It had been a loooong day of classes and then work afterwards had just added to the stress of his day. So where did Jason go when he needed time to think (or forget) about those things? The docks. The voyager was waiting for him. He spent some time taking it out on the water, before bringing it back and and playing his guitar. It helped him clear his head and get focused for hit 'night job', as he was calling it these days.

He figured starting at the docks wouldn't be such a bad idea. It was still hard to get used to the fact that he had to be sort of sneaky while out on patrols. Thankfully his powers didn't just revolve around his sphere, he could jump and run a lot faster in this powered form. It made it easier for him to run around unseen and gather energy as he saw fit. Slowly he was growing more confident in his midnight runs. It seemed like most of the time when he did go out he ended up running into a fellow Court member. It was weird when he first noticed that he could pick up on their energy when they were close by, but now he was comforted by it. Even if he didn't encounter them, it was nice just knowing their were nearby. Half the time he just suspected it was Acubens, watching him like a momma-bird from a safe distance.

He didn't wander far from his own boat when he noticed one of those energy signatures nearby. It was similar to that of Acubens again, which meant they were probably someone higher in the ranks like her. Could it be Remarque again? Should he venture out to find whoever they were? If he did, that would be the first time he actually approached someone on his own. Maybe he should feel more confident, after all they were on the same side. He wavered just a little bit before he started to heard in that direction anyway. He really wanted to know and talk to as many Dark Mirror Senshi as he could.

A dark cloud seemed to forever hang about Avior's head these days, it's rolling thunder a constant reminder of just how unsettling it was to be back in the city. For the years he had departed from the war that raged here, an uneasiness settled in his chest, guilt piled upon guilt in his choice to leave rather than to fight, allowing his teenage naivety and depression to very much overtake every aspect of his life after he had corrupted. Yet it was that same guilt that dragged him back to the city, to try to give his support to those he had taken an oath to work with an protect, even if finding worth in himself came harder and harder with each breath.

As useless as his mind liked to tell him he was, ultimately he was STILL and Eternal Dark Mirror Senshi, and such a power was gifted to him in order to protect those who could not protect themselves, at least not quiet yet. And still he held back, that nagging sensation that he would be help to no one, much less another senshi forcing the once outgoing and excitable young man to grow quiet and shy. So when the soft feeling of Chaos began to appear in his mind, one of an ally, not an enemy, he hesitated still, finding the temptation to withdraw his vaguely roaming wraith and powering down to flee their gaze. But he didn't. With a deep breath, he waited for the other to enter his line of sight and gave a welcoming smile. The person was very much new to Avior, then again, at this point everyone could be considered new.

"Oh, hello there." He called out quietly, offering the young man a wave as he approached. "Nice evening for a walk, isn't it?"

Small talk aside, Avior was truly doing his best to keep a pleasant air about him. One wouldn't make friends if they were sour faced all the time, after all.

At this point, Crocus shouldn't have been surprised by how friendly other members of the DMC were. They were all in this crazy fight together after all, what reason would they have to avoid each other? Still, it was like being a new kid in a club at school. He couldn't help but be a little nervous when confronting other club members. What if they didn't like him? Would they even have anything in common? He had yet to come across anyone on his own that was rude though, Acubens had even been nice to him when he'd just been a civilian. A civilian that could have easily chosen a different side at that point.

He beamed a friendly smile toward the other man when he spoke first, they appeared to be around the same age, but it was had to tell sometimes. Plus, it was poorly lit out here by the docks. "There's just something about the water that is so soothing." Crocus agreed, he loved this area of their city. Whenever he needed to think all by himself he'd always come this way. He had more reasons than ever to be visiting it these days though.

The individual standing before him definitely had more experience, Crocus was quite familiar with the sight of those day, fluffy wings by now. It seemed he made a habit of running into the more experienced members of their court. He held out his hand, offering a handshake in greeting. "My name Crocus, Senshi of Saffron. I'm still new to all of this. Very new, but it's nice to meet you." That seemed like an appropriate enough greeting, just a small gesture to maybe figure out the other man a little bit more.

"I agree one hundred percent with that sentiment. The water just is so relaxing." Immediately a smile, more genuine than the one he had before took it's place on his face and he turned his head for a moment to look out, loving just how pretty i was out there. The tiny bits of sunlight that still lingered left the waters a stunning dark and mysterious color.

