Wavellite was up to no good. Kind of. At least she was trying to be up to no good…it was kind of difficult when your idea of being up to no good was stealing some candy and chips from the local corner store…but that was what she had done. It hadn’t been difficult, and when the owner tried to chase her and yell at her…she had taken his energy, so really she was being a punk little brat and fulfilling her duties for the Negaverse in one swoop.
Life was fantastic sometimes.
So, now here she was, a shopping bag full of stolen goodies in her hand, making her way to the park, when what to her wondering eyes should appear but her little warrior princess herself.
Oh this was turning out to be the best night ever.
Quickly, the teenaged lieutenant made her way over to the green haired chibi and wrapped an arm around her neck in a gentle mockery of a chokehold. “Hey there Xenia. Fancy meeting you here. How about you and me go on a little date? I brought snacks~”
She leaned her head around, planting a kiss on the chibi’s cheek, and released the hold she had on her, opting to grasp her hand instead. “It’ll be fun, don’t you think?”

Xenia hadn't exactly expected to run into Wavellite again, that night - she was out looking for trouble in the way only a Senshi could, hoping to catch an officer actually int he act of doing something nefarious. Or maybe fight a youma. Or save someone.
Except there was an arm around her, and for a moment she panicked but -- that was Wavellite's voice. That was familiar, and Wavellite definitely meant her no harm. So she lit up, turning to press a kiss of her own to the other girl's cheek.
"When you ask that nicely," Xenia said brightly, "how can I say no?" She squeezed Wavellite's hand, interlacing their fingers.

Oh this little senshi was just the cutest of cute, and she might have made Wavellite’s stomach flip flop a little…not that she was going to admit that. This was a project…not a real crush. This was nothing more than her first attempt at bringing someone over to the right side. Hadn’t Ashanite told her not to actually have feelings? Well. She would listen to that advice.
The only real issue that she could find now was just how warm her hand felt with Xenia holding it…no.
No there was no time for feelings.
“Well, I’m glad, my princess~” She gave a slightly mocking bow but grinned to show that she was just teasing and drew Xenia over to the nearest picnic table, opening her bag and laying out all of the snacks she had pilfered. “Ta-da~ A date fit for a pretty princess like yourself and her fair…uh. Me.”
She didn’t want to release Xenia’s hand, but in order to open the snacks…she would have to…for now…but, an arm went around the chibi’s shoulders as soon as the snacks were opened, and that was even cozier.
“Isn’t this nice?”

Xenia liked being called "princess." It was nice. It was sweet. It made her feel important, and wanted, and....and she really really liked the idea of being a princess, okay? It was a cute pet name and she wanted to keep it.
"You really went out of your way for this, didn't you?" Xenia was flattered, and it showed on her face. She wasn't exactly a subtle person when it came to her feelings. "How about a princess and her brave lady?" She offered, and she sat down at the picnic table and squeezed up against Wavellite's side, and cuddled a little closer when the Lieutenant put an arm around her shoulders.
0This is...really really nice," she agreed. It was. It felt sweet and romantic and...and like everything a first date was supposed to be.

“Of course I went out of my way for you. I’ll always go out of my way for you. Don’t you worry your pretty little head about that.” Wavellite was really enjoying the fact that Xenia was so into this. It was going to be easy…tricking this girl into coming to their side…
And it would be fun too. And she would be so pretty when she was in black.
“How have you been, cutie pie? Have things been going okay for you? School and all that jazz?” She let her fingers gently trace random shapes on the sneshi’s shoulder and grinned.
“Maybe one day…you and I can go on a real date…like to the movies or something…you know, I’d really like that…I’ve never had a…a girlfriend before…” She put a small bit of hesitance into her voice, and thought she sounded embarrassed enough. “I mean, not that I’m assuming that’s what you are to me now but…just so you know…”
Wavellite held Xenia tighter and lightly grazed her cheek with her lips. “I…I am interested.”

