[Abbadon & Ahriman live in a unique situation. Their chances to play are limited between teachings of other things, things that are just as unique as their situation.]

The pair had been curled up without a care in the world when the night began and slowly they split off to curl up by themselves. The cave which they called their home was warm, far to warm for the cuddly little boys and girls that Sabia`Deimos herded there many times throughout the day for various reasons.

When the morning arrived it was chaos. Not unusual chaos though, rather normal chaos to be precise. Abbadon was up first and being the first of 8 cubs awake he was incredibly proud - when he'd stretched, got to his paws and stifled a large yawn he was off. Those little paws scurried, scampered and aided him in clambering up the dark side of his father, then right to the squishy side of his mother. The clambering caused an 'oof' sound from the pair of parents that weren't ready for the day to begin, not yet.

"Can I go out to play? Caaaaan I?" The question, perhaps the same question asked daily, was dragged out and a pair of pleading golden eyes stared into the soul of his agitated looking mother who gave a short nod. With the approval granted he wasted very little time. "Ahriman?" He hissed as he freed himself from the pelt of his mother that had bunched up between her and his father. As he tried to gain his brothers attention he spied his mothers mask - ooo..

Shoving, clambering and a general curiosity made the red cub pop open a golden eye that matched his brothers and stare in the general direction of their parents. Though, it wasn't until his brother spoke that he moved - post haste. "Coming." He hissed back and hurried passed the bodies of their siblings, as well as their parents - just in case they had any followers or their parents had changed their minds.

"You're thinking what I'm thinking?" The words had barely been out of his mouth when he watched as Abbadon scooted near the mask, sneakily snuck his fingers beneath its rim before scooping it up and bolting. Yep - it seemed they were on the same page, as per usual.

Once they were outside, paws touching the dampness of morning dew on the grass as they exited their home the twin sets of golden eyes sought out a place to go and hide with their prize. "There!" Ahriman pointed a clawed toe in the general direction of a bush that was their typical go to for just these moments. (It was clear that crime wasn't punished very hard, or they simply never learned - very likely the latter.) "We can go hide by the God." He offered to Abbadon and received a nod of approval.

The pair bolted in that general direction, Abbadon had the mask on his back like a strange cape of bone.

The bush was a fantastic idea, Abbadon couldn't disagree with that, the added idea of visiting the God was even better - the God being there was an incredible reminder of just how powerful they were or would become. The running halted for a moment though and he felt his brother collide with his backside. "Wait, I want to sit for a second - there is a stone in my paw." He stated plainly, then sheltered himself with the bushes for a moment and raised the afflicted paw to inspect it. There wasn't a stone, but a small cut.

"Darn it." He cursed, ears flipping back. "I cut my paw again." He raised a lip in a childish snarl to display his disgust at his own weakness. His mother had told him that as a young cub (much, much younger than he was now) he'd hurt his paw and it never quite healed. This was the aftermath of such things and so he already knew how to care for it, a few quick swipes of his tongue to clear away some debris and he was good as new. When his golden eyes left his paw and looked up he was startled by how close his brother had come to his side. "Geeze." He stated as he nearly leaped out of his skin.

"Cmon." He began to lead the way again, something that was a little strange - considering Ahriman had gotten the leadership skills for the most part, but every once in a while he got lucky and was able to take over. "Over here, look!" The pair of them had nearly over shot the area where prisoners were held, a dungeon of sorts that was shielded by a contraption to keep the God at bay. Unfortunately there hadn't been a thought about cubs getting in or out so the pair were able to slip on in, mask and all.

Ahriman followed his brother diligently and even halted upon request to glance at the paw - something he knew to be a nuisance for his sibling. When the rock didn't turn out to exist and instead was a cut he worried briefly, but not nearly enough to voice his concern. So when all was in the clear he took off without question or even a word. Not long after their pit stop they were rounding on the cave which held a foe the pride was proud of having on their grounds.

When they entered the prison turned torture chamber he found the ground to be damp and cold, with the slim amount of light they had he spied that the liquid making the ground moist was blood, not the waters leaking from cavern walls. Instead of gasping, screaming or even feeling any typical emotion related to the substance he actually smiled then carried on. The twin pair of golden eyes were slightly wide though as they took in the scene.

The God that had been captured wasn't huge by any means, but still held the most typical characteristics. The being before them was golden, where the blood hadn't yet tainted his pelt and weak, very weak. The cage was likely an unnecessary addition as it seemed the being couldn't move. When Ahriman brought his attention back to his brother he noticed that Abbadon had moved on and found a place to sit with the mask.

"Did Mom tell you how she got that?"

"I'm okay y'know." Abbadon answered the silent question about his paw and watched his brother offer an appreciative smile in recognition of the statement. The words echoed along the walls of their new found play space. Alongside his brother he stared up at the God in disbelief. They'd always had one around, but the rumors he'd heard from the other members wandering around was that capturing such a creature was an incredible act - what was so incredible? Even his eyes seemed to frown at the damaged goods laying before him.

With the effects wearing off he went deeper, just beyond where the light touched before he set down the mask and soon after that himself. His rump hit the ground with a shallow thump and then he patiently awaited his brother. "No." He admitted. "Though whoever she wears probably deserves it." He growled (a pathetic little sound) and tapped the bone piece thoughtfully. "I bet it's the old Queen." He said, a small gasp causing his jaws to open and he widened his eyes to complete the look.

"What do you think Ahriman?" He inquired, lifting his paw away from the mask to attend to an itch he'd been ignoring. "Do you think she killed for it? Or do you think she found it?" The options were dim, but the obvious choice was there and with the stories they'd heard growing up it was of no surprise they'd think this way.

"The old Queen?" Ahriman asked as he approached the mask with a lack lustre attitude. The piece had held no meaning to him, but now it appeared more significant when his brother had pointed out such a possibility. "It makes sense. I heard she'd disappeared." This was simply how rumors started, good ones and bad ones. Had the pair known what kind of thing they were really talking about they'd have likely realized how heavy the topic had become, but neither of them was aware.

"Do you think Mom would answer if we asked?" He inquired after resting a paw on the piece and twisting it to face him. The eye holes appeared to be bottomless pits of darkness - just darkness. "Maybe not." He argued with himself while Abbadon looked back at the God. Their mother hadn't taken part in the capture of the creature next to them, but they had been the reason why, rumor had it that she'd regretted not being their and participating in the event, but that was old news.

"We should just ask."

He offered with a shrug that brought his brothers attention back to him. "Later." Was the response he'd gotten from Abbadon, the response was accompanied with a wave of his paw. "Let's decide what to do with it for now, who cares where it came from." A wicked grin grew upon his face and his eyes narrowed making him look rather menacing.
