A ball of anxiety, fear, shyness, and fluff, that is what this small doll that was pacing back and forth in the Guild Hall. Some of his Guildmates had gone on a mission, they being Hailey and Rin. Both of their strengths as mages were staggering as the Ace and a fellow S-Rank of Sabertooth so they would no doubt be safe during their Mission. But he couldn't help but worry, they were friends of his! They were like a family to him! When they left, he had tried his best not to looked worried, but they no doubt saw right through his facade. He had been a Sabertooth long enough for it to be an easy task. He wanted to go with them, he could have done good with his Assimilation magic, yet he had gotten afraid of getting in their way at the last second and decided not to join, not even show any signs of interest before hand. They're strong! They're both really strong! So they should be just fine! I bet when they get home they'll be happy and want some food! I can do that much for them, so when they do get home I'll make one hell of a meal~! But...But...But anything can happen.... His thoughts were quick and loud, if a telepath were to listen in on them it would be like a video at 1.5x speed and with the volume all the way up. Before he knew it he had started to subconsciously assimilate into the Guild Hall's Floor as he paced, his body going deeper and deeper the more he paced. His thoughts had even became muttering at this point as he got more nervous. "What if they come home seriously injured? That would be complete trouble! I have little medical skills and going out to find a doctor might take too long and by the time I get back they could be dead!! The amount of disappointment I'd get from Caius would be too much for me to bare, I got to get some supplies ready and fast or else it might be t-" By the time he had begun to imagine the worst, the two coming back with critical injuries, missing limbs, or worse someone if brought their corpses back to the guild hall, he had realized was 80% merged with the Guild Hall and a lot of it had distorted and stretched a bit thanks to his panic. Putting it all back to normal and receiving a few "That's Nou alright"'s and looks that showed his doting nature was endearing by some of the other members, who most had chosen to simply ignore the fact that he nearly distorted the entire guild hall into unrecognizable shapes. If he had the ability to, Nougyō would have one hell of a blush on his face.

The Magic known as Assimilation was one that suited a coward like Nougyō, it made hiding the easiest thing and if he needed to he could fight his enemies or provide support for his allies by altering the battlefield. His other magic, Magic Hat, was something he rarely used in battles as he enjoyed it as a way to entertain others. While the magic he was the most attuned to and the most talented at was...Well it was a bit too confrontational for his liking, not to mention some people disliked their magics being copied and only made them angry. An angry opponent only made fights harder and more dangerous, even if it was a friendly bout. Nougyō didn't enjoy fighting in the slightest, there was pain, his opponent getting hurt, his friends getting hurt, the amount of destruction occurring, the second and third problems being the absolute worse! He tried his best to avoid fighting always, but as a Mage he knew that it was unavoidable sometimes so when those time came, he steeled his will as hard as he could. The only thing that kept his will to go through with the fight and not run during such fights was this Guild. He hoped Caius was well on his travel to Era, he was unsure why he was such a frequent visitor there, he was a Guild Master but was it so common for them to go there? The Magician Rabbit doll was unsure...But it was likely a unselfish reason that pried his time away from his Guild!

As the young bunny-like creature's magic wrested from its control, a man behind the bar simply sighed. Through subtle use of his magic, he was able to keep the bar from transforming too much. Even after the amount of time he'd been there, he wasn't sure if his own magic would adversely affect the boy. So he kept his hands on the bar to keep it from melding with the child-like being.

As it wore off, Velimir slid a glass down the bar, making sure it stopped just where Nougyo could reach it. "Calm down there, kid. They're going to be just fine. I swear, you kids get wilder every year. Hmph. In my day, we trusted our companions to come back in one piece." His tone was scolding as he leaned over the counter, but his face was nothing but jovial and friendly to the little being in front of him.

His nerves were in no way calming down, especially after what he just did thanks to his nerves. He was rather embarrassed after that, if he was capable he'd be bright red as a tomato by now. Nougyo had covered his face with his long rabbit ears before attempting to hide the rest of himself, only to bonk his plushie head against one of the tables. Nougyo always believed it to be frustrating to be him, he was always unconfident, afraid of everything, nervous about everything, sometimes he wished he could be someone else for a day. But unfortunately he was him and there was nothing he could do to change that. Perhaps there was one person who, that person being the one who gave him this life, the person that gave him the gift of sentience...But he had no idea where that person was or what their name was. If he ever could meet that person again, Nougyo would ask why he was like this and hopefully the answer wasn't anything mean. His rabbit ears had picked up a familiar voice despite them being used to cover their owner's face. Nougyo would face the bar and started walking there, his ears still covering his face which caused him to bump into various things along the way before eventually making to it. Nervously he moved his ears away from his face before extending them upwards, the front of them gripping onto the bar before he had them pull him up and onto the bar. "W-Well I know that they're strong! J-J-J-Just that anything can happen y-y-you know?" Nougyo admired Velimir, he could easily considered to be in his retirement years and yet he was still working as a Mage. Nougyo deeply hoped that he would be able to work at Sabertooth until he too was an old...Rabbit?

