Kamacite felt as though his heart was going to beat out of his chest. He was cornered with nowhere to run and there was an aura of a White Moon senshi close by. He clutched tightly to the starseed that he’d taken from some junkie who’d already been passed out in the alley. Maybe someone had already drained his energy, but with the starseed there for easy taking, Kamacite wasn’t about to give up that opportunity.

There was a chance for him to use his magic, of course. He could blind whoever it was, and then make a run for it. But if he didn’t play his cards correctly, if he wasn’t careful about the other senshi’s magic, he might end up stuck in that dead end alley with nowhere to go.

Long black hair cascaded over his shoulders and down his back, masking some of the bright orange that was his uniform, but he was left with the curse of it always being in the way, his hair always getting caught on things.

“Don’t come any closer,” he called out, feeling dazed and desperate, one hand held out as he prepared to use his magic. “I’ll attack. I swear I will.” Maybe that would discourage the other to leave before getting a good look at him and realizing that even with magic, Kamacite wasn’t very physically capable of handling himself in a fight.

There was much to be said for powering up into Aue, but if someone had asked...the brunet would have said most of those things weren't good. It may have been his particular outlook, his ethnicity that lent to a sort of never-ending displeasure with having to 'make-nice' with others, or it just might have been that the Senshi of Lemons really was as sour as his sphere suggested. Regardless, when he'd felt a low-level Chaos aura creep it's way along his spine and settle into his back teeth like a dull ache, he'd decided to go see.

Labyrinthite was gone, but he still had the pack to answer to. Might as well continue learning what he could.

The other was a corrupted senshi - Aue could tell by the hellaciously long hair, cracked forehead, and the weirdly twisted aura. Ugh, I will have long hair too. What a pain...I wonder, does it stay so long when civilian? Or does it just grow each time...Dia's is long always, I think...but that is Dia. A quavery, frightened voice told him to stay back - even going so far as to threaten to attack.

"Attacking me would be very bad for you." His eyes took in the pallid corpse between them, realization hitting - the tiny senshi had taken a star-seed. Good for him. "You have quota to fill, yes? If you do not, your Master will be upset."

"Are you close?"

Kamacite felt a shiver down his spine, unsure of how to take the warning about attacking the other. He very much didn’t want to get killed, or injured at all, and he knew he should have been more cautious with where he was collecting energy and starseeds, but…

If all else failed, he could try to run for it. Although something told him that would probably not be a very good option, either, but there was always -

His panicked thoughts skidded to a temporary stop, and Kamacite blinked in confusion at the much taller man in white and yellow. Kamacite shuffled his feet nervously, the hand he’d held out to prepare his magic curling back in to clutch at the robe over his chest in a partially conscious attempt to hide the hole that seemed to draw plenty of attention.

What was this man’s angle? Why did he want to know about his quota? Was it so he could use that as a reason to attack him?

“My quota has been filled for days… this is… extra,” he said, trying to stand his ground while also trying to keep himself from stupidly trembling from nerves. Starseeds weren’t exactly on the requirement list. This was for his General, which helped him not feel as guilty about, well… killing people. Although that sounded horrible when he thought of it.

Aue watched the corrupt warily, he seemed ready to cast and regardless of what sort of sphere the little s**t had, a hit by magic wasn't exactly something he relished. Still, he didn't have to run or jump or otherwise dodge an incoming attack, for Kamacite's brain seemed to have caught onto the fact that Aue wasn't threatening - and was instead interested in his quota.

"Another over-achiever." The lemon senshi barely held back rolling his eyes, "Still, better than being lazy and being made food for those monsters." 'Monsters' included his idiot General, Wolfeite, not just youma. "You have a demanding Master then. Or one that hungers."

Most seemed to, but some had...stranger hungers than others. Like the Wolfe. Like American McGee's General. Yes, things were odd indeed, but he'd aligned himself with these people and was impatient to be rid of the white colour, to wear black primary and feel the metallic taste of Chaos become not simply familiar, but also comforting.

