When he'd finally managed to crawl home after his run in with the General he patched up what he could before dropping onto the rug in his living room. Everything hurt and he'd been forced to power down to rest a bit while he dealt with his injuries. He couldn't quite get his arm though. The scratches were deep enough that it hurt every time he moved. Groaning he managed to grab his cell phone and dial his cousin's number. She didn't pick up which meant she was either on another date or at work. "Cordy. I hurt myself and I'm not dying but I could really use your help. Now if you can." He hung up and dropped back onto the rug. He was going to have some explaining to do once she patched him up. She was going to want to see him and he wanted to know if she knew anything about the strange markings that had shown up on his arms.

The downside to spending additional time on her home world was that cell phones had terrible reception in space. It wasn't until she was back in her apartment covered in layers of dust that her phone began to chime that she had a message waiting for her. Cordelia cursed softly, brushing tangled curls away from her face as she listened to the message before calling her cousin back. It hadn't been long since he'd called, maybe five minutes-- "Stars, Luc, answer the phone..."

He whined when his phone rang, glad no one was around to hear it, and after a moment of fumbling managed to flip the speaker on. "I could have just done with your company and not a phone call. It really hurt answering it again." He didn't bother to actually move the phone off the floor or turn his head too much. Everything still hurt and he'd rather she just come over and bandage up his arm.

"You didn't say where you were in your message-- home, on your way here, somewhere else in this godforsaken town." Cordelia snorted as she made a line for her bathroom so that she could grab her bag of first aide supplies. "I'll get my things together and be right there."

"Oh ...I'm laying on my living room floor. I have stuff here too I just can't wrap up my arm cause it hurts to move that much." Plus it was just the wrong angle to try to do one handed. It would have been easier if the General had just scratched up his legs or something. He might not have made it home but at least he could have bandaged himself up.

"I'll see you in a bit." Cordelia ended the call, stuffing a change of clothes into her bag as well so that she could clean up at Luc's after making sure he was alright. She would have brought Eta along with her if the feline was anywhere to be found, but she didn't have time to look for her. Cordy grabbed her keys, locking up her flat before heading out to her car. The drive to Luc's was short and once she found a parking spot she made her way to the door. Someone was on their way into the building so she didn't have to get Luc to buzz her in, but she hoped he at least left the door open upstairs.

Once he set his phone back on the floor he noticed Sumi hovering near the side of the couch. The kitten had hidden once he'd made it home and he figured that was because Sumi assumed he would be angry with him. Sighing he wiggled his fingers toward the kitten. "You don't have to hide. I'm mad but ... you're ... well you." He was rather fond of the kitten but Sumi had a lot of growing to do. Padding carefully across the floor Sumi nudged under Lucien's hand before curling up carefully by his side. "I should have noticed her coming or been able to help or something." He murmured. He didn't like seeing Lucien hurt and knowing it was probably partially his fault. Lucien shushed the kitten and tried to turn his head when he heard someone at the door. "It's open!"

"Stars, Luc... What happened?" Her brow furrowed as she walked in to see her cousin lying on the floor-- or not see him until she'd stepped further into the flat after pulling the door shut behind her. She set her bag down beside him as she stooped down, gently brushing her fingers through his hair before leaning back just enough to properly assess him. Cordelia was not a doctor, nor was she a nurse, or anyone with any sort of formal training when it came to dealing with wounds. She had picked up a bit here and there since her awakening, finding taking care of scrapes and other small wounds easier than going to the doctor. Doctors, at first, had been more likely to inform her parents and there was no way to explain being that accident prone. "What needs attention first? Should I call Fiona? She knows a bit more about this sort of thing than I do..."

"Oh, you know ..." He manged not to roll his eyes but just barely. "A General decided she wanted to scratch me up before she tried to rip my starseed out. She got pretty mad when that didn't work. Have you heard of them refusing to come out?" He laughed slightly, regretting that as it made his arm hurt again. "Ow ... I think I made her madder when I lit her on fire." He shifted slightly and pushed himself up on his uninjured arm. "I don't need Fiona. The scratches aren't deep enough to need stitches and they're not bleeding anymore. It just hurts like a b***h. I have some neosporin stuff and bandages. I just can't do it myself."

"A General? With the way you're scratched up I would have thought a feral cat youma of some sort... But you and I don't have the sort of luck that leads to normal youma." Cordelia gave him a gentle nudge. "Have you already washed the scratches off? Or rinsed them out? C'mon, Luc, let's get you onto the couch if you have and then we'll get you banda--- She tried to take your starseed?" That was a sensation that Cordelia was familiar with and deep inside her chest she felt an ache at the mention of it. Hand reaching in, grabbing, squeezing... He hadn't been interested in taking hers, though, only filling it with darkness. "Are you alright?"

"She had gauntlets with metal claws for weapons. The scratches came from her 'playing' with me at first. They sorta made my arm not work right so it was a pretty good tactic ... and i didn't make it much further than the floor here so no I haven't cleaned them out." He wasn't that worried since there hadn't been any visible dirt involved but Cordy was right and they probably needed to be clean. "I have a spray bottle of water int he bathroom. can't you just clean them up out here with a towel?" That would mean less moving. Part of him almost hoped she'd miss the starseed thing but nope. "Yea. I felt her grab it then something really weird happened. Which will be way easier to show you than tell you I think but that requires powering back up."

"I am not cleaning your scratches with the same spray bottle you probably use to spritz Sumi when he's getting on your nerves," Cordelia snorted as she helped Lucien to his feet and onto the sofa. "We can clean them up out here, but I've got a can of wound wash in my bag... I'll get the towels." She left him to do just that, grabbing two towels out of his bathroom before returning to the living room. Cordelia wanted to fret over him more, but she could save the actual worry for once she'd gotten him bandaged up. "Put this one across your lap and then let your arms rest on it so you don't get wet, alright?" Once he'd listened to her she nudged the coffee table out of the way so that she could kneel on the floor in front of him. She opened her first aide bag, drawing out the can of wound wash. She set it on the floor along with a small bottle of distilled water, a packet of gauze and some medical tape. "Ready?"

He groaned as Cordy helped him up and he got settled on the couch. His arm still hurt the most but everything was was still sore as well. He didn't think she'd got the rest of him that bad so it was probably a combination of everything else that happened and the adrenaline wearing off. "Not really but do it anyway." At least if she just that part over with it would hurt less faster. Even if the wound wash was going to sting like a b***h.

Cordelia didn't bother with telling Lucien that it was going to hurt. He knew that and he would only get frustrated with her if she stated the obvious. Instead she settled in to clean the scratches on his arm, cleansing them with the saline spray and then rinsing them with the distilled water. She took the second towel to lightly pat his arms, giving them a moment to dry before adding a bit of neosporin and lightly covering them. "Scratches like that will probably itch like hell as they start healing. Make sure you let them breathe a bit." She rested her hands over the bandages for a moment before shifting to her feet. "I'm going to make us some tea so you can take some Alieve... And I'd like to hear more about this General."

When Cordy started cleaning out his wounds he hissed, biting out a few curses, until she was wrapping them up. Those cleaning sprays were good but they always hurt more than he thought they should. He still felt tired and his arm still hurt but at least with the medicine on it maybe it would heal faster. "Thanks." He made sure the bandages would stay in place before leaning back against the couch. "I'll tell you about her so long as you let me show you what happened and don't complain about me powering up while injured." He could at least do it fast since he really just needed her to see what he looked like.
