He hadn’t moved in yet but he did have a key to Caleb’s place, and he had put it to use for the first time today. The other hadn’t answered his door when Xi-Wang had turned up looking to spend time together, and maybe take a nice nap at the others place. Caleb’s place was much more comfortable than his own, something he had mentioned once to the other, before leaving the others home the last time he was here.
So earlier in the day, tired and not wanting to sleep where he was staying, he had gathered up his bedding, a pillow and a plushie and headed, via cab, for the others apartment. Finding Caleb not to be home he put his key to use and let himself in and promptly made himself at home in the others bed, under a mountain of blankets.
Nice and warm, his only his head partially peeking out, the teen was comfortably sleeping; something he’d been doing for hours now. Under the blankets, of which there were six, his arms were wrapped about a plush and keeping it close to himself. Loose, low hanging, pajama bottoms and a shirt that was long sleeved and covered most of his hands even.

When Caleb finally made it home he was more tired than he had ever felt in his life. All he wanted to do was get in, clean up the blood from his arm and get it wrapped up and go die in bed for a few…years maybe.
Of course, such a thing wasn’t really possible when there was already someone in his bed. He was happy to see Xi-Wang, he was always happy to see him, always…but…
But couldn’t he have come just a little later?
With a sigh, Caleb quietly crept into the bathroom and began cleaning up the blood from his hands and arm, wincing as the water touched the deep puncture mark. Ow. Okay so that hurt a lot. A lot a lot.
He carefully cleaned the wound and was glad for a moment that it wasn’t…wasn’t a real snake so there was no chance of venom, but still. It was a very deep wound, and perhaps he should go to get some stitches. Thank goodness his mother had supplied a great first aid kit, and soon the puncture was bandaged and wrapped, and looked so much better than when he had first walked into the apartment.
Caleb let out another sigh and moved to the bed, flopping into it and snuggling down against his boyfriend in the warm nest that he made.
Ahh…now this was nice.

It was nice enough that it woke him, though not completely, as he shifted and turned under the blankets. Yawning and wrinkling his nose, causing it to scrunch up. When dark eyes drifted open, though only at half mast, he was able to lock his blurry gaze onto the other. “Caleb?” The other's name whispered, his voice tired and sleepy, as he shifted about in order to untuck some of the blanket from about himself so the other could slip under.
He’d been, till now, rolled up nice and tightly within the blankets but Caleb was here and he looked tired also. It was warm under the blankets, from body heat and the sheer amount of blankets he had. It would be warmer with two bodies, maybe too warm, but it was a warmth that put a person to sleep and then you woke up overheated...you got to sleep before noticing it was too warm.
“Under.” Whispered around a yawn as he snuggled into the other's pillow.

“Yeah, it’s me, Xi.” Caleb whispered, glad that he had woken up at least...it was kind of nice to have someone waiting for him at home...even if today hadn’t really been ideal for it.
He slipped under the blankets and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, hoping that in his sleep hazed state he wouldn’t really notice the bandage...and at the same time hoping that he didn’t end up bleeding through the bandage.
“Have you been here long, Xi? I’m sorry to keep you waiting...I was back at the lab...you know, got caught up doing some work on one of my projects…” Caleb nuzzled closer, brushing his lips against Xi-Wang’s cheek and sighing. It was hot under those blankets...almost to the point of being uncomfortable. He untangled his arms once again and threw a few of the blankets off of himself, tucking them more snugly around his boyfriend, sighing.

Glad to have the others company he shifted to give the other room under the blankets, so Caleb could comfortably join him. “Mmm, not sure. What time is it?” Blinking sleepily he found himself pressing his face to the others shoulder to hide a yawn. Lifting his head he was happy with the others attention, especially the nuzzling as he rather liked cuddling and such.
Turning his head to brush his lips against the others, a gentle return of the others kiss to his cheek, he shifted a bit so he could drape an arm over the other's waist. Too sleepy to notice anything off with the other he let himself settle back down - intent upon sleeping.
He wouldn’t be surprised to find, when he woke, that the other had moved some of the blankets off of his part of the bed. Caleb didn’t like to be as warm and bundled up as he did and that was fine. He liked to be warm to the point of it just bordering on uncomfortable. He’d fall asleep like that quickly and then wake up either still bordering on uncomfortable...or actually uncomfortable. But he liked the smothering heat of the blankets. Just don’t talk to him about summer. He didn’t like that sort of heat, it was different and it was uncomfortable.
“Should go with you to the lab one day - see what you’re working on.” His speech broken up, and punctuated, by a yawn as he snuggled into the other.

“Yeah that sounds like a good idea...I mean it’s not nearly as impressive as it should have been, considering I’ve been spending most of my free time with you...but I’d love to at least show you what I’ve been working on.”
He sighed heavily as he spoke. Not nearly as impressive pretty much meant that it wasn’t any different than it had been when he met Xi. He hadn’t had a chance to do anything with the blasted robot since he met the sleepy boy beside him...between Xi and his newfound...magical powers…life had gotten a little busier than he was used to, and he was really, really okay with that.
“I love you, Xi-Wang. Sleep dreams, sweetheart.” Caleb watched the darker haired boy for a while before finally nestling closer and closing his own eyes. “I’m so glad we found one another...you’re one of the best things to happen to me. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep, it never did when he wasn't sleeping alone.

“You could spend some more time on it if you need to. I don’t want to hold you back on your project. Just...you should take care of yourself also.” Which the other hadn’t been doing, obviously, when they had first met. But he was now, which was good, he didn’t want the others work to suffer though.
Nodding his head lazily, as if too heavy to really move, he managed another yawn. “Sweet dreams Caleb, love you too.” Curled into the other he was ready to sleep, it was nice and warm and peaceful. He’d see what the other worked on soon, he was curious about the others project.
As he drifted off to sleep, snuggled into the other.