Necessary.

"I am Aue." A statement, imperious.

The use of the word master, especially after the second use, had a shiver running down Kamacite’s spine, and there was a momentary flash of indignation in his eyes before it quickly faded. Even though Yuuri didn’t like the idea of anyone being his master, the fact of the matter was… he had given himself to the wolf.

I’m yours.

My life is yours. I won’t disappoint you.

Wasn’t that what Kamacite had told the wolf both before and after he was turned into what he was now? Energy being pumped into him to awaken his powers? Even if he tried to argue that no one owned him, his entire life would contradict himself. He was obedient and indulgent and now that the wolf made him into what he was instead of killing him like he easily could have, he absolutely was his master.

That didn’t mean Kamacite had to like the word, though.

“Kamacite,” he introduced, his voice quiet and nervous as he lifted his hand to delicately brush some of the hair from his shoulders, his other hand still clutching tightly to his robes over the hole in his chest. He still didn’t know what this man wanted from him. He seemed to just want to talk.

Talk, while he was also blocking the only exit. Kamacite shivered at the thought of being killed and left there. He didn’t want to imagine the look on his boyfriend’s face when he found out. It was too heartbreaking.

“My… Master… will be angry if I’m late returning. I would hate for him to have to bother himself with trying to find me,” he tried to say without his voice cracking from anxiety. He failed. “I’m sure you understand.”

Aue nodded curtly at having been given the corrupted senshi's call sign. He didn't bother repeating it back, as some had when he had given his own, and instead gauged Kamacite's state from the closed-in way he held himself.

Timid. A mouse. His normal state or a function of corruption? How is something so weak to be of any use? Does his magic make up for his ineffectual air?

"And who is your master, little mouse?" The fact that he'd been out gathering starseeds with his quota for energy full up said that this current statement about his superior officer(s) waiting for him was a lie. Likely one meant to make Aue let him go...unfortunately, that wasn't on the table, not with the shaky way Kamacite spoke, the way his voice broke over the words.

The senshi moved in a bit closer, flashing his teeth as his truer nature - not the mask he presented about Destiny City to seem harmless - came to the fore. "Tell me yours and I'll tell you mine."

Breathe, Kamacite tried to remind himself. Stand your ground. This man wasn’t going to hurt him and even if he tried, Kamacite still had his magic. He could still escape. He just… needed to figure out how to get around him.

He physically flinched at being called little mouse because suddenly he realized maybe his family was warranted in their use of that name for him. A pathetic little mouse who tried to scurry away and hide, one who overreacted and freaked out over little things for attention.

His heart was racing. It was pounding too quickly in his chest. He was feeling dizzy and disoriented. Kamacite took an unsteady step back as the senshi stepped forward, his teeth bared and no longer looking as though he just wanted to talk.

“Solar flare!” Kamacite gasped a shout in knee jerk defense of himself, one hand releasing his robes just long enough to let the magic fill the alleyway with a burst of light.

Run.

It was all he could think to do. He stumbled and winced as he stepped on his overly long hair to try to run towards the shadows of the alley behind him, sending him careening down onto the pavement below, his hands and forearms scuffed and rubbed raw in the process, his chin scratched up from where his face hit the ground as well.

Except he’d completely forgotten in his panic that there was no exit in the particular alleyway. There was nowhere for him to escape. He needed to have tried getting past the senshi if there was any way for him to get out.

There is a brilliant flash of light causing temporary but immediate disorientation and blindness that fades into horribly spotty vision; can last upwards of twenty seconds. The attack does not cause physical damage and is intended as a diversion or distraction. Has an effect radius of 8 feet (although the flash can be seen as one would see any flash), and can be used three times.

Kamacite's strong flinch was the first warning that Aue had perhaps pressed the mousy little corrupt too hard despite the fact that he was using (or thought he was using) kid gloves with him.

