Humming softly Shadiya walked through a small field in Sauti. It was a nice enough place that they had stopped - a small valley that cut through the cliffs with some flower fields and a small stream to feed them. Smiling, the woman even glanced up as a flurry of wings caught her attention. Sailscales from the southern cliffs seemed to always fly towards home in the early hours of the morning. It really was pretty. Not the same as her ocean's melody, but still lovely all the same. The woman was just thankful that her family could be here to see it. Though speaking of family Shadiya felt a hand drift down towards her belly. While the symptoms of a certain situation was not as intense as her first encounter the woman was wise to the signs. But how do I tell Dexurn? Better yet what did they do now that they were in Sauti again? So many questions, so little time. She teased herself before bending down carefully to twist a flower from the ground and into her hands.

It seemed a little difficult to believe that they were in Sauti. The last time had been not long after he'd proposed to Shade.. That felt like ages ago, but he could still remember it. The two of them wet from stumbling around in a creek, him feeling like his heart was going to escape his chest as he held up the ring, and the indescribable feeling when Shade had said yes...
Now they had Koril and Kyril, Shade was no longer hiding from her uncle, and he had faced his old master and beaten his mental chains.
He'd forgotten how dry Sauti was, but at least it wasn't as hot as Oba. He stood in front of the inn they were staying at and felt a smile rise. He was a free man with his wife and children.. How could it get any better?

Humming a soft melody under her breath Shadiya began to walk her way back towards the inn. Was anyone else awake yet? It seemed as if the children were always willing to sleep until the sun hit the midday sky lately, but she hoped at least to see Dexurn. Ah. And there he was. As soon as Shadiya saw her husband the Oban's mouth curved upwards into a brilliant smile, " Dex!" She waved with wildflowers clutched in her hands, " Good morning!" Moving quickly towards her mate Shadiya twisted so that she could kiss his cheek.

Hearing his name said by that familiar voice, he instantly smiled as he turned to see his wife approach. "Where have you been off to this morning?" he asked, returning the affection with a kiss to Shade's forehead. "I got up all by myself today. Koril did talk to me a little in his sleep, but it's not the same as with a conscious person."

" Oh just walking around. The fields are just so lovely in this area." Shadiya's cheeks darkened at the kiss. Out of all things it was the simple shows of affection like kissing her forehead that made her feel all tingly inside. Biting her bottom lip sheepishly the woman glanced up at Dexurn before laughing once more, " Oh really? I'm sure whatever Koril says in his sleep though can be pretty entertaining."She reached out to grab Dexurn's hand, " Since they're still sleeping then should we go on a walk? I've been feeling pretty antsy all morning so I don't mind getting a bit more exercise in if you want."

Dex grinning and nodded. "Something about how Flana had taken his lunch, and he was going to grab a bed to climb a tree and get it back." Dreams were always mysterious and wild creations.
Squeezing her hand, he nodded and took a deep breath. "I could use a little walk. I feel like I slept in a little myself, and need to shake off the sleep." With s gentle tug, he started walking in the opposite direction Shade had come from. A different view would be good, surely.

Shadiya giggled as Dexurn expressed Koril's latest dream, "Shouldn't we go to a shaman for dream interpretations? Maybe that means he'll be moving up in life because of Flana." She teased lightly, "That or we'll find some flying zanteers soon." The woman shook her head, "Makes me wonder what Kyril dreams about."
Happy, Shadiya squeezed Dexurn's hand in return. "Sounds good to me. Can't let our family vacation make us completely lazy after all. I hear just sleeping all day and never working is bad for your health." She grinned playfully as she started following alongside of her mate, "I mean what other reason could there be for gaining weight?" She teased lightly, a bit of a hint at something more than simply a lazy vacation, "I guess the stream continues this way too." She pointed as they continued down the path, "If that's the case then I'm guessing the flower fields should start springing up soon too. I wonder if they plant these wildflowers on purpose?"

