History: Son of S'kal. Born when S'kal was 23 at High Reaches. He knew who his father was but S'kal was not only a fairly young rider and not at all ready to be a father, but with his own troubles he rarely interacted with his son. Such was not unusual in the weyr and Alander was raised in the weyr cresh with no ill effect, beyond his overly feminine appearance earning him the usual bullying from the other kids who were also being cared for by the weyr. It was not until S'kal got himself kicked out that who his father was had any real impact on Alander's day to day life. After S'kal left in disgrace, Alander found himself the butt of more malicious jokes and was bullied fairly frequently. Nothing overt or extreme, but enough to make an already shy kid into a someone withdrawn one. The only respite he received was when he was busy with his work or visiting the animals. It was due to this natural inclination towards animals aided by the unpleasant interactions with several of his classmates that nudged him towards the beastcrafters. Becoming a familiar sight around the pens and offering to help out. over time his presence was taken as normal and while not an official apprentice, it is rare that he is to be found anywhere else when not in classes.
Other: He lives in the shadow of his father and while he doesn't know specifics, he has heard enough rumour and whisperings to know his father is in disgrace with High Reaches. If he ages out, he will likely become a Feline handler.

Hey Tan!
So a few things. Alexander is not a Pernese name. It's fine if you want to come up with some sort of Pernese imitation of it? If you want his honorific, should he Impress, to be A'nder, you could come up with something Azander, or maybe Alander or something like that. While I try to be flexible with names, Alexander is just outright a very common earth name so that needs to be tweaked if possible. I've let a few earth names slide through, but I do need to start cracking down on names at least being a little Pernese. xD
Secondly, you mention he's been working with the Master Beastcrafter. If that's the case, then his craft should say Beastcrafter and his rank would be an Apprentice. He wouldn't be assigned to work with the crafter master or his journeyman if he wasn't an official apprentice. As he's at the Weyr it's also possible it's less of an official thing and more of a "hey, you're interested in this, let me show you some stuff." but it should still be noted.
Secondly, I feel like his history is lacking, along with his personality. Since we match dragonets against a Candidates personality, we need as much detail as you can provide. You mention in his personality traits that he's easily pushed around, but it's not mentioned in his personality, nor in his history anywhere (I assume that would likely come up in some incident somewhere). You mention he's honest, but is he the sort who can't tell a lie? Can he keep a secret? Is he honest to a fault where he'll fess up even if he would have gotten away with it? How honest is honest? You talk about him being hard working, but it doesn't come up in his personality, and in his history instead. I feel like some of his history is actually better in line with his personality.

As for his history, he might only be 14 Turns, but he's had to do some living. Was he raised by S'kal or was he put in the creche? Did he have a foster mother or father? Is he at all curious about S'kal or his origins? Being so shy and introverted how has he managed in the Weyr? You say he doesn't have many friends, but a small handful; does he do things with them? Are they interested in animals like him or are they more shy and reserved? Has he been pushed around anyone? Bullied because of his quiet reserved nature? And I suppose most importantly how did he feel about Threadfall returning? It returned a Turn ago -- now he's of age to Stand for Impression. Does he want to fight it? Does he want to Impress or does he feel like it's something he has to do? Is he afraid of Thread?
I think if you can fill out his personality and history a bit, he should be in better shape.
