PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS Gargans come in three sub-species: the common land-dwelling Teshua, the sea-dwelling Negansi, and the desert-dwelling Wealmu. All Gargans are generally no more than 4 feet tall, with slender, humanoid bodies, albeit with bipedal legs and bizarre features. Still, they each consistently possess two eyes (albeit with nictitating membrane), a nose, and a mouth with flat teeth. The Teshua seem to have the most endurance, the Negansi can breathe for long periods underwater, and the Wealmu require little water.

SOCIETAL INFORMATION They’re considered quite primitive, having no clothes and no real sense of shelter except for caves or the dirt beneath them. Their languages don’t follow any pattern, and seem to be based on the volume of the sounds they make to communicate. In the presence of beings that are threatening and larger than them, they unanimously perform the same action: they run in panicked circles, and don’t seem to have any way to defend themselves.