The second - and last - warning was the corrupt calling forth his magic, right in Aue's face in all it's bright and misery inducing glory. Aue staggered a bit, vision gone but slowly fading back in; he'd been correct in thinking that Kamacite's magic would have given the Negaverse some sort of benefit in order for him to have been recruited.

While the white moon senshi's eyes were covering from being assaulted, Kamacite stumbled for an unknown reason and that gave Aue a chance to keep his 'companion' from bolting by falling forward to pin what he thought was him (thank ******** the guy wore orange with all that black). One of the other senshi's shoulders provided a guideline for grabbing the attached arm and twisting it none too gently back and up to incapacitate Kamacite.

"I don't know about your General, but mine would rip out your throat with his teeth for this sort of behaviour." Aue hissed the words right into the shell of Kamacite's ear, white spots still dancing in his field of vision. "And if you think I'm joking, he's a Wolf."

He was in the process of getting to his feet, trying to make sure he didn’t step on his hair again as he shakily pushed himself up, but before he could get even halfway off the ground, the white moon senshi practically threw himself on top of him.

Kamacite would have let out a cry of pain or protest or distress, but it felt as though all the air had been knocked from his lungs. He felt like he was being crushed, even with the extra strength he had as a senshi Kamacite couldn’t budge an inch.

On top of that, the man grabbed his arm and twisted it back. Kamacite gasped out a pained, sputtered cry. Tears, from fear and pain and embarrassment and anger, pricked the corners of his eyes as he struggled with all his might to try and free himself, the fingers of his free hand gripping at the ground to try and pull himself free.

But there was no use and he already knew that.

“Get off!” he choked out the broken, distressed words, trying to breathe not just from the weight of the other man, but from the panic swelling inside him, his heart beating so fast he was feeling faint. The lack of air wasn’t helping.

He tried to jerk his head away from the man’s hissed words and the heat of his breath on his ear and side of his face, a pitiful whimper escaping as he tried to come up with something he could do to -

He’s a Wolf.

Kamacite felt as though the air was taken from his lungs a second time. Well, they hadn’t filled properly after the first time, but the words the man said were finally catching up to him.

What did he mean?? He didn’t know about Kamacite’s General, but his... General? Was a Wolf? What did that mean? Aue had asked about Kamacite’s Master and now he was speaking as though they both had Generals. But from what he’d learned, the White Moon didn’t work that way. They didn’t have ranks. They were disorganized and had fighting among them because no one wanted to step back and let one over another take the lead.

So what was this man doing, answering to someone he called a General?

My General - would rip yours to shreds - with his teeth. I - hope they meet,” he struggled to say, breathing still difficult. He wasn’t going to beg for his life if this was the end. He’d tried getting away… Maybe his General would be able to deny ever knowing such a failure of a recruit… Maybe his boyfriend would find someone else to make him happy…

He still tried to squirm about, because he wasn’t giving up yet. It just didn’t look very promising.

Having Kamacite struggling underneath him, making distressed sounds from pain and fear, was a heady drug for Aue. He may have been awakened as a white moon senshi, but there were far too many aspects of his personality that had him better suited for the Negaverse - something that not only Wolfeite, but his other pack members had all commented on. Even the feline that had chucked him kicking violently into this powered life had been dismayed at just how much of an anti-hero Aue seemed to be.

"The hell do you think I know so much about the Negaverse? I work with several of your officers as an informant, you dumb little mouse." It was..so tempting, to break this small senshi, but unless Kamacite was actively trying to kill him, Aue operated under the assumption that he should do everything possible to not harm any of his master's cohorts. Dust monsters were the exception to that rule, however, and the senshi of lemons exploded them with impunity.

"Your General happen to be half monster? Mine is. Got ears and a tail to prove it." Aue eased up the pressure he was putting on Kamacite's lungs, but continued to keep him securely pinned with his own, larger body; the senshi's squirming was aggravating and displeasing, especially as he was holding himself in a weird manner to keep from crushing the other man.

