adairan is the guy to go to. He's also a little indecisive, it's hard to pick one path or the other when both have so many possible merits. And what if he hurts someones feelings by the decision he makes?

History:
Adairan was born to rider parents and raised a weyrbrat with his sister Aliane. He has no idea who his parents are, nor does he desire to. He's happy with his life as it is, though he dreams of being a rider like all little boys do. His younger years were fairly uneventful. He was teased for his looks and constant bumbling, but what child isn't picked on when they're young? While the teasing and bullying hurt, it had no real lasting effects, and no one person stands out in his mind if asked who his biggest abuser was. In fact to date Adaian has no deep or meaningful connections to anyone beyond his sister or the woman who fostered them once they were out of the creche. Aliane is his dearest treasure. She's always been there to help him through whatever might be bothering him or dragging him down. He spent much of his free time when younger finding ways to try and make himself useful, fumbling and breaking things and generally getting himself chased off from whatever he had been trying to help with. To this day he's watched like a hawk by the drudges whenever its his turn for kitchen chores. His uneven proportions made him a walking disaster until he turned to learning the secrets of Tannercraft. Finally something that his long limbs and gangliness couldn't mess up for him. He happily threw himself into his apprenticeship under the tanners in the weyr, glad to be of use to the people he admired, the riders of High Reaches. Though he may have the talent for it he's put off walking the tables to become Journeyman until after he's aged out of being a candidate. While the return of thread has him scared to his core, being raised in High Reaches has instilled a deep moral in him that if he were to Impress that it is his duty to fight the damn thing or die in the attempt. After all, what are dragon men & women for if not to protect Pern?
