Bob was doing his best not to feel completely responsible for her storming off, but the Mauvian was doing a terrible job of it. His four little paws were scampering as fast as they could down the sidewalk - what street was he on again? He couldn't remember, all the signs were a blur in his vision as he dashed along, dodging walkers and lingerers as his small furry mind did its best to focus on tracking auras.
If Aurora - or Hydra, rather - were to find herself in trouble all because of his comments, he would be both infuriated and terrified for her sake. If it led to something even worse....
Well, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself.
She's a senshi, she'll be able to hold her own, he berated himself quietly as a pair of energy signatures caught his attention to the east. Ears perking up, the cat made a hard turn left around a corner and sped up, despite the heavy panting he was already doing. She was training under Obsidian and despite his displeasure with such a pairing, surely she had to have learned some tricks from the old, crazy redhead... right?
He passed a dog on a leash who'd begun to bark at seeing his natural enemy, but Bob ignored him. He had a senshi to find and damn it all to Hell, he was going to find her!

It had taken Rory at least five minutes to get far enough away from the house to feel comfortable powering up. She had the pen in her borrowed jacket's pocket, having taken to always keeping it on her person just in case. The magical transformation reminded her of what it felt like to be someone so much more than herself.
Like this, dressed in the dark fuku and the boots that had first garnered Obsidian's attention, she felt like she had the capability to be a force of nature. The breeze appeared to be on her side when she turned, because it fluttered her hair behind her in a long, majestic stream. Everything she did after was purposeful.
Hydra held her spine tall, shoulders squared as she marched forward, feeling on the edge of her senses for something she could prove herself against. She had walked and walked, desperate to put more distance between herself and the cat who's words had stung like a slap across her face.
Bob was wrong and she was going to prove it.
At last, she felt an aura not unsimilar to the plant senshi she'd seen during that battle. She should have thought twice about it, but she didn't let herself. When she was close enough, she focused on something deep inside of her, hands lifting as she concentrated on summoning her magic.
The ground rumbled beneath her.
She was going for it, right out of the gates.

hoping assuming she stumbles upon Chari is okay!
Hydra Strike
Hydra spreads her arms open and there is a low rumbling/vibration beneath her feet and water rises before her reaching a height of 8ft pushing forward and slamming down on her opponent. Hydra must allow time for the wave to rise before she releases it otherwise it will not be as effective. It takes approximately 20 seconds for the wave to reach full height.
If they are within 5ft of her, they will experience mild vibrations. If hit, the person feels as though they drenched in water for at least one minute. The wave does not discriminate between allies and enemies, everyone is collateral damage.
Usage: 3 Mechanics: Hydra summons the wave in one post, attacks in the next. She can be interrupted in the middle of summoning and either the wave fails completely or is released with less potency.

Chariklo had felt the low level Chaotic aura approaching for the last few minutes. A part of her had actually felt a grim sort of amusement mingled with wonder. An aura that weak... should not have been charging full tilt towards someone like her. Well, unless they were just stupid or way too into the legends they were creating in their own minds.
You know. Just like you.
Swatting the thought away, Chariklo closed sunset eyes and focused. Then, she turned slightly to face the direction that she thought the aura was coming from and stood there waiting. When she opened her eyes again, she thought she could detect a faintly human shape in the darkness. Close enough to yell at, but not close enough to make out details. Or reach out and... introduce them to Mr. Fist.
Which, all things considered, she was really aching to do. Whoever-it-was was Chaos. That was all the justification Chariklo needed to charge towards the stranger, fist already cocked and ready to fly at face or stomach. You know, whichever one just wanted to meet Mr. Fist the most.

The farther he ran, the stronger the auras began to feel. He was getting close, he could sense it.
A nearby run-in with a jogger sent the cat barreling up against a large trash can sitting off the sidewalk, the trash tin making a loud, metallic thonk as the large feline scrambled to regain his foot, claws scraping against the cement. A few people were staring, one child giggling as they stuck their face back into their triple-stacked ice cream cone. A strange pair of hands dared to move down and help him, but Bob let out a hiss as he took off across the street, drawing near to the powers.
Whatever was out there with Hydra, it wasn't good. The aura that lingered near the Chaos one was at least an Eternal - if not, god forbid, any higher.
I'm coming, Rory, he thought to himself as he almost tripped over his paws at the sound of ground rumbling in the close distance. Oh no, was that Hydra Strike?