Xenia laughed lightly. "Well alright then, I won't worry about it." She didn't want to worry about it. She wanted to just enjoy it, and...well, there was permission to do that.
"School's going okay, but I can't wait to be done. Just a couple more months...!" Which was sort of what it always felt like, but. High school was coming up. She was actually kind of excited for that.
She took a handful of chips, nibbling on them carefully to avoid getting crumbs on her outfit, because that would look stupid and undignified and like. She sort of did still want to impress Wavellite, because at any point she could realize Xenia was a huge dork and this was all a terrible idea.
But. Maybe she didn't have to worry too much about all that.
"I..." She stumbled over her words a little, cheeks flushing bright red when Wavellite's lips brushed against one. "I'd like that a lot. To...to go on a nice date, I ,ean, to the movies, and maybe." She looked away, briefly, flushing darker. "To be, um. Girlfriends."
It seemed almost impossible. Wavellite was so pretty, and so...dangerous and worldly, and Xenia was just a dumb kid.

“I would too, Xenia. I really would…but…” Wavellite gave a heavy sigh, looking away, trying to seem a lot sadder than she actually was. “It’s just such a pity you’re not on my side of things…then we could go out and I could call you all the time and we could have sleepovers and…and it would be great.”
She looked back at the slightly younger senshi, grinning brightly. “So…so you’d like to be my girlfriend? Seriously?” This girl was just too naive and trusting and it was just…it was honestly cute. Honestly, if she really put thought to it…she wouldn’t mind going on dates with her and taking care of her, so perhaps it was more than just her dumb mission after all.
“You’re still…at what, knightside? Do you know what school you’ll be going to? You said you’d be fourteen soon, or rather, you said you’d be fourteen in a ‘little while’ so, I’m just going to assume that’s soon…so that means you have another year at knightside? God I hated it there. It’s such a dumb school and that uniform is just. Ugh. I detest skirts. Most of the time. But you, I bet you look cute as a button. You should go to that new school, Romanos? I mean, they have great uniforms…and that purple would look just killer on you. Not that I go there or anything, but if I did…I’d totally hit on you in the halls.”

Xenia fiddled with her skirt and her shoulders slumped. "I....yeah, its really sad. I wish we could do more." She sighed, quietly. "Would your side even take me? I mean, I'm just a chibi, my magic's not even very good."
But she'd get to be with Wavellite. Maybe she could...convince the Negaverse, soemhow. It would disapoint Julienne terribly, but Julienne hadn't exactly had advice for what to do with Negaverse girls that wanted to be her girlfriend, not fight her.
"I, um. Yes. I'd really like to be your girlfriend." She said, smiling faintly.
"I'm finishing up Knightside in a couple weeks," she said, "and then...probably Meadowview in the fall? That's where all my siblings went, anyway." Until they'd graduated and gone to DCU and it had been ....well. She was alone now, and that was that. Everyone else had their own lives, and Alex and Cait were...gone. So.
"I like skirts, sometimes. " She shrugged her shoulders. "Romanos uniforms to look really good, though. I - I kind o wish I could go there." Her cheeks colored faintly, and she stared down at her hands, looking embarrased. Truth be told, i was easy to picture Wavellite in one of those petty, crisp, purple and black uniforms. Xenia would bet she looked amazing.

“Ew, don’t go to Meadowview, and of course they’ll take you, the Negaverse I mean. They’ll be happy to take you. I’ll be happy to take you. You can come and live with me when it’s over, if you want. Seriously though, see if you can go to Romanos. Why wouldn’t you be able to go there? It’s not like you have to be super rich like at Crystal. So long as you’re smart, and I can see that you are, Xe, they’ll let you in, I’m sure.”
Wavellite was talking too much, she knew that, at least a little bit she knew it…but she wasn’t flat out saying that she went to the school, and this wasn’t saying either that it was a Negaverse run school…she was just…talking about how great it was, nothing more.
“Anyway. I should get going soon…but we need to meet up again, okay? I told my General about you, and he seemed pleased…so I’ll let him know you want to join the Negaverse, yeah? Maybe when I see you again…he can bring you over? Or something?” It wouldn’t be that easy, she knew…but still. This whole plan had been easy. Super easy.

