"Alright!" Peyton declared as they returned to the training field after a quick snack break. "No holding back, got it? I wanna see how you handle your weapon, then we'll figure out how to proceed from there."

A flash of red, and the duel daggers appeared in the petite Sun's hands. She'd start out on defense, to get a handle on the way Kai moved, and how he used Fin. It'd make it easier to figure out the most effective fighting style for the big man.

Sinking into a ready crouch, she made a come-at-me gesture with one hand, grinning. "Let's do it!"

Head tiling thoughtfully to one side, Peyton observed as he summoned, struggled to get a good grip on Fin, and then lost it.

"What if..." She hummed, contemplating. "What if you wrap your hand around it so the little fin part on the handle goes between your fingers? It looks like there's more room up there."

He adjusted his grip and Peyton grinned at him as she slid her feet apart for better balance. Hands up and read to defend. "Show me what you've got! I was born ready."