"I'm Avior, Senshi of Walls. It's a pleasure to meet you." The hand offered was taken and shook with a firm shake, and then went back to it's side. He wasn't one to put emphasis on his rank or his place in the court, which was exactly noone important. Which was good, since that means most people who met him didn't know who he was, or could remember the fragile boy he had once been

He was still fragile now, just a bit more sturdy, physically.

"I hadn't expected to meet another person out here, since other senshi tend to go to more populated areas for patrol. It's really a pleasant surprise to see one of my own court out here of all nights. Do you come around here often? Do you like to be out on the water too?"

It was always nice to learn someone else loved the water as much as he did and it wasn't just the other's words that confirmed it, but his smile as well. Crocus also looked out over the water, his boat was always the perfect escape after a stressful day, or really any day. The best way to end every day on a cheerful note. Avior's handshake was firm and friendly, Crocus let his hand rest on his hip afterwards as he listened to his fellow court member speak.

His eyes lit up when Avior asked his finally question, that meant the other Senshi really liked being out on the water too! Seriously, it wasn't the biggest hobby that people his own age shared. Sure, people liked going out on his boat, but it wasn't their favorite thing!

"I love sailing. Which, uh, explains why you found me out here actually. I'm still trying to find some balance in my routine for all of this. I usually come out here after work or school. Even if I don't actually take my boat out, I just like to sit in there and think. I guess, I've been spending more time here lately. A lot has been on my mind....But I'm sure you know how that goes." There had to have been a time when Avior was new to the court as well. Avior seemed to be around the same age as himself as well and in order to be an eternal....Crocus didn't think he could have handled awakening much younger than he had.

"Sailing? So do I! I'm more of a fisher though, and when I go sailing, I can only be a first mate at best." That didn't mean he rather one than the other. Both were wonderful to him and he couldn't get enough of either of them! But Crocus was right. It really was hard finding a balance, between civilian life and the powered life, but Nischal was luckier than most. He only really took online classes and didn't work... His life was lackluster, at best.

"I'm sure, I'm sure... How long have you been a senshi for? I think we're about the same age, but..." There was a large difference in power between them. "You said you were 'very new', does that mean just a few days? A few weeks..?" It was a worrying thought, imagining the boy who he immediately identified as a kindred sort of spirit, would be left alone to find out everything all on his own. He knew of senshi who had gone through that, and there were some that let it destroy them...

"If you'd like, I'd be happy to stay with you tonight while you patrol, or adventure. Or just if you'd like someone to talk to about the things you think about alot and would like a fresh ear to listen."

"I haven't done a lot of fishing, but...If you'll be my first mate, I'm fine being captain. In return, you can help me be more patient when it comes to reeling in those fish!" Crocus chuckled a bit, to think he had probably found the one person in his court that he could connect with so quickly. Fishing was always something his grandfather liked to do with him, but he had been younger then and sitting in a boat for hours holding a fishing rod was less appealing then.

"It's been about a week and a half now." If he had wanted to he could have been patrolling with Acubens or Kiuchi, but he was boldly trying to do better on his own and quickly. Plus, it gave him a chance to meet and interact with people that Acubens might not be up for him actually talking to.

"I would love the company." In all of his new adventures lately he had had the chance to learn some more about his Court, but he hadn't really had anyone to just vent with. Sure, there was Kiuchi, but he had a lot of his own things to worry about. And he was worried that Acubens might take things the wrong way if he starting venting with her, because it was partially her fault he was dragged into this 'war'.

"If you don't mind, I just need to vent to someone. My fingers are sore from taking out my frustrations on my guitar for a week straight." He held up his hands and wiggled his fingers. He was used to the calluses, but he really had been playing more than usual these days.

"I think I very much like this plan! I'd say lets go right now, but... I don't think we're quite prepared for that!" Avior laughed his own soft laugh, making a gesture to their uniforms and lack of proper gear. Fishing sounded simply amazing right now and was always a lovely way to clear his mind. Especially when he had a person to talk to and share stories with. It did suck when nothing bit the line though.

Hearing that Crocus had only been around for such a short while had Avior make a bit of a worried expression. If he was so new, why was he alone? He knew there was an appeal to being out on your own but... But there were really some crazy people out there, people who wouldn't hesitate to hurt or even kill without a second thought. It was evident that Avior was relieved when Crocus took up his offer and smiled once again, stepping a little closer with an eager nod. With a quick gaze down to the fingers that began to wiggle around, Avior noticed just how calloused they were. They looked hard like hands that worked hard and practiced nonstop, much how his own hands used to look a few months back when he had first returned to the city. It was strange being able to say he didn't have to work hard for many things anymore... But that was something to keep to himself.

