I got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine. I got a love, and I know that it's all mine.
XXXSomeone was in the house, she could tell by the way that the shoes by the front door were slightly rearranged. Along with that, there were another pair of shoes right next to hers, a pair of shoes that she could have sworn she's seen before, but couldn't quite pin the owner of the small boots. She poked the boots for a moment before deciding to take off her shoes, and stuff her socks within the tiny, red, flats. With a hum of curiosity, Oda shuffle-jogged towards the source of noise: The Kitchen. She peaked her head through the kitchen door, and could only see Takeda from where she was, sitting by the oven, eating what appeared to be meat, from the floor.
"Psst... Takito!" The girl whispered, loudly enough for Takeda and unintentionally--- Oda's mother to hear. The noise had paused, and the sound of bubbling echoed in the room, followed by a disgruntled sigh from the cat. "And just when I thought that I could be away from the brat for a while!" The cat groaned, getting up from where he sat. From what Oda could hear, there was someone else in the room, possibly Danny, pulling out a knife from the knife rack. She heard some passionate and angry whispering from said person, but couldn't quite catch what was said.
She was Takeda take a few steps back, apologizing to the person, his paws raised and his tails upright in fear. Realizing that her friend was in danger, Oda rushed into the kitchen. "It's okay Takito! I will save y-" Instead of some angry bloke stealing things from their kitchen, or threatening to kill Takeda, it was actually her mother. Her mother? Her mother!!! Oda couldn't contain her excitement and happiness as the woman turned around from chopping up some scallions, and gave a smile towards the four-year-old. "I was hoping that you'd be out a little longer, I wanted to surprise you and your father. However, since you're here... Want some Takoyaki, sweetie?" The short woman asked, presenting a tiny bowl with a single ball of takoyaki in the center, still bubbling from the oil that it was cooking in.
The little girl whimpered quietly, before the whimpering became louder, and she found herself crying as she ran into her mother's arm, almost causing her mother to drop the bowl by accident. "Momaaaaa!" Oda squealed in her mother's leg, bursting into heavy tears by this point. Laughing quietly, her mother placed the bowl to the counter, and picked up her daughter, holding her close. "Why are you crying? You're a Feudal Lord..." The woman asked jokingly, which made Oda giggle quietly in response, and once again wrap her arms around the woman by the shoulders, nuzzling her cheek against her mother's.
"Moma! Momaaaaa! You're still smoll!" This caused her mother to frown only a bit, before smiling once again like a good sport. "It's only been two weeks. But I suppose those have been he longest weeks of our lives... I'm sorry sweetheart." The young woman said, still holding her daughter in her arms. Sebastian had kissed her daughter's forehead, and tried to set her down, but Oda wasn't prepared to let go. It was until Sebastian mentioned something about takoyaki, did Oda let go, and jump up and down in joy, still sniffing from her emotional session.
"It's hot now... Eh?" Before Sebastian could turn around to give the takoyaki in the bowl she had for Oda, Takeda had beaten her to it, and began to eat the takoyaki that had been out of the oil. "TAKEDA! FOR GOD'S SAKE, GET OUT OF THE BOWL OF TAKOYAKI BEFORE WE EAT YOU FOR LUNCH." At that instant, Takeda had scurried out of the kitchen, and into the den, a good amount of Takoyaki lodged in his big mouth. Sebastian had sighed, but soon enough began to giggle, mentally cursing the day she met that cat, at the same time, she had mentally thanked him for not being that wretched.
Sebastian took a few pieces of takoyaki out of the bowl, and placed them in a smaller bowl for her daughter to take. With a large grin, Oda took the bowl, and began to munch down on the octupus, making audible 'noms' with each bite. This... This is going to be a good day!
Do what you want, but you're never gonna break me. Sticks and stones are never gonna shake me.
O.O.C...

