This seems to be a hot issue over in the site feedback forum.

There is a group of people who feel like mods like to be inconsistent with punishment.
Some say they are way too harsh with punishment for piddly offences another thing that is said is that they like to power trip and be unfair.
I've seen a lot of threads pop up about unfair bans and harsh warnings.

So I'm curious about where everyone here stands on the issue with mods and consistency.
Do you feel that they are fair or unfair?
Do you have any stories about being banned?
Do you feel that you ban was unfair?
Why/why not?

This is by no means a bash the moderation team thread, this is meant to be a discussion. Don't bash the mods or anyone for that matter and if you share stories be sure that you do not namedrop anyone whether it be a mod, artist, staff member, dev or an average Joe user.
Namedropping isn't cool.