It wasn't until the wave was half risen that Hydra realized how tall the woman she had found and engaged was. Her first thought, when she looked up, jade eyes bright with whatever righteous fury she had mustered in her desperation to prove herself, was amazonian.
The second wasn't a thought so much as a feeling. Dread.
She hadn't thought it through enough, instinctual recklessness clouding her judgement. Bob had called her a child who didn't know any better. What if he had been right?
The fist interrupted her thoughts and the corrupt released her wave before it could reach it's full height and jerked back. She hadn't moved quickly enough, fist catching her jaw through the wave's magical waters and sending her spiraling back into the ground.

Okay, magical water walls were a new thing. Still, Chariklo allowed herself a nasty grin as her fist traveled through easily enough and connected with the little corrupt's jaw. What could she say? She did so love her work.
"There's no Corvus to stop me this time," she half-snarled at the corrupt. "No one to keep one of you ******** from getting the beat down y'all deserve."
Stalking forward, she considered the corrupt for a moment before snaking out a hand to catch a hank of that long, long hair. Twining her fingers through, she pulled as hard as she could.
"Handy of you guys to grow your hair out like this," she said in a coldly calm and conversational way. "Makes a good leash to keep her where I want."
She paused for a moment, lost in thought for the briefest of moments as memory surged up and broke up a burble of laughter. She found herself wondering if that ridiculous war senshi's fingers had ever healed after Chariklo had broken them.
"Well, sparkletits," she continued in that same calm voice, "You're about to get a very expensive lesson in why you do not ******** with me."
And with that, her free hand balled into a fist and drove itself swiftly for the other girl's gut and the soft, tender tissue there.

His paws were hurting at this point, pads cut from debris and rocks across the ground. There hadn't been enough time to pay attention to what he ran on, he just need to run and get to her before....
It was too late.
Teal waves were wrapped around Angry Butch Girl's fist and he'd turned the corner just in time to see her fist connect with Hydra's stomach. He let out an instinctive hiss, the hair bristling on his back as his claws extended themselves out. He was still yards away and the woman looked as if she were ready to beat Hydra within an inch of her life, if not further.
"Hey, blondie! HEY, yeah, you! Over here!"
His yelling stopped after that, but not his running. The twenty-two pound cat barreled towards the Eternal senshi, his aim for the first open patch of flesh he could get to. Taking a leap, he launched himself in the easiest spot he could get to: he went for the leg.

Hydra was trying not to spit at the eternal, jaw aching and lip split from where her fist had connected. She didn't know who this Corvus was or what that had to do with anything. All she knew was that her heart beat like a jackhammer in her chest, adrenaline coursing through her veins in a manner that wouldn't get her out of this pinch she'd gotten herself into.
There was a yelp, when her hair was grabbed and yanked, small hands immediately wrapping around the offending hand's wrist and trying to pry it off.
Yeah, long hair was a problem in situations like this.
Her eyes were wide as Chariklo continue to taunt her in a cold, demanding manner that made her think of some of the general's in the negaverse. This is bad, so bad, she caught herself thinking, trying not to whimper as she tried to kick out at the eternal senshi while also trying to tear her hair free.
Distance, she needed distance -
Something fluffy and orange flew past her vision.
"Bob don't - " she shrieked, suddenly more terrified for her feline friend than herself.

Ignoring the other girl's struggles as well as the kick that caught her knee, Chariklo simply grinned and pulled back her fist for another blow. Thanks to the leash she'd made of the other's hair, it would be easy enough to yank that oh so young head back and punch the girl in the throat.
Throat punches tended to be conflict enders. Of course, they tended to be enders in general.
She was distracted from her musing by the corrupt's startled shriek combined with a very large weight slamming into and attaching itself via little organic meathhooks to her leg. Giving her own shriek, Chariklo gave the girl's hair a savage yank born out of startlement. Glancing down, she saw the orange cat and pulled her lips back in a snarl.
Well. If the cat wanted to play, she'd be happy to oblige. Plenty of violence to go around for everyone. And since it had attached itself to her leg...
Moving quickly, Chariklo winced as the claws sank deeper into her leg, the tall eternal swung her be-catted leg up and around, intending to smash it against the corrupt. Cat wanted to play rescuer, it could take it's knocks as well.