XXX►►►xxIndeed it was a rather eventful day so far thanks to Danny’s lollygagging and falling asleep on the job, were it not for the woman there who was in Oda’s company, Shigehara may have given the young man a much worse punishment. However thanks to the aforementioned woman and the fact that Danny did not intentionally fall asleep, his punishment would be reduced to a ten page essay on Child Care and Safety, for it to be acceptable he would have to get a perfect score on it as well, not even a single mistake would be permitted. He was happy that nothing bad happened to his little girl; had she been injured, kidnapped, or killed then nothing would stop the force of nature that is Shigehara’s rage. After spending some time at the park with his little Fuedal Lord, he would take her home for some Father Daughter time which he hoped would take her mind off of her Mother being gone so often, yet he was happy she missed her so much. The Samurai loved his family, this fact was obvious to any who may catch him staring deeply into the small photo of the two invaluable girls he calls his wife and daughter that he has in his pocket.
As the father had entered their massive abode, Oda getting a head start, something had caught his eye as he removed his shoes. Someone else was here and Shigehara could immediately tell who that person was which had brought about that ever so illusive smile upon his face. Leaving as quickly as it went to save face, or perhaps it was due to his inability to smile for long periods of time, Shigehara had slowly headed to the kitchen, silently rejoicing once Oda had let out a sweet cry for the woman they both held so dear and near to their hearts. If his heart had wings it would surely have gone to that woman the moment he walked through the door, yet his body would move at the same pace he was now. Whether it be out of fear it might be someone who used magic to trick Oda or his desire to savor seeing his treasured wife again after such a long time, Shigehara would slowly make his way to the kitchen where he could smell his wife’s cooking, something he had greatly missed in these coming days. He respected Seb’s work as the Head in Command of the Rune Knights greatly, but he did admit he held some selfishness in regards to his wife; every now and then he had desired she would skip work during these long times so that she may spend time with her family, but he knew how greatly the Magic Council and her men needed her during these times, so all he could do is hope she’ll come back home with that smile which was one of many reasons he loved her so much.
Soon the time had come when Shigehara had walked into the kitchen, his face as stoic as ever with his eyes that can barely hide his excitement had been glued toward his wife’s and daughter’s direction. It was indeed her, there was no trace of any trickery, it wasn’t some other woman Oda was clinging to, it was without a doubt his wife. “Nice to see such a loveable face in this house again….” The Chaianese man would say to her, trying his best not to let loose his excitement in order to keep up his stoic lover aesthetic, figuring that Seb may be displeased at the sight of him suddenly showing overwhelming amounts of emotion. He wanted to be someone she could brag about, someone she would let the whole world know that he was the one lucky enough to marry her so that no one would dare have an inkling of stealing her away from him. Keeping his excitement at bay, he would approach his wife and daughter before hugging them both, their heights which was dwarfed compared to his own and the fact Seb was still holding her daughter had made the hug all the easier. As hard as it was, Shige would bury himself into Seb’s head, subtly allowing her scents to invade his nose. He had greatly missed his wife and now that she was here it would be hard for him to let go.
As he continued to hold her, he had only just now notice that she was wearing her kimono which always looks dazzling when worn by her. While it was beautiful by itself, Shigehara always felt as though it was made to be worn by Sebastian. The day she had received it from his Sister, her beauty in it alone made him feel as though he had fallen for her again; he could remember clearly how much his sister teased him about him actually blushing, a rare occurrence for him. If he could relive every moment with Sebastian he would, both the good and the bad, it matter naught to him, so long as she was there with him it was a memory worth reliving. After a while of allowing his nose to be invaded, Shigehara would hesitantly lift his face from his wife’s soft head before giving it a much needed pet. “Welcome home....” He would say in the a cool and suave tone of voice, a hint of notable relief breaking through, wanting her to know that he had not wavered in his feelings for her while she was gone and that her absence hadn’t angered him.
The Father and Husband was indeed glad to be able to hold this beautiful woman he had grown to love and even married in his arms again; it felt like it had been an eternity since he was able to hold her like this which he may have a hard time letting go now that she was in his arms. It somewhat saddened him that she had to work so much and for so long, he wished he could take on some of her work but he was no Rune Knight so doing such a thing may be out of bounds even if he was the First God of Ishgar. The only thing he could do was hope that his beautiful wife would not be overcome by stress, he could only hope that her will shall not waver.

