She'd been shown a proper circuit around Destiny City - maybe once. Cerissé Belcourt had done similar paces in what bare free time she allowed herself in the same rounds, trying to keep in mind what Jade ( Marcasite, it was a strange distinction to keep) had said about it all. Still, she didn't like finding herself unprepared - and Cerissé no, Tantalite had become determined to fix it. Even if it made her feel like a fool. She hated feeling like a fool. And what was she supposed to do with this? Tantalite paused in her paces to regard the '''''weapon''''' in her hands. As a violinist, the bow felt wrong in her hands as she regarded the bowstrings, wanting nothing more than to needle at it in the same way she did the strings of her violin, or even the actual bow she played it with. Frankly, holding it in any which way one would a weapon would cement but a single thought: She hadn't even had so much as a cat fight to her name to put a sense of battle into her. It was a thought that lingered as she continued along, making certain to keep out of the obvious light and trying to at least keep her wits about her to keep from being snuck up on. Grymoire I am sorry for this potato of a start. :V I am reaaaalllyy rusty on the setting so I'm trying to be vague.

He was finally starting to find a balance between keeping up with his job and keeping up with Uvarovite's life. Working on the high school helped since the work load was less demanding and was easier to keep on a fixed schedule. It also helped that plenty of the staff were in the same boat he was. When everyone was suffering the same it made the suffering seem a little less painful. At least for those of them that were older. Twirling his watch around as if it were a toy he paused at the end of a street. There was another Lieutenant wandering about looking half lost and half annoyed at the universe. Stepping out just behind her he smirked. "Did you leave the violin at home?"

In her surprise, Tantalite spun around so quickly that if she hadn't pulled the bow into her chest, she likely would have thwacked the other Lieutenant with it. For a few delicious moments, he'd get to see the look of surprise on her face before she managed to smooth everything into place and regain her composure. She didn't answer immediately, turning the bow over in her hand as she regarded him. Well, she'd guess him to be somewhat on her side of the court, at least. "Of course," she stated, her tone prim and proper as she seemed to make herself out to be at any given time. "And by my own guesses," her green eyes trailed pointedly to the watch he played with in his hand, "that there's no white rabbit to be found in your company?" Because she wasn't about to ask if he was late for a very important date.

"Unfortunately the white rabbit could never actually make it to dates on time so I had to dump him." He smirked, glad she was at least playful. "I am afraid I traded him in for a rather confusing cat." That was at least an easy enough way to refer to Tourmaline. "She has other duties to attend to at the moment though so no. You just get me." He reached up and set a hand on the brim of his hat so it stayed in place as he bowed slightly. "Uvarovite, at your service."

"Mmm, they do have a tendency for being late," she agreed, easing a bit. "So a very busy cat," she braved the slightest smile, amused by the foray into Wonderland puns. Not usually how she went about her evening, yet he looked so much the part. As Uvarovite was spelt wrong 6 different times by Pach bowed, Tantalite offered a slight curtsy of her own. "Very nice to meet you, I'm Tantalite." Hooooo, she was glad she'd gotten the right name out of her mouth. Would have been awkward to straight up flub into 'Hi, I'm Cerissé, whoops, I mean heck.' situation. "Patrolling, or on the hunt?" she inquired.

"That is why I much prefer the company of cats. They don't eve give you the idea they'll ever be on time. They just show up exactly when they mean to." He straightened back up and made sure his hat was on correctly before dropping one hand into his pocket. Pulling it out he opened his palm, showing off a starseed. "I was hunting. Given that my prey lost for the evening I am just enjoying the night now." It was getting easier to pull the seeds from his victims, getting easier to think of them as just energy rather than the people they were.

"Ah, but there's something special about a cat making time for you," she chuckled lightly, though really she'd never really had a soft spot in her heart for any animal. Perhaps she simply hadn't the right interaction to feel it. She regarded the starseed as he showed it to her, brows raising slightly before she nodded, slowly. "Well, you've certainly had a productive evening thus far," It had been far more productive than hers had been - but hers had also just begun. "I can't say it isn't a nice evening to be out for a walk - assuming certain meddlers stay out of your hair, of course." Where the Negaverse liked to play, the Senshi certainly had a way of showing up to ruin the fun.

He tucked the starseed back into his pocket with a nod. "One should always appreciate it when a cat deems you worthy of their time. Though quite often they like to do it when it is most inconvenient." That seemed to just be the way they were. "The meddlers seem to have taken the night off. At least I have not seen any of them so far." It was always a plus when none of them showed up and got in the way. They were a nuisance at this point and not one he could deal with all that well depending on their magic.

"Or not stick around for any time worth enjoying," felines were fickle, after all and often left just as quickly as they showed up. Walk-bys or something. " Well, hearing the night is so free makes it sound like there's a lot of fun to be had," it was strange to think of something besides playing her violin as being fun. She'd absorbed so much of her life into it, that before Tantalite...well, she'd never have been the sort to romp through the night like a little miscreant. "On an adventure or off to somewhere in particular?"

"Now now, some cat's aren't that bad. Just your average one." He rather liked cats in general but had never bothered getting a pet himself. It always seemed like it would be unfair to the animal since he was so rarely home. Now he was home even less. "I was returning from my adventure. If I prefer the scenic rout this is the best way to return home." And there was a good place to power down a few blocks from his home that he'd become fond of. "What about you?"

"Ah, off to an evening's respite." She was almost jealous. However, being young and new, it took a bit for her to feel as though she had ever earned such a thing. "I'll be off to continue my rounds until I find trouble or trouble finds me. Whichever comes first," though frankly, she would have preferred neither. Just because she was out for mischief didn't mean she was exactly keen on a fight. "That said, I hope your travel back home is meddler-free."

"One can only home." He laughed softly, giving her another slight bow. "Trouble tends to wander about in the most unexpected places." He took a couple steps around her so he could continue on his way down the street. "Oh ... if you do ever wish to find me again. Visit the Rift. I do tend to like wandering around where the ferals are. It's quite interesting." And a good place to get lost but she would figure that out fast enough if she decided to go down there.

Ah, a little poetic, wasn't it? "Well, I can't say I've been down that far, but maybe I will." Which was a whimsical thought she most definitely wouldn't follow up on for absolutely no reason. He hadn't been that charming, after all. "Be safe, perhaps another night." She still had some patrolling to do and frankly - some nice ol' starseeds to collect to her own name.