"I'll talk to my parents about Romano's, I'll bet they'll go for it no question." Xenia laughed, a little. It seemed only natural, really -- after all, they would want to see her excel academically. Romano's was a good school.
And if she was very, very lucky, maybe she'd meet whoever Wavellite was under the magic. They might not know each other - not until she made the choice to go over herself - but. It'd be. It'd be exciting, maybe.
"I'd like to meet your General," she said. "Because, I mean, if all of the Negaverse is as nice as you...I mean." She shrugged. "I was wrong about you when we first met, I thought you were trouble and you're really just....nice. Sweet. Wonderful." She tilted e head to the side. "Is there anything I should know? About the Negaverse, I mean, before I join."

“Not really. I mean, It’s pretty straight forward, you’ll help us gather energy and make us stronger, and who knows, perhaps you’ll be the one who really tips the balance so we can take over and all that.” Wavellite stroked the younger girl’s cheek and grinned. “The most important thing to know, is that I’m going to take real good care of you when you join, and me and my General are going to make sure you’re taken care of financially and you won’t have to worry about anything. That’s the best part about the Negaverse is how much support you get with everything. It’s great.”
The lieutenant was quiet for a moment then pressed herself close to the chibi senshi. “I want to kiss you, and I really, really want you to let me kiss you, and while I’m kissing you, may I please drain a little energy? I want to just prove to you that it doesn’t hurt, okay? Plus, I’m really behind in my quota…”
She gave a rather apologetic grin and stroked Xenia’s cheek again, knowing full well that she would get what she wanted from this girl. Anything she could possibly want.

Xenia nodded along. It all sounded so good, so easy, so....wonderful. She'd be safe and taken care of and she'd be with Wavellite, and it would be perfect. It would be so easy to just sign herself over, and there would never be anything else to worry about.
"I want to do it," she said. "And, um. I'd also really like it if you kissed me. And it's okay if you take a little energy when you do." She absolutely believed that it would be painless; Wavellite had no reason to lie to her.
And really, she was so utterly lovestruck Wavellite could have asked her for anything and she would have gladly given it.

Wavellite grinned and stroked the senshi’s cheek once again before hesitating for only a moment, then touching her lips to the other girls. She had never…never kissed anyone before and was a little unsure of how she was supposed to go about it, but it was nice. Her lips were soft and that just made it nicer.
And she did like Xenia…so that was really made it easy, and when the small ball of energy started forming in her hand, her eyes were drawn to it, and she pressed her lips more firmly to the other girl’s, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her closer, watching in fascination as the energy grew.
When the ball was about the size of her hand, she drew away and tucked the precious energy into her subspace pocket, giving a dreamy sounding sigh.
“Meeting you has been the absolute best thing about all of this, Xe. I have the best girlfriend in the whole world.”
So far as great plans were concerned, this was the greatest plan she had ever done...and all with no planning

Xenia had never kissed anyone before either, and she really didn't have much of a frame of reference - fanfiction could only give you so much, and it wasn't exactly accurate.
As soon as Wavellite's lips touched hers, she let her eyes flutter closed, and she leaned into it, even when she started to feel a little dizzy. She wasn't sure if that was the kiss or the energy draining or both, but it all felt so nice and hazy that she wasn't sure she cared. If that was all energy draining was, then it would be no problem for her to do it once she was part of the Negaverse.
"I'm so glad we got tho meet," Xenia said, grinning brightly. "But I think you're wrong - I have the best girlfriend in the world."

Wavellite grinned brightly and grabbed a candy bar from the table. “Here, eat this and you’ll feel better…I should get going, and you should get yourself home too, Xe. I don’t want anything happening to you out here, and you’ll be tired from the energy loss, so…go home and go to bed and be safe and…”
She couldn’t help it. Leaning forward, she pecked the younger girl’s lips again, her grin growing and the faintest blush covering her cheeks. “I’ll see you soon. Don’t forget about me okay? Just…think about me as often as I think about you, which, is pretty much all the time…I can’t wait until we can be together for real, Xe. It’s going to be great. I’m gonna love you for the rest of my life, I swear.”
Quickly, before any other sappy and silly things came out of her mouth, the young lieutenant pushed the rest of her pilfered snacks back into the bag and gave a little wave, before running off into the night.
Perhaps…it wasn’t the best choice. Actually falling for the senshi might not have been smart…but…Ashanite didn’t have to know. Nobody had to know…besides. She would be theirs before too long anyway, right? She wanted to corrupt…so it didn’t matter if Wavellite had actually…
Actually maybe fallen in love.