"They do look rather run ragged..." Murmuring softly, he reached down, unable to stop himself, and took the other boy's hand in his own, absently feeling the rough skin. Guitarists often had that, didn't they? "I don't mind in the least. Shall we walk for a while then and you can talk your heart out? I'm a pretty fantastic listener, if I do say so myself."

Upon realizing the invasion of space, he decided to just go for it even if his face was beginning to heat up a little, and give the hands a little make shift rub, Avior's own fingers pressing down lightly on the joints and rubbing small circles in the muscles there. "We can't have that now, can we? You need these hands to tend to the lines of your boat, don't you?"

The idea of having some company out on his boat was thrilling. Most of the time he just took out his friends for small little outings, but they grew bored quickly as teenages and young adults often do. Spending hours out in the water though, even if it did involve fishing, was something to definitely look forward to. Avior's little laugh put a small, more sheepish smile on his face. Once his finals were over, oh boy had he neglected studying for those, he would have to schedule a good morning for the two of them to head out.

"I am curious, how long have you been a Senshi? I'm nineteen, but it's hard to imagine this happening to me any earlier..." How would he hide this from his parents if he still lived with them? It seemed like an impossible task, something that would break his parents heart if both of their kids were sneaking out at night and disappearing for hours at a time. They had enough on their hands dealing with Ebony.

Speaking of hands, he was a little surprised when Avior closer inspected one of his ones, he looked up at Avior curiously. He had enough experience now that even in this dim evening light he could see the flush in the tall man's cheeks and a devilish little smile broke out on his face.

"Seem to me that, rather than seeing them used for my boat, you'd rather have them all to yourself, eh?" He had to admit it did feel nice, like Avior had some experience to go off of. He coyly laced their fingers fingers together and waited to see what sort of reaction he'd get from the other man.

"Hrm... How Long... I think I awakened when I was fifteen or so? But I didn't actually awaken as a Dark Mirror Senshi. I was originally part of the white moon. A year later, I reached eternal and was introduced to this court, and joined. I'm twenty now, my birthday was in April." There were alot more details Avior could have given. Why he converted, what happened after, how he abandoned Destiny City because of his own mental illness and what not, and how it took him two years just to return... He could have said so much more in regards to it, but.... He couldn't. Not right now, not when this boy was suddenly lacing their fingers together and FLIRTING WITH HIM!

The faded flush on Avior's darkened skin only grew brighter as the other spoke, and he looked down at their fingers. He was hardly a prude, but he was certainly unfamiliar with hand holding... Heck, he couldn't remember the last time someone held his hand... Had it been almost four years? Either way, it was unexpected, as was the sudden flirting, given the fact that they had hardly spoken to one another longer than a few minutes, maybe ten at most!

And yet... He didn't let go of his hand or make any moves to pull away, only squeezing it slightly and rubbing his thumb gently against the back of Crocus' hand.

"I... I um.. I-I cannot say that I wish for your hands to be all mine, given the fact that we just met, but if you find some sort of comfort in having my own, I will not stop you..." Just how sweaty was his palms getting from this sudden burst of nerves...? Atleast Crocus' half gloves were enough to hide that, somewhat anyway...

"Uh.." Avior paused again, mind frazzled for just a moment, before he cleared his throat and tried to change the subject, and maybe take his mind off of the hand that was holding his. "How'd... Uh... How'd your awakening go...? I think mine involved very tiny little youma mushroom creatures..."

Oh, another white moon convert. Acubens had a similar story of side swapping and Crocus already knew just how hard that could be for the individual involved. She had been forced to make a lot of changes in her life and start over, it was a decision he didn't think he'd ever be able to make. Besides, he had joined the DMC in a way to avoid the war happening between them and the so called 'negaverse' he had been told about. The thought of being involved in that war at the age of fifteen made him sad.

His mood was lifted though when he got the perfect, in his little devilish mind, reaction from Avior. He didn't count on the other still holding on though, which was a bit of a surprise. That either meant he was good at rolling with things or maybe just not so good at saying when something was making him uncomfortable. The later worried Crocus, he didn't want to send his new friend running in the opposite direction of him when the night was over. A little more fun wouldn't hurt though? Right?

