In a flurry of leaves that had involuntarily left their branches, Rainbow Dash darted into the tree. "Ah man! That felt great!" She said as she threw up her brakes to land on a branch outside her little nest/home.
She stretched her wings in and out, a cool down exercise after sprinting around the treetop a few times. This was the life for her, the breeze flowing through her mane, the freedom of an open sky. "I should track down Lightning Dust and give her a good race sometime." Rainbow Dash thought out loud as she finished her stretches. Rainbow Dash
knew she would win, but a race with a fast friend always helped push her to be her very best.
Rainbow Dash took a seat, kicking up her hooves and admiring her wall of trophies. Each trophy had a precious memory attached to it, some of them even had important life lessons she had learned. Her eyes stopped at a pendant. Rainbow Dash laughed at the memory of competing to be the wife of the chieftain. It had been a relief that he hadn't been the actual prize, she wasn't sure what sort of chieftain's wife she would have made.