Despite his aged appearance, Velimir was rather lively in his growing years. Enough so that as Nougyo bounced his way across the hall, he had time to right and organize the bottles displaced when the bunny-boy melded with most of the hall. Even after all this time, he still wasn't sure if Nougyo ate or drank. It rather concerned him, but he wasn't sure if asking would upset the childish being or not. Never one to upset a child, Vel merely kept his mouth shut.

As Nougyo rattled through his sentence, Vel sighed and reached out, putting a hand on the boy's head. "So long as Rin and Hailey stick together, they'll be fine. She's called in outside help, too. One of them is very, very strong. The other is some brat from Blue Pegasus. It will be fine so long as she doesn't become a burden to them. But enough of that, how can I help you calm down a little? It's bad for your health to worry too much." Most people didn't get this sort of treatment from Vel, but Nougyo was almost adorably nervous. All the time. Vel's less than secret weak spot for children almost always resulted in him having a bleeding heart for the poor child(?). But with not much else to do until the little creature responded, Vel proceeded to mix himself a small Martini. He had quite the resistance to alcohol, so he felt more than comfortable drinking while tending the bar.

OoC: No worries! I know how that one goes, I really do XD

xxxIn total, it took Nebula about three minutes just to find the guild hall. She'll get to the gunning and the explosions AFTER her glass of sex in the city and chardonnay; maybe if she's feeling lucky, she may get a few vodka shots. Nebula needs a damn drink! When she got into the massive guild hall, Nebula spent no time in running to the bar counter, taking a seat by one of the stools, and repeatedly slamming her hand on the bar counter bell like some sort of maniac child. It didn't take too long for Nebula to realize that a man was already behind the bar counter, which caused the woman to blush, "Oops, ahahaha..." Nebula flicked her bangs from her face, resuming a more mature stature. "Can I have alcohol Mr. Intercom guy?" She asked this rather politely, almost forgetting why she was there. "Chardonnay is nice... And Rum... Mmm... Rum... Do you make cocktails, like Bloody Marys or... MMM... Snake venom..." The woman continued to fantasize about her alcohol addiction before coming back to her sense. "Oh hi, my name is... Olivia..." She extended her hand for a hand shake. "My guess is that your name is not Mr. Intercom Guy... My bad."

Vel took his time downing the martini he had fixed himself before Neb's arrival. He was not good with people in general, so having the role of Guild Face put on his plate while Hailey and Rin were out was putting him in a sour mood. However, it was favorable to letting Chiome greet people first. The man was a walking wellspring of bad ideas and laziness made flesh. He was probably sleeping somewhere, at present. But if this woman showed any magical promise, Vel would find and wake him.

And then Neb arrived and started demanding drinks whilst pounding upon his bar. Gratefully few were the ways of angering him faster than impatient, rowdy, loud, demanding youngsters. This girl had just hit all of those checkmarks and a few others. But he was under orders to play nice and not scare off potential recruits. Her apology did a little bit to help assuage his disdain, so the old man put on his best attempt at a sincere smile. "Well, since you know how to be respectful, or at least apologize when you're not, I'll fulfill your request. But first, a small safety measure." As easy as breathing, Velimir extended his aura of magical nullification around the woman before him. At the same time, he busied himself making her requested drinks. As the first slid down the bar towards her, the old man continued making the others. "So little missy, what magics or talents do you have that you feel would be beneficial to this guild? And also, you will not be able to use your magic until I say so. We've had problems with drunken ruffians before. No offense of course, little miss Olivia. I am Velimir, to correct you."

At least she knew the etiquette of giving names before asking them. That was better than he could say for his guild master at times...

xxxThe guy sure was patient for a legal mage, Nebula had expected him to hit her on top of the head with his pool stick. The woman rubbed the back of her head and laughed nervously, a drop of embarrass-sweat trickling down her forehead. "T-thanks!" After the first drink was delivered to her, Nebula quickly downed the first mug of rum, wasting no time in drinking every last drop in her cup before gently placing it down. She wasn't drunk just yet; it would take a while for her to get well-drunk. However, because of her trip to the bar before coming to the guild hall, it was certain that Nebula would eventually get buzzed.

As expected, the guy was a nullification mage; no wonder why Nebula couldn't conjure a slice of bread or something to eat with her drink, "Aw, s**t..." The young woman tapped her nail against the bar stool as she began to answer the elderly man's question, Velimir's question. "I can use guns magic... It's personally my favorite, even though my particular specialty is..." Nebula stopped for a moment, she wasn't going to give the man all her tricks, right? "Sorry, ahaha... I got a bit dazed out from drinking that rum too fast," she replied, running her finger along the rim of her cup, "Magulity Sense magic," she added, "I know Maguility Sense..."