He stepped closer to Avior, leaving as little space between them as he dared and looked into the other man's golden eyes. "It would help...comfort me." He looked into his eyes a bit longer before a smile cracked into his serious space. "Pft." He laughed and stepped away, but didn't break his hand away just yet. "Sorry! I've been told I can push buttons. I don't want to run you off though, so I'll stop." He gave his hand a little squeeze again before letting it go.

"That did feel great though, thanks for that!" He sighed when Avior asked him how he had been awakened, looking back on it, it wasn't as scary as it had been in the moment. He pointed away from the docks, leading them in the directions that would bring them to the park where it had happened. "It was just another night for me. I was walking home when I suddenly felt a little...drained." He still felt uncomfortable using his mirror wraith, after all he knew what it felt like to have one zapping the energy out of you.

"Suddenly this woman jumped out at me. Have you met Acubens? She's an eternal like yourself. She started going on about how I was somehow 'different'." He crossed his arms then, showing that he was a bit annoyed and frustrated with what had happened. "And then, this cat shows up and says I'm 'unawakened'. All very, very confusing to me at the time. I just wanted to go home and go to bed. The cat told me I couldn't be allowed to leave. That if I did 'they' would get their hands on me. And that just wouldn't do." He reached up to play with one of the flowers on his crown then, feeling the soft petals between his fingers. "I'm pretty sure if they could have, they would have dragged me through that mirror. But eventually they convinced me it was the best way for me to remain safe, to avoid a war being fought between other factions. I'll admit that I just sort of gave up on running away. If they had found me that night, surely others would as well before too long..." He sighed and his hands dropped back to his sides, he got rid of the depressing look on his face and replaced it with a smile instead.

"Acubens has been nice to me since then. I've met other members of the court as well. Tantalus, Remarque, and Kiuchi. They've all been very pleasant and I've learned more about the court through them, although Kiuchi is rather new, like myself." He spoke fondly of them and despite how her and Acubens had met, they were getting along just fine now. He really didn't want to run into that talking cat again though.

Of all the things that Avior could imagine going through Crocus' mind, the feeling of sadness from his past situation was not even on the list. There were so many other things that the Senshi was hyper aware of at this moment. How close the other had gotten, how deeply those vivid blue eyes gazed into his own, and those almost whispered words of wanting comfort and he wanted so badly to give into it, what ever it was that Crocus was asking him, because that would mean someone truly wanted him for something.

Just like that, it was over, the other pulled away laughing, leaving Avior dumbfounded and more than a little confused by what had just happened.

"Oh." For a moment, Avior was stuck like that, in the position that Crocus had him in before, hand still poised as if he was holding the other's still. Once that information was processed, he too, smiled, if not a little nervously, and let his hand fall back to his side. It was certainly a strange feeling, having been teased in such a way, but he found himself surprisingly alright with it. It felt kinda like how he imagined teasing a friend would be like, and he could certainly do with more of them.

"Don't worry, I don't think I'm going to run off anywhere. I'm amused enough that I kinda want to know more about you now." He finally managed to say, though his cheeks remained hot for a while more. And while he calmed his own self down from whatever it was that just happened, he listened calmly taking in the information with a gentle nod here and there.

"I don't know much about Acubens, no. She seems troubled to me, but... It's certainly one of those people that seem too eager to focus on their blights and bumps than move forward..." He paused, not wanting to talk too horribly about someone he met for less than a few minutes a while back as well. "The others, I am not too familiar with either."

This wasn't the time to talk about himself though, he wanted to learn about Crocus, not blather on about his own life and doings.

"That being said, I'm am happy to hear you're doing rather well for your self. In my mind, The Dark Mirror Court has the potential to be a close knit faction, given how small we are compared to all the others, but as of yet, we are still in fragments. I'm hoping we can all become closer and be the team I just know we can be." This time, Avior took his own initiative and took Crocus' hand again, this time in more of a grasping hand shake than the lacing that the other had been doing earlier.

"I say we start that team work right here and now, what do you say? I'll be more than happy to stay by your side as you learn and go through the beginnings of being a senshi, and even beyond that. In return, perhaps we can both learn more about the others here in this court. I'll admit, I've been away for a long time so... I could use some extra charisma on my side, which you seem to be simply dripping."

