The midafternoon sun betrayed how late it was when Mioyo was out hunting. While planning to take Ifa to meet her granddaughter, the lioness knew it was important to actually eat dinner -- breakfast -- get food in her, and so she was out. Golden rays danced in the grass, creating striped shadows even on her red pelt, giving Miyo a look much like a striped cat. A butterfyly flew by dancing from flower to flower, and Mioyo watched a herd of gazelle silently, waiting for food to show itself in the form of a too-slow fawn, or perhaps an injured or weak beast... Maybe even a suicidal one? Who knew. Finally, she spied it. A lone gazelle moving away, hooves delicately crossing the grass, almost not touching it, and Mioyo shifted, preparing to lunge, to pounce for a clean kill when something soft sounded behind her. Mioyo glanced back to see what was coming, when a rustle of grass made her look back, seeing her prize gone. Making a frustrated noise, the lioness tutrned, and spied a much younger male watching, eyes wide as he blinked.

Behind him, a sound drew Mioyo's ears before a zebra was dropped. It had been eaten at by two lions visibly, and Mioyo raised one brow until a white and brown female approached, smiling peacefully.

"Hello, Grandmother."

Miira's greeting was warm -- awestruck, but not wholly surprised. Admittedly, the lioness had forseen it.... But thought it a dream. Mioyo smiled, settling and nodding with a smile.

"Hello, Miira." Her tone was warm, and the male at Miira's side tilted her head, before shrugging. Mioyo watched him, and Miira beamned, nodding.

"This is my son. Shido. Shido, your great grandmother."

Shido, now properly introduced, bowed his head, before nodding towards Mioyo, looking to his mother curiously.

"Shouldn't she be decrepit? Or dead?" He asked. Mioyo blinked, Miira horrified before the former leader beamed, nodding.

"You might think, but no, not at all dear." Mioyo laughed, and nodded, moving to paw at her grandson gently, Miira looking relieved. Shido looked utterly embarressed, smiling and looking down as he did so, and fidgeted, nodding again as Miira looked to Mioyo, nudging the zebra to her invitingly. Now knowing the hunter, Mioyo dug in, grateful for the meal.

"I won't ask why, Grandmother, but.... More... What brings you here?" Miira asked. Mioyo swallowed a moment, and nodded to her, sighing.

"A pride I went to with Shu--Shiva was seperated... I knew there may be something here, still, and brought some of them with me. As for today... Aside hunting, I've someone for you to meet." Mioyo licked her chops, Miira tilting her head thoughtfully, then nodded.

"Then it was a long vision yesterday. Or several." Miira seemed thoughtful, Shido blinking and nosing his mother as Mioyo blinked to eat and stare in confusion. There were no words, however; Miira simply let Mioyo eat several moments before nodding when she finished to Shido, the male settling as Miira finally -- at last -- spoke.

"I saw a female coming saying she could finsh... My little Damla." Miira said softly. "Is it true? Did you find someone capable?" Miira asked. Mioyo was silent, then sighed, looking Miira in the eye softly.

"I can't promise she can -- only she wants to try. Her name is Ifa -- she doesn't know what Damla looks like, though. She never met her, simply..."

Miira smiled, interrupting with a gentle headbutt.

"I can tell her, mother. And... She'll be able. I think?" Miira shrugged. Mioyo sighed, nodding.

"I hope for your sake, but the rogue lands are dangerous. Who knows what Damla grew up like, as well. She could be my size, and aggressive, and end up hurting her, or..." Miuoyo frowned, Shido shifting.

"We can form a search party!" Shido noted. Miira nodded, smiling softly before nodding.

"He's right. We can ask Primitus. He's been among the demons -- surely he can persuade some to help your friend look. And who knows? You could be helping friendships form, or more."

Miira's positivity was... Surprising to Mioyo. Was this the sad cub she'd known so long ago? Was this the same girl who, just as she found joy, lost it with her daughter?

It seemed more... Akin to the notion Miira had good visions. Was this tied now to her son? Mioyo pondered over this, Shido looking to his mother before raising a poaw.

"Mother, if we learn what Dammy looks like... May I help find my half-sister to bring her home?" The male asked gently. "I'd love to meet another sibling."

Miira blinked, thinking before nodding warmly.

"Yes. I can find your sister -- give her a bit of social time, see how she is. But first we shoulhould find you and this Ifa lady a companion to travel with, alright?" Miira smiled, and Shido nodded, lowering his paw as he stretched. Mioyo glanced to her grandchild, the lioness smiling as she motioned to Shido, an expression of releif on her face as she nodded, indicating the direction of the demon's pride land proper.

"When the demons begin waking, we can go in. There's enough family there ought to be no issues getting help." Miira noted, and Mioyo nodded, before motioning.

"And until then?" She asked. Miira grinned, r,potioning for Mioyo to lead a path.

"Let's meet this friend of yours." She crooned."

Mioyo nodded, and turned, sighing as she thought, beginning for Ifa. Miira... She'd grown so positive, and it was a good sign -- a sign indeed that Miira may yet have hope to finally be happy in the world, and Mioyo finally wondered if the demons would help look for Damla indeed -- and if so, who would go. It was a slightly daunting thought, but one that was slightly hopeful, and Mioyo smiled, looking back and flicking her tail for Miira and Shido to follow her. The No.... No now was no time for deep thought. Mioyo had lions to introduce, and the trio moved through sunbeams and grass alike silently, minus the whispers of glass blades.
