Drew was taking his sisters, Dria and Dani out on the town and had invited Dani's new friend Rini. Dria was at last getting her memories back, while Dani was finally home after nearly five years. Dria and Dani were looking at the rabbits in the outside booths of a pet store. Drew smiled, as he came up behind them. He looked toward Dria and said, "You know, I prefer Cats myself." Dria looked him secretly and knew what he meant. Dani looked at everyone, perplexed, "Why cats? Why they so important?" She didn't know just yet about the one Drew rescued in the garage.

Speaking of cats, unbeknownst to the group of four, a certain black guardian cat was near by. Hania had been out patrolling the area, looking for any Senshi that needed awakened or for any trouble that needed him to call back up for, for the past hour or so. He was just walking down the side walk keeping an eye on things a few shops down from the four at this point and paused to hop up onto a fence to avoid walking through a large group of shoppers. It was never fun to end up in the middle of a large group unless they knew he was there before hand other wise he would end up kicked and stepped on, not something he wanted to experience again. While he was on the fence though he spotted the group of four and his ears perked up when he felt there might be a Senshi that hadn't awakened with in said group, though he couldn't tell for sure unless he got closer to the two young adults and two children.

 Rini wasn't quite sure how this was supposed to work. Since she really hadn't been to many trips. Especially with friends and their family. She really hoped she brought everything she needed with her. Her dad was definitely excited before she left. So much so he even took a photo - first friends trip is what he called it.
Though for her it was a little nerve racking. Rini didn't mean to butt in without saying much, but she saw all the animals and then heard cats. "Cats are cute - I mean my dad brought one home before. She kinda just lurks around the hotel though, I hardly ever see her," She said thinking about how the only real times she saw her was when she was lurking in the hallways or when she woke up in the morning and she was at her feet. "Do you guys have any pets," she questioned curiously.
It was then she totally realized she had forgotten to say thank you. How rude of her she thought with her face a little flushed. "Oh and thank you guys for inviting me. I've never really been on any kind of like trips before with anyone like friends." Sailor Hawk Thought I had already tagged this, but tagg! =)

chi honda Sorry to both of you. I broke my computer cord and was without my computer for several weeks. Tried using my tablet but almost threw it in frustration. sad ( Now have computer cord! smile ) Dani frowned when Rini spoke of her cat. "I wish I could have a pet, Mom and Dad say no when I ask for a pet, and so did Aunt Claudia when she was taking care of me." Dria exchanged looks with Drew. Drew spoke carefully, "Then no ones told you yet." Before Dani could answer, Dria spoke up. "Our brother Drew, here, rescued a black kitten a few months from some miscreants. The vet said the kitten should just be put to sleep, it was so badly hurt, but with a certain person's help, Drew has nurtured it nearly back to health." Ignoring his twins' high praise he turned to Rini and answered, "You're welcome." Then he said mysteriously, "Try to get to know your cat. Cats are fascinating creatures." The black cat on the fence finally caught his eye. So did the light colored star on the cat's head. This one had a Native American motive. Solemnly, Drew said, "Like that one." Dria and Dani looked up. Dani was confused. "Huh?" Dria nodded and said quietly to the cat. "How Great Chief." Drew continued. "Fight the good fight."

Hania had been debating one whether he should get closer to the group to see just who it was he was feeling, and then possibly follow them around until said person or persons was alone so he could talk to them. The internal debate was derailed when one of the adults, the only male of the group, spotted him and the twin adults spoke to him. His tail curled along his feet and he gave a pleased sounding meow back in response, doing his best to give off inviting body language so they could come closer. Since they were rather out in the open, and the fact that since the twins were already awakened and he can't sense that only that the little girls had the potential, he didn't actually speak. The black Mauvian's eyes slid from the adults to the girls, giving them a thoughtful look.

