The Admiral of the fleet is the ranking officer of the Solarian Navy, handling organization and policies that affect the entire Navy. The AotF works long hours, sometimes overnight. As such, the office reflects the privileges of rank and the overnight work that occasionally happens.
The office is 100 meters across, 50 meters wide, shaped like a rectangle. the wall opposite the door is a massive window, overlooking the Earth. The window has micro feedback nodes in it, so it can be used the same as any other console.
On the far left of the office is a sturdy desk with a built in holoprojector. The desk contains a stationary console, as well as the ability to project that console's screen onto the holoprojector. Due to motion sensors on the desk, the projected screen can be manipulated with hand motions, similar to advanced warships. There are two chairs on the opposite side of the desk. On the left of the desk is a small table with a coffee pot and three mugs.
the floor of the office is the same metal used in the interior construction of the station. However, the floor has been made to look like old fashioned hardwood, polished with lacquer. Near the window however, the floor reverts to the basic steel look.
On the far right of the office is a long couch. Opposite the couch is a loveseat. Between them is a large chair. A 300 year old mahogany table sits in the middle of the furniture, with a lace tablecloth and a vase of flowers. Every week, the flowers are replaced with a new bunch, each one from a different Solarian world.
The office can be soundproofed and jammed to all listening devices, indicated by the lights changing to a dim yellow. The door is fortified to resist multiple explosions and the entire office can be sealed against the vacuum of space.
