Yongen Backstreets

[The Sleepiest Backstreet in Tokyo]

One of the quietest and strangest neighborhoods in all of Tokyo, Yongen-Jaya has perhaps the most lopsided ratio of 'citizens-to-weirdness' in the entire city. From the infamous 'Plague' doctor who uses home-grown medicines to treat illnesses that hospitals can't to a rooftop batting cage to the best little cafe that nobody's heard of...and that's saying nothing of the fact that to the obliviousness of the entire neighborhood, it harbors the headquarters of the infamous Phantom Thieves!

Despite the small locale there are other locations to visit as well, from the Bathhouse to the Laundromat to the Supermarket and a small theater...it may be quiet, but you never know what you'll find in Yongen-Jaya.

[Locations include: Cafe LeBlanc, Dr. Tae Takemi's Medical Practice, Movie Theater, Rooftop Batting Cages, Bathhouse, Laundry, Antique Shop, and more...!]
