Etoile was out on a walk, out to stargaze... and maybe find some more people who would give her treats. Alise had left her bedroom window open for Etoile to sneak back in later on, when it was time to return home, so there was no worries about being locked out again, hopefully.
Generally, Etoile didn't stray super far, anyway, unless Alise was toting her around to scout out her classmates as future senshi. She was a Mauvian, yes, and sometimes she did Mauvian things, but at the same time, she
really loved watching television, and the idea of missing out on her favorite shows was really horrifying. How would she live with herself if she missed out on who was advancing to the finals of
America's Got Talent, or who didn't get a rose in
The Bachelor? The fact that even after all these years they had been living together, Alise hadn't told her mother about Etoile helped, as the little cat was supposed to remain in hiding in the teen's room, and not to be seen.
It was a warm spring night, so she wasn't in any danger of freezing to death, though her little caplet helped Etoile keep warm just in case. While she had gone out with the express purpose of stargazing, the little cat had no specific destination in mind, and found herself wandering for now...
... That is, until she caught the unmistakable scent of
candy. If there was anything Etoile was talented at, it was sniffing out the treats, even if they were hidden. All she had to do was just follow her nose, and eventually, it should lead her to the treasure.