Crocus was worried he might have shocked his new friend a little more than he intended. Avior seemed like he could possibly be shy, though Crocus always tended to be good at opening people up around him. The eternal really was good at listening to him rant and rave. he hadn't talked to anyone else about what had happened that night. Who was there to talk to anyway? Acubens had been there, he wasn't that close with Kiuchi yet, and why would he bother Remarque with this? None of his friends would believe him if he did tell them and he wouldn't risk putting them in danger by doing so. For once, Crocus had felt sort of alone in dealing with a truly stressful situation.

"Acubens does call the DMC her family, though I knew we were the smallest faction, I'm just now getting a sense of how much smaller we are." Yet, they all seemed to be quite active. He had already run into many Eternal senshi in his court in just over a week since he'd been awakened. No one had shied away from his questions either, all of them were happy to help in whatever way they could.

When Avior took his hand he was a little surprised but to be fair it had also been the taller Senshi who had made contact first, aside from their introductions. It was very welcoming, Crocus hadn't even thought of seeking this sort of comfort in another person since his life had been turned upside down by his awakening. There was just so much that could go wrong. If anything were to happen to Acubens or Kiuchi, he'd have to be there for them. He was flakey enough as it was, let alone trying to balance this new night life into something like making new friends or....more.

"How could I turn away such a gentleman?" He teased, laughing a little bit about the remark on his own charisma. There hadn't been a chance for him to lay on his charm in a while and Avior seemed to be soaking it all up. "Massaging my hands, listening to me complain, being on the same side, and a love for the water. It's hard to find that all in one package. I'd say...you're like a guardian angel that appeared right when I needed one."

"When you leave a faction, if you give up whoever you were aligned for, you lose more than just your allegiance... You lose your very identity. You give up your name, your family, anything that once was yours is gone, and you become a whole new person. I can understand where she comes from, calling us a family, because whatever she had before no longer exists. Whoever she was before is probably labeled as being missing or dead... The same goes for me. The Dark Mirror court is the last thing we have to consider as our family, if we didn't have that... We'd have nothing. So... Yes, If you don't mind this Gentleman's offer, I'd love to stick around for a while." Just what was it about Crocus that managed to give Avior the confidence to speak out as he did? It was a warm and wonderful feeling, as if for the first time in forever he truly felt carefree, at least for this moment.

Heck, he even managed to find himself grinning and laughing as well, his cheeks dusting another pretty pink as the other called him an angel. If he had to be a guardian angel to be needed by someone, he'd be more than happy to fill in those shoes, at least as best as he could.

"W-well, If I'm you're new guardian angel, perhaps this guardian angel needs the phone number of the person he has to protect." He teased right on back, reaching into the pouch on his hip and handing over the device. It always seemed like a risk, going out with his phone, but it was for times just like these. Time where, for the briefest of moments, there was hope that he wouldn't be so alone anymore.

While Crocus had been filled in a little bit by Acubens, it was still a little eyes opening to hear it again from Avior. It did make sense though, she treated Crocus like her child almost. Which, was a little weird considering they were the same age, but still understandable. So far, he knew two people that had switched factions in this war. That must have indicated something was definitely wrong with the White Moon. To give up your family like that? It had to be such a hard decision. Should he say anything about it? He had no idea what he could say and doubted he could make either of them feel better about their decision. He'd just have to be there, for the both of them.

They had made it to the park by the time Avior had magically pulled out his phone. "You have you phone on you?" crocus was really kinda amazed, he had never thought to pull it out and leave it somewhere before powering up so he could take it out with him. That probably spoke to his inexperience. He looked around the park, it was late so there wasn't anyone around, but he did pull them further from view incase someone did pass by.

Once he was sure no one was near by her let go of Avior's hand and powered down. He was dressed similiar to how he would any other day; vans on his feet, jeans, a simple v-neck maroon shirt, and a zip-up hoodie. He also had his guitar strap on one shoulder, but it was from his hoodie pocket that he pulled his cell phone out.

"You're already teaching me things! So, how about we take a night off and go find some place still open and selling ice cream?" He hadn't taken a night off since all of this happened to him, it would be nice to just talk as two people for a change. "My name's Jason by the way. So you don't have to put me in your phone as 'Crocus', people might think you have a flower obsession." He joked around a bit, yes he had done some research into his Senshi name, who could blame him?