Tearing at whatever he could get his claws on (quite literally), a series of hisses and clicks came out of his mouth, anger fueled by his determination to help his senshi companion and his desperation to pry them both out of this very bad situation.
Before he knew what was happening, he found himself rising up in the air. His back made impact with Hydra's side and he yowled from the sheer force, his ribs still tender from being attacked by the chocolate senshi the week prior. Claws slipped from where they clung and he found himself knocked off the Eternal's leg, dropping to the ground.
Instinct took effect and he darted a few feet away, his heart pounding in his chest as his entire body trembled. The star on his forehead began to glow, but this time, it wasn't the only thing to start illuminating. His entire body was growing an aura about him.
He'd never felt so hopeless to help someone in his life and it vexed him that he'd managed to find himself in this sort of position again. But he wasn't going to let her die - no - and the ferocity dwelling in his heart was unlocking a sensation within him that he'd never felt before.

Hydra had braced herself for the punch she didn't think she could block. The grip on her hair was too strong and fierce. She'd been so stupid for thinking she stood a chance but Bob had made her so angry -
Bob, who was scratching and attacking to protect and save her.
Bob, who despite his sometimes sleazy behavior cared a ridiculous amount about her. Enough to get her a valentine's gift and find a way to scrounge up money for an evening out with her for her birthday when no one else cared and her dad was stuck working.
If he got hurt -
Her hair was yanked and she screeched in result, arms flailing around at the woman's face in a poor attempt to get her off balance enough to let go so maybe she could scramble away.
"You need to leave!" She shrieked at the cat, more terrified and concerned about him than herself.

Oh, this was such bullshit! Chariklo snarled, feeling trickles of blood running down her leg. Getting torn up by one of the cats loyal to the negaverse was bad enough. But now Little Miss Corrupt was screeching and flailing. And Chariklo had had enough.
Ignoring the cat for the moment she turned just enough towards the girl and swung her arm, intending to catch the other with a vicious backhand. You know, maybe injure her jaw enough to stop the damn noise... A little silence would be a lovely thing, she thought wryly, convinced that her goddamn ears were about to start bleeding. And then, the Eternal caught the actual words the younger girl had been shouting. She was actually afraid for the cat. Crazy.
And speaking of... she glanced quickly at where the cat had landed and felt her jaw go a little slack.
"Umm," she said stupidly, not quite sure as to what she was seeing. "Is your cat glowing? Why is your cat glowing?"

Emerald eyes bore figurative holes into the punk that was manhandling (womanhandling??) his charge, forcing her arm and hand against Hydra's upper body and face - sending one final wave of infuriating anger through his furry form.
I'm not leaving without you.
The sheer rage of his anger towards the Eternal blinded him of the fact that he was no longer staring up at her from the ground, but instead was slowly rising up, up, up until he was well over six feet tall and now looking down at each woman. The dark star on his forehead glowed brightly, his aura sending out a powerful pulse that could be felt streets over.
Furry ears and tail had remained, but the rest of the furry Maine Coon was gone, replaced by a tall young man with fiery hair as unkempt as ginger fur once was, fists replacing the scrunched up paws and a faded, torn up set of raggedy clothing now in the place where orange fluff once rested.
Taking a step forward (which weirdly pushed him a lot closer to the women than he'd calculated), he growled, his voice rough and low. "I'm not going anywhere without you, Hydra."
With that, the beam on his star came to life and the energy blasted from his forehead towards the Eternal senshi.
DaisyMilk
sorry mate );
In an emergency all cats can expend energy to shoot a beam of force from the center of their star sigil. This is draining and cannot be done with much frequency. The beam is more like a stun than a real weapon and is not capable of doing much more than stunning a normal youma or turning body parts numb. It may destroy the lowest level youma but the odds of finding some are pretty rare.

It wasn't like Hydra had anywhere to go with that mean, nasty grip in her hair and she caught the full brunt of Chariklo's backhand. Her lip split and for one brief, terrifying moment, she though her jaw had been popped out of place. It hadn't, but the residual pain exploded across her face and left stars spinning in her vision.
Even though she was being addressed, she couldn't understand what was being said because her ears were ringing and she wasn't entirely sure how long she was going to stay conscious after a blow like that.
"B-bob?" She managed, when she saw something shift that she couldn't understand. It didn't matter, everything was going fuzzy around the edges anyway.

Okay. Chariklo knew that the cats could turn into people sometimes. But this was the first time she'd ever been witness to it happening. The shock of the unexpected combined with the pulse of his aura nearly made the blonde senshi's knees buckle. Jaw dropping even further in shock, her grip on the corrupt's hair loosened as she tried to figure out how to rate the cat on her internal threat scale.
Then she saw the star on his forehead glow and abruptly recalled a day not all that long ago when she'd witnessed Faust dusting a youma with some magic forehead beam.
"Oh, shi-," she heard herself beginning to swear. And then the beam hit her square in the chest and Chariklo went down.
