He was still adjusting, the new found powers and abilities hadn’t been put to use as much as they should have when it came to scoping out the city at night. It had been too easy to be focused on other things, spending his time consumed by work and trying to figure out Cinnabar’s condition and ignore the other things he had gained in return. The hospital of course had made it easy to find people to drain, people were always awake near it, and it was easy to make them targets when they thought they were rather safe. However, Chalco couldn’t keep relying on that, in his own mind he assumed it would start drawing too much suspicion. The last thing he needed was too much interest being drawn at work, it made things harder to move about, harder to study things in a lab that were not on the list either.

So tonight Chalco made his way through the city, his first thought of course was maybe going towards a few of the clubs or bars, tailing someone home who was either too drunk or too wrapped up to pay much attention to their surroundings. That would work wouldn’t it?

So far Chalco had done his best to avoid anything that involved fighting, that wasn’t to say he wasn’t fit or at least at skilled enough to throw a punch but actual fighting and doing so with his new powers he had not yet accomplished much. It wasn’t why he had joined in the first place, however the inevitable was sure to come, sooner than he had anticipated but that was always his sort of luck.

Surprised, whatever the senshi had thrown at him it melted and burned at his clothes as he let out a hiss from the heat that he could feel under the fabric shaking his hand rapidly to dislodge the substances. Luckily his uniform had very little bare skin showing, if it had landed on his neck or face Chalco was sure it would have left a mark that would last a few days. Unfortunately it left him open,an easy mark for his opponent to sink a fist into his gut causing the breath to leave his lips momentarily, as one knee trembled wanting to sink down to bear his weight.

Instead Chalco resisted pushing back he leapt back far enough away to give some distances between him and the invader as he caught his breath. The little fairy wand was in his hand but what the hell good did it do him at the moment.

The senshi was quicker than Chalco had given him credit as he realized he didn’t have enough time to completely dodge the second punch heading in his direction as the senshi quickly closed the gap. It connected straight into his shoulder as Chalco gritted his teeth, from the pain that erupted from there. It was rather annoying having to deal with the over frilly kid when he had things to do such as filling quota which frankly he already felt that was in a way a waste of his time when he could be putting his skills to better use, but he couldn’t really complain too loudly he was still rather low in rank.

Shifting a foot back, to give him more leverage Chalco curled his hands into a fist and swung aiming for the kid’s unprotected side with the hopes that it would at least take some of the air out of him and give a chance for a little more distances between them.

Chalco at least managed to get a hit in before the frilly senshi whirled around on his foot sending his heel into the side of his gut knocking some of the wind out of his lungs again. “Son of a b***h…” He hissed under his breath as he stumbled back a few steps pressing his hand to his side before skidding to a stop.

Lunging forward Chalco swung wildly towards his shoulder, not wanting to waste any time or give the senshi time to recoil with another heavy hit as he had before. Anymore hits and Chalco would have to find away to get out of there fast before anything else happened.