Dex laughed and shook his head. "I'm not sure I wanna know what Koril's dreams mean. It's probably just an elaboration on Flana's little tricks." That zanteer was a sneaky little bugger, to be sure.
"I wouldn't be able to lie around all day," he assured. Weight? Brow cocking, he looked down at himself for inspection. He didn't think he had gained any weight lately... Did she mean the kids maybe? Or herself? Ridiculous. "I have a feeling they come up at random," he offered. "Otherwise, the town itself would have a creek running through to bring up flowers for everyone."

"That's good." Shadiya laughed and shook her head, "I don't think I could do it either. Even when I was pregnant with Koril and Kyril I had to try and do something no matter how much you wanted me to rest." She smiled at him teasingly, "I'm really not good at the relaxing game, but I suppose I'll have to try while we are here."
Innocently though she darted away from the hint to glance around as a few flowers started to appear, "You think so? I guess I'm just reminiscent of my childhood. Since you know the desert rules most of Oba there would be waterways created just so gardens could exist. Mostly there were the oasis which were natural, but for my home we had so many flowers brought to our yards..." She shook her head, "Here I am thinking I'm a child again when I already have children of my own." Shadiya glanced towards Dexurn sheepishly, "I guess if we do create a new home in Matori or somewhere then I would like a flower garden if that would be okay."

Dex gave Shade's hand another squeeze. "You were even more stubborn than usual, as I recall." Even when he had hurt his ankle, which had happened on a few occasions, he was always trying to do something. "Have to try?" he repeated out loud, giving Shade a curious look. "Do you want to sit still more?"
Smiling lightly, he nodded with approval. "You're fine, Shade. You can have whatever kind of garden you want, as far as I'm concerned."

Shadiya laughed lightly at his confused reaction, "Not that I want to sit still more, but there is more of something to be certain." The woman playfully reached up a finger so that she could boop her husband on the nose. She wanted to tell him, but did enjoy teasing him as well~
"Any type of garden I want?" The woman pursed her lips, "What if we need one that can have several people walking in at the same time? A huge garden that little ones can enjoy as well. So we would have to put any flowers with thorns up high and leave something more gentle like these wildflowers at the ground level." The oban glanced at her husband with a small smile as she lifted a bright yellow flower towards him, "What do you think?"

Dex cocked his head, snorting when his nose was poked. "You're being as elusive as ever, too," he said with a tiny pout. She had too much fun leading his mind in circles, and he could tell that was happening right now. But what was he missing?
Eyes narrowing, he gave Shade a side-glance. "If that's what you really want, but I'm pretty sure that'll mean Koril will tear through even more pants than he already does. You want thorns or pants on the boy?"

"Me, elusive? Never." Shadiya winked playfully at her mate before adding to the flowers she was already holding, "I just like to watch things grow. Flowers especially are so pretty to watch. The get planted, they sprout, and then finally they bloom."
She laughed as Dexurn brought up Koril, "Well I wasn't thinking of Koril and Kyril when I mentioned little ones, but I guess that's a concern as well. Definitely want him to keep his pants on unless we want some trouble. But I see your point. I guess it's safer for the babies if we just completely tried to get rid of the more dangerous flowers. Though I still would like just a little of those crimson flowers. I'll think about it since we still have time to plan." Ever so slyly she glanced back at Dexurn and just waited to watch for any reaction.

Koril and Kyril were not the little ones? "Flana?" he asked thickly, utterly confused. Wait.. "The babies?" The children weren't babies, and she had already said she wasn't talking about the kids. His forward motion stalled, brow knitting slightly. "You want a garden... safe for the babies..." Very slowly, the dominoes started falling into place. He caught the look Shade was giving him, brow rising. "The babies.. like... new ones? For us?"

Shadiya couldn't help grinning as Dexurn slowly caught onto her string of hints, "I would hope so." She nodded happily before her hand drifted down to her stomach, "Would be a shame to carry something for nine months then demand a refund or give them up." She teased lightly as she waited on her mate's reaction, "Sincerely though...I hope this is okay."
Timing wise she would have preferred to wait a bit longer, but at the same time at least they were more settled now? And these babies wouldn't have to worry about her uncle's presence in the shadows and could live life freely. It was a pleasing thought and one that made the mother smile even more as she touched her stomach.
