ADAPTABLE Due to her upbringing, between the farm and her family and school, as well as taking up extra chores when needed or not having enough time for one thing or another she had grown to learn how to adapt to things quickly and with very little to trip her up. She is able to think on her toes and change things such as how she divides up her time and how long she can be in one place or another.
STUBBORN Despite Darcy's stage fright she is stubborn, particularly when she is given a task. No matter what the obstacles she will overcome them. An example being that she has to present an oral report for class. Darcy will do what she has to do, such as study, make the poster, make note cards, and she will go to class and give her report in an attempt to overcome her Shyness and stage fright, however despite her stubbornness in this example she would still be shaking like a Chihuahua (it is good to keep in mind that she isn't shy, just stage fright)
GOOD Darcy is a good person, almost angelic in nature. Ever since she was a child she never given her mother any problems, and as she grew up she became a kind person toward her friends, helpful, sweet, and always willing to lend a hand.
HARD WORKING Darcy grew up on her great-uncles farm in the country with her mother and father. Doing hard work, pulling your weight, and helping around the farm was just a way of life. Every morning she would wake up at dawn and feed the pigs before heading to school where she would work hard on her studies and stay after school to clean up after the other students in order to help the teacher before she would head home and help with the remaining chores, cooking, cleaning, feeding or washing the animals before doing her homework and going to bed.
PUSHOVER Darcy has easily been coerced into things, from taking on extra chores to doing other peoples homework and in the end it has always left her feeling guilty. On several occasions it would be things that she didn't want to do, such as one time some of her friends pushed her to skip school even though she didn't want to, this has happened on several occasions.
LOYAL To her family and to the friends that she truly has Darcy is without a doubt loyal to them, willing to help them out in times of trouble and if needed take up a weapon in trembling hands and try to defend or fight with them even though she would probably just end up being useless.

EARLY CHILDHOOD
Darcy's parents met six years before she was ever even a glimmer in her mothers eyes. It had began as a whirlwind romance between her mother Greer Wylde and her father Aedion Bard. They where both from the country and they had both moved into the city.
Greer and Aedion married when they where seventeen, just a few months before Greer's best friend came back from his 'fancy boarding school' (aka Hogwarts, but Greer didn't know this because she's a muggle). Greer ran away with Aedion back to the country and they would live on Aedion's uncle's farm, helping out around the farm in exchange for room and board. It was three years after the marriage that Greer would bring Darcy into the world.
Darcy would come into the world screaming bloody murder, she was the most adorable bundle of joy her mother had ever seen and she was loved. Darcy would be raised on the farm, growing up learning how to take care of cows and pigs and chickens and goats and sheep. Her best friend until she was five was a sheep named Margot that she would ride around like a horse. It was also when she was five that her father would be diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. It was when Darcy and her father had been out feeding the chickens that he had a seizure. Darcy didn't know what to do and she ran to her mother, Within two days Darcy, her father Aedion and her mother Greer found out that Aedion was going to die.
From the beginning hope that he would make it was low as the Tumor was in a section of the brain where it could not be removed, however despite this Darcy and Greer stood by him every step of the way. For the next four years Aedion would fight the cancer with chemotherapy and human will. Darcy would pick up his portion of the chores around the farm, feeding the pigs and helping her uncle with the sheep. Her father would go in and out of the hospital for the next four years, near the end of the fourth year- when Darcy was nine- he would finally pass on. Her mother was devastated and fell into a deep depression, Darcy was also saddened however despite loosing her father she felt happy that he was gone, not because she was that cruel- but because she felt that it was less cruel for him to no longer have to suffer.
Darcy and her mother Greer would move to Dublin a few months after Aedion's death, Greer didn't want to have anything around to remind her of Aedion. Not the farm and at one point it would seem that she didn't want Darcy around either. Greer would rent a small two bedroom apartment in city and from then on it would be almost like she avoided Darcy, Greer would only check up on Darcy to make sure that she was still alive before she would vanish back into her room for the rest of the day.
Her mother would finally start to get better one day when they went out shopping. Greer ran into an old friend, Niall Calderwood, and slowly over the next several months the friendship that Greer had placed on hold when she moved away with Aedion started to show itself. Greer began to smile more, she began cooking and eventually after a little while more she started hiring a sitting to watch Darcy when she went out on dates. It was when Greer was at her happiest that finally Darcy got the news, Greer was going to remarry! Darcy wasn't to happy when she heard the news but she hid it when she saw how happy this new man made her mother, how it made her more talkative and active. She would learn that this man had once been her mother's childhood friend and that now that Greer was getting married to him Darcy would also have a sister.
Two weeks before the wedding Darcy's mother caught Niall Calderwood using magic to repair is wedding tux and the secrets spilled. Darcy and her mother learned that he was actually a wizard, that the reason he had been gone at this 'private school' which was actually a Wizarding school called Hogwarts was so that he could learn how to control it, the best part however was that her mother accepted it. Greer told her fiancée, Niall, that she had always thought something was strange with him, how he would have things in his hands that wearnt their before, how he could find things that no one else could find, and even on some occasions when she would see a floating plate setting itself on the table or a quill scratching words onto a paper before setting itself down as if trying to hide something. Greer accepted magic, and her best friend and Darcy's mother remarried and Darcy saw that she was so much happier.
Darcy learning about magic couldn't have come at a better time as a few months later a letter came for her from Hogwarts, inviting her to attend. It was a shock to her mother whom had never seen her perform any magic, and it was a surprise to Darcy because she couldn't think of any time she had actually performed magic either. However her new stepfather simply told them that when someone got a letter it was never sent to the wrong address. However with a Wizard Stepfather and much encouragement Darcy became more accepting of attending "Wizard School" Next year.
SCHOOL YEARS
■ FIRST YEAR In Darcy's first year of school she was dazed by everything around her, she was sorted into Hufflepuff and magic was still so new to her and she had trouble traversing the hallways almost until the end of the year. While she was away her younger step-sister was preparing to join her in Hogwarts the following year and her mother had a little boy while she was away, making Fiona a super big sister between her step-sister Fiona and her new half-brother Darius.