Aue shifted, dropping a knee between Kamacite's thighs to stabilize himself; whether it caused his captive to fear something worse than death was of no true concern to the white moon senshi, but he definitely didn't want to hear it, so he applied his teeth to the shell of Kamacite's exposed ear. "Hold. Still. You. <******** idiot. I'm trying not to crush you."

Kamacite flinched again at being called a dumb little mouse this time, although there was nothing he could do to pull himself away to escape.

But… This man was an informant?? Did that really exist? Kamacite couldn’t determine whether or not this man was telling the truth, but at the moment he was still trying to come to terms with the fact that this man could easily kill him. What was even stopping him? Unless he really was an informant? Maybe he didn’t want Kamacite’s blood on his hands?

If only he’d had the ability to teleport. That would have definitely helped him out. As it was, all he could do was grunt and hiss and whimper in distress as he tried to struggle away from the much larger man pinning him down -

Kamacite froze again, just for a moment, when Aue told him how his General was a half monster -

But it wasn’t possible they were talking about the same… was it? His General hadn’t mentioned anyone else. Then again, his General didn’t mention a lot of things. He’d been taught to collect energy and starseeds and preferably not get caught or killed, but Kamacite had obviously failed with those later lessons -

His thoughts were doused with a sickening cold as the man shifted himself, knee between his legs, pinning him to the ground, unable to move, unable to breathe, his arm still twisted painfully behind his back. He had no idea what this man wanted from him.

Something sharp grazed his ear and clamped down. There was something of a pitiful, whimpering sob that escaped from the sudden shock of pain, but Kamacite was aware that it could have been a lot harder if the man really wanted to hurt him.

Against his better judgment, he stilled.

Well, except for the heavy heaving of his chest as he tried to breathe, gasping almost too noisily to try and swallow air that didn’t want to fill his lungs, trying very hard not to panic completely. He was doing a poor job of it.

Embarrassingly, there were tears that had escaped and streaked his heated face, although he didn’t remember when they were actually shed, just that he was feeling impossibly overwhelmed and dizzy and he still couldn’t breathe and he just wanted to go home...

Whether Kamacite believed that Aue worked as an informant for the Negaverse or not was of no real consequence to the senshi save that he would not have to attempt to stop the corrupt and perhaps get a stern talking to from his superior officers. But when he went still - sniffling and with fat tears coursing down his cheeks now and again - Aue let up the pressure he'd put on his body to ease the pain of being held so strenuously.

"Breathe and I will describe my Generals for you. If you recognize them, you will know I speak at least some truth. What General would let a basic senshi live if they were not of use to the Negaverse?" Kamacite was like a bird pinned by a predatory cat, delicate and panicked and trying desperately to figure out how to survive the encounter. It was unfortunate that they had fought to this point, but Aue could only move forward as he'd stated.

"One looks like American McGee's Alice ******** the grim reaper. He wields a scythe and wears pink and dark." There was no flicker of recognition from Kamacite at his description of Labyrinthite, so he went onto Wolfeite. "The other has wolf ears and tail in black. All of him is black, but his skin. Uniform is black. Red trim, like blood."

He absolutely hated this, this feeling of utter helplessness, of being weak and pathetic and completely at the mercy of this much larger senshi. All Kamacite could do was try, try to breathe while his heart beat so heavy against his chest that he was surprised it hadn’t broken out yet.

Aue was easing up on him, giving him just a little more room to breathe, and Kamacite tried drawing in a breath, but it ended up being just a sharp intake, every nerve frayed, making it impossible to calm down even as he didn’t dare move.

When the generals were described, there was nothing familiar about the first, but the second… it wasn’t possible, right? Kamacite’s General couldn’t possibly be Aue’s General as well, could he? But if he was –

“Release me!” Kamacite let out a distressed, strangled sounding squeak of a cry, with as much authority as he could muster. Which was really none at all since he was still pinned helplessly beneath the other. If the wolf really was… if he had more than one recruit that he just forgot to mention.