Rini listened closely as they talked about the cat they rescued. It was amazing hearing such a heart warming story. "Wow ... that's so nice of you to do that. I don't think I could ever put an animal down..." She said as she thought about her little black cat. While she didn't see her much, since she was shy. she did catch her ever so often cuddling at the end of the bed. And sometimes she would just lay there so she didn't scare her back into the shadows. Thankfully she hasn't caught on yet. She thought with a smile.
"I'll definitely do that, and they sure are though mine's a little hmm whats the word... shy," she said with a smile and nodded. Since she really don't know much at all about her. her dad just found her in an alley and she was kinda skittish. So he brought her home and that was that. She quickly shook her head from the memory and saw everyone focused on a black cat. One that looked really similar to her's. Though that part she kept to herself.
Something in her felt different she wasn't sure why. But she felt like this cat was a little more interesting. She smiled and moved a little closer to the cat. Being cautious as she did. Not trying to move to suddenly. "hello. I'm Rini and you are?" she said with a smile. she didn't expect an answer since of course it was an animal but her dad told her animals could understand us and it was always polite to introduce yourself - to animal or humans. ((OOC: Sorry guys thought it posted. my mind is kinda being a little confuzzled with the new baby. thank you for being super patient. = ) ))

chi honda It is fine. NP, we understand We are happy for you. Dani followed Rini over to the cat, slowly of course, again not trying to scare the cat. "Hello, kitty. May I pet you?" She put her hand out for the cat to sniff. Aunt Dia had always been crystal clear, that to touch anyone, you needed their permission, even an animal. They just might give it differently. At that moment, Drew stiffened. Dria looked over at him. "What is it, Drew?" "I don't know. But something is wrong...there is tension in the air..."

When both of the little girls moved closer and spoke up, Hania leaned a bit forwards while keeping his balance perfect where he sat and sniffed the offered hand, trying to invite them close by body language alone though he was very tempted to speak up. One quick look showed that most of the other civilians were far enough away so he could speak up with only the two adults hearing him but he had no plans of doing so just yet. Situations change very quickly however as the twins started to speak up about sensing something and he felt the hair on his neck raise up as he could feel it too. His eyes darted around for the trouble, ears on the alert, and this close to pulling out the pens the little girls needed to transform if it turned out to be a danger for them and everyone else. ~*~*~ Of course what story didn't have a good rising tension in the air thanks to danger at times? While Hania was trying to figure out how to awaken the girls, someone else was doing her job. Kobayashi walked along the rooftop with her eyes pointed down to the streets below. There, she could see the mirror wraith she had summoned darting from person to person, stealing their energy in order to gift it to the mirrorverse as she had been taught. So far it wasn't full enough to be seen but it was getting close and those that were perceptive and sensitive to those types of things would probably get glimpses of the mass that looked like a swirling cloud of shattered mirror fragments. The Mirror Senshi took no notice of individuals for now, instead calculating just how much more energy she would need before recalling the wraith so it wouldn't panic the masses once it was seen. Of course when she didn't call it back she would just call forth another one to gather more but as this one could still gather, there was no use in changing it out just yet. Sabrina was happy to see that the kitty was responding well and their body language seem to be welcoming them. So she moved forward with caution and gently petted the kitty on its forehead and scratch behind their ears. Just like her little black cat Luna had seem to love when she did." It's a pleasure to meet you little kitty," she said happily. She knew she took a risk since her own cat didn't really like company that much she was thinking this cat was a little bit different. After all it seemed to just come right towards them. She listened as the older adults said they felt something strange and stood there for just a moment staring at the kitty. When she thought about it she actually felt something strange too. though with her she had no idea what it was all she knew was it felt like there was somebody else here doing something. Since her body seem to be tingling and for what reason she also had no idea. "Dani - is your skin tingling too?"She asked nicely. To her best friend as she continued to pet the kitty. Which she thought was going well since they hadn't complained but she only wish she knew their name so she could call them by it. sailor hawk sorry if it's a bad response I'm doing it on my phone l o l Natsuko-neko welcome back smile I'm glad it's getting better for you but I totally understand.

Dani did feel something, her skin was tingling as well but she didn't know what it was, she looked worriedly at her friend, and then at her older siblings. "I do, but I don't know what it is." Drew turned to the cat, "Great Chief, please protect our younger sister, and our good friend, Dani and Rini, while we do our duty. If it gets bad enough, please lead them away." Dria turned to Dani and Rini, "Dani, Rini, listen to me carefully. Trust the cat. He will lead you away if it gets too dangerous. Stay with him." Dani was in shock - stay with a cat she didn't know that would protect her? She opened her mouth to protest, but before any sound came out, her two elder siblings were gone. I am sorry this took so long, with school and everything, I haven't been able to do much.