"Ah, and don't worry about the nullification thing, it's not like I need to use 'magic' right at this moment..." She mumbled, side-glancing at the elder.

Vel smiled as the young woman before him explained her inebriation and and magics. "Well, those are very strong magics, young woman. You must be a real menace in a long distance fight. We have a lot of mid and close range fighters here, we could use a good long distance type. I'd offer to introduce you to the guild master, but the idiot is away on a bit of business for right now..." He smiled gently at her, waving his hand gently in her direction with one hand, and towards the exit with his other. He was unsure of this girl's temperament or powers, and wanted to make sure the weaker guild members wouldn't be subject to any possible outbursts: drunken or otherwise. Hopefully she'd like the booze enough not to notice his hand signals.

"In the meantime, please, allow me to serve you as you like from the bar: my treat. I'd like to get to know you a little before you meet the others."

xxxIt was a shame too, Nebula really wanted to go toe-to-toe with the Sabertooth Guild Master, wouldn't it be a blast to tango with the strongest guy in the guild? None the less, Nebula was lazing about for too long, she wanted to get to the meat and bone of her conversation before she kicks off into battle-mode. "Aha, you know, I thought you were the guild master with how fatherly you seem to everyone," the woman pointed out, her tone of voice deeper and slower. She had noticed the peculiar hand gesture from the man, pondering over what he was doing. Maybe it was his age catching up with him, maybe he's had a few drinks himself. No, he was too articulate to be drunk. She had concluded that he was just being flamboyant in his hand gestures, old people are famous for their exaggerations, whether verbal or physical. If she had a jewel for every time an old fart complained about a broken hip after getting a paper cut...

"Any who, can I get a Bloody Mary? Please?" Nebula raised her brows at the elder, flashing a dainty grin at his direction. Using the bars tool next to her, Nebula kicked her foot up to use it as a foot stool. "What would you like to know about me, Mr. Velimir?" The young woman slid back her glass to the older gentleman behind the counter, and began to tap her finger against the counter. "I'm from Oshibana Town, my birthday is in August, my hobbies are card games, playing the piano and saxophone, and mathematics- believe it or not." Nebula wasn't wrong with that short description, she is a woman of many talents. "My dreams are to stay financially stable, live long, and know a lil' more about myself along the way," she finished her statement with a smile. "Oh, and I like alcohol too... Anything else you wish to know about me?"

When 'Olivia' told him that he seemed fatherly, Vel stopped in his tracks. He had not been called that very often in his life; much less by someone who knew quite literally nothing about him. But years of practice and the excuse of being old would, hopefully, allow him to pass off his pause without incident. "No, Miss Olivia, I am not the Guild Master. But, I have been a member of this guild since before most of our current members were born. If I'm being honest, I've been alive since before some of their parents were born. Kind of humbling to think about, really." He could not tell if it was the martini making his lips loose or his own desire to be forthcoming, but for whatever reason, he found himself willing to speak to this young woman.

The please earned a small smile, and Vel simply nodded before turning around and mixing the drink. He let the young woman speak, spilling a considerable amount of information about herself in the meantime, both through omission and inclusion... She chooses to speak of her future and present, excluding most of her past except for the bare minimum information. I suppose I shouldn't judge there... but hmm... It was then that Vel noted that all of the members below B ranking had left the guild hall. And that 'Olivia' had her feet up on a stool. Velimir slid the drink to the young woman and pointed at her feet. "Feet off the stools, please. I have enough of a time keeping the place clean as it is. And yes, I do have a couple of questions for you. First of all, what is your view on Dark Guilds? For that matter, what do you think of Legal Guilds? Secondly, join me for a game of pool. I want to see how good your mathematics skills are..." Without delaying, Vel sauntered around the edge of the bar, and over to his favorite table. Hung on the wall above it was his personal pool stick, which he carefully removed from the rack on the wall that it alone occupied. He set himself to setting the table, resting the stick against it. Without looking up at the young woman, Velimir asked with a small smirk, "So why Sabertooth, little miss Olivia?"

xxxIf Nebula didn't have to fight the old man eventually, she would have actually respected him, but maybe she already was. "You hold a lot of history, I bet you have a lot of embarrassing stories about the other guild members, ahaha." Nebula caught the drink Vel had slid to her, and reluctantly removed her foot from the stool, rubbing the back of her head, "My bad, I have a way to go with house training; which is ironic considering I find myself cleaning a lot when I'm at home..."