“If the wolf really is your General, then release me. He’s made no mention of an informant to me, and he will be displeased if he found out I was injured by your hand,” Kamacite all but sobbed, not struggling, but he was definitely tense. And in pain. And already feeling humiliated. And now feeling a strange sense of… jealousy? Because the wolf was his General, and while he was not so naïve that he didn’t expect him to have other recruits, Kamacite was still determined to not be a disappointment.

So far, he was pretty certain that Aue had the impression of Kamacite being a huge disappointment.

But there was also now a much larger chance that he would be getting out of this confrontation alive if what Aue said was true. And that was enough of a relief to boost his determination once more.

“The wolf gave me my name, and I am his,” he clarified, his voice still strained and quiet, even through his distress. He did his best to ignore the tears that still stupidly filled his eyes, but felt no shame in revealing the wolf’s possession of him. If anything, there was a certain amount of pride there, just as there had always been in regards to his General throughout his and Aue’s confrontation.

He really didn't want to hurt the corrupted senshi, especially if they shared a General in Wolfeite as they also shared being part of the Negaverse. And by the other senshi's reactions, it was fairly clear that Kamacite knew the Wolf.

"I'll let you go as long as you're not going to hit me with your magic again. Are you going to behave?" They'd fought, just a little bit, at the start, but one really would be hard pressed to consider what they'd been doing as a battle...even though they were two senshi supposedly on the opposite sides of the War and blows had sort-of been exchanged. "But don't think the Wolf would bother punishing me for taking you to task when you are being stupid."

Was Kamacite trying to blackmail him into letting up? It wasn't going to work, Aue didn't fear General Wolfeite so much as he was wary of the half-monster.

"Ownership is implied in his being your General, as it is with me." Slowly, carefully, Aue released the smaller corrupt, moving off and to the side of Kamacite but not moving away as though he had utter faith that they were no longer to be struggling with one another. "He would not be pleased with my injury either, Kamacite."

His confidence was the surety of one that knows his place in the world and knows it's above his companion.

”I am not a child,” Kamacite hissed under his breath, his face heating at the suggestion that he needed to clarify that he would not attack the other again. In Kamacite’s defense, Aue had approached him rather quickly, and with a rather intimidating expression. He had no idea that he knew his General, or that he was an informant, or anything like that.

Not that his knowledge of the wolf meant anything. He could be trying to pull a fast one over him and just spout off Generals he’d seen before in the hope that Kamacite would recognize the description.

But, Kamacite reminded himself, Aue could have seriously injured or killed him by this point.

He remained perfectly still as Aue released him, aside from the heavy gasps of air he was trying to draw into his lungs as the pressure lessened even further. Finally, once Aue was beside him, Kamacite slowly pushed himself onto his side so he could sit up, pressing a hand against his chest as it ached from being nearly crushed. His hands and arms were still scratched up, and his chin throbbed from where he’d hit it against the ground when he fell.

Aue’s comment about the wolf not being pleased with his injury either almost had Kamacite rolling his eyes, but held himself back by trying to squint through the darkness at his reddened, scrapped up hand, doing his best to ignore the embarrassment he felt, as well as the urge to suggest Aue try to walk it off, as he was a big, strong senshi who should be able to handle more than just a flash of light.

“If you’re waiting for an apology,” he said quietly, glancing over at the other man. He didn’t finish the sentence, thinking it was perfectly implied that he felt no need. In fact, Kamacite thought he deserved an apology for the way Aue scared him. There was no point in jumping up to run. His hair was a tangled mess on the ground, and he was sure that any attempt would need to be made slowly and carefully.

Either way, he didn’t like the tone in which Aue was addressing him, as though he was clearly superior, including in the wolf’s eyes. And perhaps he was stronger and a better fighter, but his General had every chance to kill him and decided there was something worth holding onto.

As much as he should believe what Aue said, he couldn’t help but doubt that the wolf wouldn’t be angry if Kamacite was injured. Same as he felt as though the wolf would also want to tell Aue to walk it off and try blinking a few times if he complained about the "injury" Kamacite inflicted on him.
