- Energetic Erryn is an incredible bundle of energy. She's always doing something or talking to someone or even both. There's no stopping her from being the active and outgoing person she is for long.
Cheerful Along with her liveliness, Erryn is a very cheerful person. If nothing is wrong, she always has a smile on her face and is usually always laughing. Not only that, but she's very optimistic, always wanting to believe things are going to be okay. Her cheerfulness is usually enough to make any room a little brighter.
Confident Her confidence in herself is a bit of a vain thing. Erryn knows she's not always right, but she is entirely certain of her own skills and what she's able to do. There's no lack of self-assurance when it comes to her. If she thinks she can do something, no doubt will cloud her mind.
Strong-Willed Erryn is someone who will do what she wants, even if someone advises her to do otherwise. Once her mind is made up, very few can change it. This makes her a pretty stubborn person, especially during a confrontation.
Protective By her very nature, Erryn is a protective person of those she cares about. She's not much of a fighter, of course, so she tends to use her words to express her concerns if she thinks someone is in trouble. Erryn is known to be particularly protective of quiet and shy entities, even if they're older than her, likely due to their proneness to being bullied.
Intelligent Her people may reject the idea that a free spirit can be smart and her teachers may accuse her of cheating, but Erryn is actually very intelligent. Every test she's passed is because she really does pay attention. She can solve advanced mathematical problems professors have trouble with and once she sees what a machine can do, she's quick to catch on to how it works. However, she doesn't often use her brainpower the way she should because she believes strongly that intelligence can be a poison if people rely on it too much.

- Erryn was born in Namai, a country not like the regions. Settled on a far-off land, Namai consists of one massive city walled off from the world. For as long as anyone can remember, it has always been a nation of oppression and dictatorship where individualism and creativity are strongly discouraged; things like art and music are deemed useless. Laws are enforced through any means necessary and rebellion is intolerable. In Namai, the only focus should be to contribute to the country's prosperity; even if it's a small contribution such as doing well in regards to academics. The country is well-known for this strict lifestyle.
Despite the oppression, however, Erryn has managed to shine through it. Her peers were raised in strict households with tight schedules, but Erryn was gifted with parents that supported her immense creativity. While other kids focused on their academics and following regulation, she focused on things like art and adventure. Other parents ridiculed hers for allowing their daughter to have such a free sprit and warned their own children to stay away from her. To them, Erryn was improper; broken in some way, like a machine with a malfunction. Academy instructors attempted to fix her, going so far as to file a report to social services to try and rescue her from the household they believed would doom her to a life of failure. Erryn hated being told there was something wrong with her at first, but learned to let it go because she knew her parents thought she was perfect.
Erryn's obsession with Pokémon started when she was six, when she came across a picture book filled with photographs of strange animals. These animals, as her mother told her, were called Pokémon. They existed on Namai a long time ago before they were hunted to extinction after something caused them to turn feral. Her mother only knew about them because her brother lived in a place where they were still abundant and he sent her pictures of any new species he comes across. Erryn decided then and there that she was going to leave Namai and make friends with Pokémon like her uncle, but that was one thing her parents couldn't support. Leaving Namai was against the law unless it was for trading purposes; and, her parents simply weren't willing to lose her. That almost seemed like the end of Erryn's dream, but then a miracle happened.
Two years ago, Erryn met a Celebi. The encounter was completely random, Celebi appearing out of nowhere in front of her while she was vacationing with her parents outside the city walls. It wasn't in her mother's book, but Erryn knew immediately that she was looking at a Pokémon; and, she wasted no time trying to befriend it. She and Celebi grew close whenever it would visit her, and it was Celebi that gave her dream new hope. When she told it that she wanted to leave Namai and meet different Pokémon and see other lands, Celebi told her it could take her to where she wanted to go. Erryn was ecstatic, making Celebi swear it'd help her.
She just wishes Celebi had told her "where" meant "when". She wasn't prepared for the leap that would land her in a time before she was even born. But, an adventure is an adventure, and what's more exciting than exploring a world in a time previously lost to her?

The large pocket watch she wears around her neck is actually a holographic recording device that she's packed full of recordings of her parents.
Erryn wants to be chancellor so she can make things easier in Namai, and work to eliminate the oppression.
Erryn can identify a total of 50 Pokémon thanks to her mother's book, including 5 different variants of Vivillon. Beyond that, she's an empty cup.
Even though she chooses not to show off her intelligence, Erryn does tend to fall into it naturally if she's curious or focused on something. Sometimes people can catch her wondering aloud and using words or terms most ten-year-olds don't.