Nebula took a sip of her drink, and gingerly placed it next to her. She had expected Velimir to ask about Dark Guilds, Broken Crown was one, right? "I can't say I know too much about them minus the Magic Council and Dark Guilds butt heads like school girls fighting over a boy, ahaha," she took another sip of her drink, and sighed. "Legal Guilds on the other hand," Nebula gracefully shrugged, "I'm here, aren't I?" Nebula had never been too familiar with Legal Guilds, so she never really grew an opinion on them. The only information she's had on legal guilds came from people who didn't necessarily like them: A majority of her guild members. "I respect what they do in terms of commerce and getting reckless mages off the streets, but they seem too damn idealistic at times... I really don't know. Yet, I'm here..."

Upon Vel's offer to play pool, Nebula's smirk could only grow by this point, she couldn't remember the last time she's played pool. Actually, if she wasn't mistaken, Nebula's last memories of pool were during her foster home days; the nun who ran the home had a hankering for pool, so Nebula and the other kids would steal her balls and use loose wooden sticks to enact a pool game. Once Nebula was living with Lassie, she was able to go toe-to-toe with a few of her cohorts in actual pool tournaments. This should be fun... "Aha, I'd thought you'd never ask, it would be a pleasure," Nebula took a sip of her drink and set it down next to her to save for later. She got up from the stool, dusting off the other stool she rested her foot on with a handkerchief, and made her way to the well-kept table. It appeared that Vel was very familiar with this game, his pool stick looked particularly different compared to the others standing by the wall.

As Nebula picked out a stick and applied chalk to the tip of her pool stick, the woman had been taken aback by Velimir's next question. "To be frank with you, Mr. Velimir, being from Oshibana and all, it just seemed like a pain to move to another city to join another guild. Besides..." Nebula walked to the pool table, thinking about what balls she could claim. "I heard that Sabertooth makes the best drinks in Fiore, I may just have to attest to that!" Nebula knew her answer wouldn't quite fly with the elderly man, so she gave her reason for joining Broken Crown instead, surely it would be more convincing. "Okay, all jokes aside- mind if I claim stripes? And also, I don't know, I guess..." Nebula tied her long hair up in a ponytail so she could get it out of her face. "I wanted to just be a part of something greater, something that will make me look back at my life and finally say 'Wow Olivia, you did the right thing for once.'"

                                                          ooc Let's do this!!! >: )

As Olivia brought up embarrassing stories about his guild mates, Velimir smirked and stepped back from the set table. "More than you can imagine, little lady. Now, do you want to break, or shall I?" He watched the girl to see her form and skill in action: but also to gauge her reaction to his next comment. He had listened to her entire spiel patiently and quietly. She was exuberant and sardonic, her wit matched only by her forthcoming heart. "I see you are a pragmatic, honest young woman with a lazy streak and a solid belief in the way you understand the world. I think you will do well here. The desire to have well-earned pride in your actions is proof enough for me." He smiled a mischievous little smile before continuing, "Your desire to pick stripes, however, is one I don't understand the significance of. Perhaps you're just a touch neurotic? Hahaha... But yeah, go for it. Remember, you won't be able to use any magic to help with this shot. I refuse to allow any cheating at my table." And so, he rested with his hands upon his pool stick, resting and watching her shot.

As discretely as he could, he motioned with his eyes at the remaining low ranking members that it was probably safe to lower their guards just a little. This was accompanied with a slight tilting of his head in their direction. He hoped Olivia wouldn't catch on just yet, if at all. He knew people hated being dealt with like they were dangerous, but he couldn't help it.

xxxNebula smirked and kissed her teach at Velimir's 'neurotic' comment, which also won a toothy smirk from the woman. If Velimir looked close enough, he would notice the young woman's shark-like chompers. "Wowie, with how analytic you are, I would have assumed you were the guild's therapist, if I didn't know any better," she admitted, removing the triangular encasing around the pool balls. She watched as the two and eight balls slowly would roll out of their triangular formation. "You wound me, Mr. Velimir," Nebula said with feign sadness, "I have SOME talent in knocking some balls into a few holes, geez~"

Nebula would lean against the pool table, resting her upper right thigh on the wooden frame of the pool table, readying her pool stick to knock the white ball into the broken triangular formation, hopefully in attempts to separate them. As she struck her pool stick against the white ball, Nebula would glance over at Velimir, who was giving the same hand gesture from before. "I see," she thought, raising her brows in amusement of the elder's sneaky strategizing. Nebula looked back at the billiards, watching as a solid color ball was hanging from the edge of a probably opening. One striped ball was a few inched away from the upper right hole, leaving an opportunity for Nebula to land one in. "Your turn!" Nebula mumbled, gently tapping her stick against the floor while gesturing the pool table with a wink. "You don't have to thank me for lending you a hand with that solid," Nebula noted with a smirk, "I know well-enough that you'll need the extra help," she teased.

                                                          ooc Let's do this!!! >: )