XXX►►►xxIt had been awhile since Shigehara had a lovely sleep such as this one, it was likely because he was able to sleep in the same bed as his lovely wife, not to mention their beautiful daughter was able to see her mother again after so long. These were the joys of being a Husband and Father, such joys made any and all troubles with being either go away and be worth it in a instant. So long as he had these two in his life, so long as they were a family then nothing could ever make him feel lost or alone. The incredibly happy man was in a dreaming slumber where he had dreamed that he, Sebastian, and Oda were all in the country of Chaian, enjoying a calming picnic in one of the various cherry blossom tree hills of the country during Spring. There they enjoyed meals prepared by Sebastian and tea carefully and lovingly made by Shigehara as they enjoyed the beautiful sight of cherry blossoms falling from the many trees. This peaceful dream would end rather abruptly however as his wife had let out a scream, causing Shigehara's eyes to shoot open. As he sat up, he saw a familiar young man fall off the edge of his bed and could hear him scurry under the bed.
It was rather obvious, even without looking at him, that Shigehara was not pleased with his family's morning being disturbed in such a way. His spirits were nearly lifted at the sight of his daughter bravely rushing in to protect her parents, but her act of bravery soon crumbled as her plush sword turned out to be plastic which made one thing obvious for Shigehara and now he was angry. Like a beast, he had punched through his and Sebastian's bed, his hand grabbing a hold of Danny's head to ensure he did not get away. Then he had drawn a pentagram in the air with his right index finger, generating a ofuda composed of magic that lightly stuck itself to Oda's wound before healing it. With his Daughter hopefully feeling better now, Shigehara had let out words that would terrify any man. "Danny....I hope for your sake you have a good reason for being so close to my sleeping wife...." Such words from a man of Shigehara's stature were not to be taken lightly, especially with his Wife being the topic around it. Depending on how things went, Danny may receive a worse punishment than writing a ten page essay with zero mistakes.

XXX►►►xxThe young man known as Danny was in certain trouble, there was absolutely no doubt about that. He had invaded their home, he threw their daughter out of their bed, and he was lying close to his sleeping wife. Never mind the fact Danny was snuggling his boss’ husband, this boy had seen Sebastian being indecent and removed Oda from her Parents’ bed! Such acts would not be treated with kindness, even if Danny begged. As much as Shigehara wished to punish the young man, he had to get ready for today as he had several things to do today in regards with the Magic Council and he imagined Sebastian did as well in regards to the Wolf Attack pandemic happening all around the country. The Samurai was still concerned about his Wife in regards to the amount of work she would have to do. This whole thing was still unsolved and it could be something more than just a bunch of rampant wolves attacking everything. If it was just wolves then it wouldn’t be this bad, but for them to be attacking so viciously and going out of their way to attack humans outside of their habitats. Before going into deeper thought, he had pulled Danny’s head through the hole Shigehara had punched through and simply left him there. “Dear I’m going to take a bath and get dressed for the day...I’ll leave his punishment up to you.” He had said before getting out of bed and walked towards the bathroom but not before giving Sebastian a kiss on the lips and Oda a kiss on the forehead. As he entered the bathroom, he turned both faucets to full, ensuring that he had moderately tempered water, wishing to leave all the hot water to his wife and daughter. As the tub filled, the Samurai got out of what little clothing he had on which he had slept in. This father, for all the strength he had, could not help but worry for his beautiful wife and dream of a daughter. The future was a unforeseeable thing, while some magics could predict the future, it was hard to say whether or not trying to change the future would bring about a worse fate, this was what he thought before stopping the faucet and getting into the lukewarm tub. He wished he could take away any suffering either of them may have down the road. He didn’t care how unfair that might be to the world, so long as those two were in utter bliss then he couldn’t be happier. As he was in the moderately temperature water, he stared at the ceiling, wondering what the future would have in store for Oda. Would she be happy and follow the path her mother took? He hoped so. He did not want her to follow a path similar to her Father’s as not once during his childhood did he ever fight back, never did he consider that what he was being put through was wrong until it was too late. To see his little girl become a tool for some fool’s greed...It would be too much for Shigehara to bare. If that were to ever happen, then the fool and any associated with them would have much to fear.
