Spending that afternoon and evening with Alrik had been really fun! Like...super fun! New friends were awesome! Especially new friends one could coerce convince into watching Outlander. Olga was just mad with delight that she had managed that. Before they parted ways after the Rec Room that evening, a date had been arranged. Her apartment, pizza (she had taken on a few writing commissions, and thus could afford to splurge a bit), and possibly five episodes of Outlander. She really would have loved if they could have made it through the entire first season today...but considering each episode was about an hour long...yeah. Olga clapped her hands delightedly as she surveyed her little studio apartment. It was pretty much always clean, but just a bit more tidying up couldn't hurt! It looked company ready! Now all that was needed was the company! She glanced at the clock on the microwave, saw that it was getting close to the appointed time, and nodded her head in approval. Ghouliboo Her apartment looks something like this: girl roomExcept just imagine the pictures are all replaced with Outlander posters, and the furniture is more appropriate for "college furniture gotten from Target" : D

Right on cue, there was a knock on the door. Shifting from one foot to the other, Alrik stared uneasily down the hallway. One hand was shoved deep within the confines of his jean's pocket (which he'd made sure had come straight out of the dryer and not from his bedroom floor). His shirt was hand-picked for the occasion (as in, also coming from the dryer and not his bedroom floor), featuring Freddy Fazbear and the rest of the Five Night's friends. She'd seem to dig horror games, so why not make sure he wore a shirt that she'd dig, right? When Olga had suggested an Outlander marathon, he'd agreed almost immediately. Not that he knew what Outlander was - because he didn't - but spending the afternoon eating pizza with a girl sounded extremely appealing. What other guy in his class could brag about something like that? Besides, Outlander sounded sort of badass, when he thought more about the title. Adventurous, outcasty. Clearly, judging by Olga's love for video games, it was a sensible, manly type of show. Clearing his throat, he readjusted his stance and prepared a smile... that is, until he realized that he probably should have brought something. That's what guests did, right? Flowers, popcorn - something for the get-together. Crap!

Olga started a bit at the knock. Woah! The timing was just right! To think Alrik was here already---or maybe it was the pizza! Olga's stomach grumbled as she moved to open the door, and it swung open to reveal the young woman in an Outlander t-shirt, her trademark flannel, and her PJ shorts, because hey, she was home, and pants were overrated when you were at home. She gave Alrik a fox eyed grin, and raised her hand in greeting. "Hey! You made it! I'm glad! Come on in---Oh!" She started again, blinking, as right behind Alrik, the pizza guy showed up. "Oh wow---yeah---timing is really good!" She uttered to no one in particular, and leaned to fish her wallet off the nearby counter, where she pulled out the bills necessary to pay. Olga moved around Alrik, exchanging the cash for pizza, and was calling out thanks the dude as he retreated down the hall. Olga stepped back into her apartment, looking down at the two boxes. "Oh man, I'm starving! Anyways, yeah! Make yourself at home! We can eat and---oh, I guess you need a tour, huh?" She laughed. "Bathroom is over there---" She pointed in the direction with a toe as she placed the boxes on the small kitchen counter. "And everything is is pretty obvious!"

"I was going to bring something, but I got uh..." His words trailed off as she started the brief tour, his eyes glancing around the room as he stepped inside, allowing the pizza guy room to open his satchel and remove the delicious smelling lunch/dinner/lunner?? "...distracted. Time got away from me." He hadn't been expecting such a posh looking place. Truth be told, he half expected for the walls to be pink and glitter all around, paired with several stuffed versions of fantasy animals, like mermaids and unicorns and the like. Looking at this room made Olga appear dangerously normal, in comparison. Like an actual adult and super cool at it. She was his age, wasn't she? Where was his apartment - why was he still stuck at his parents' home?? "Nice place." His awe was expressed with brevity, though his literal expression spoke a thousand words. One shoe scuffed along the floor as he turned to watch her set the pizzas down, his stomach growling at the sight of the beautiful boxes. "I take it you've got a job or something, then?"

Olga wasn't too classy, and fished out some paper plates from the cabinet, setting them down near the pizza. She waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, psssshaw! I didn't need you to bring anything! Don't worry about it!" She pointed to the paper plates. "Help yourself! I got pepperoni and supreme! Hope those are okay! Seemed pretty safe---and, oh!" She scooted a bit to fish out some cans of Dr. Pepper from the fridge, setting them on the counter as well. "Hope this is alright! If not, there's water and milk, too!" She surveyed the counter thoughtfully, deemed everything needed was there, and then nodded her head. "Thanks!" She turned to beam at him, and was waiting for him to serve himself first before she got herself any. "Not an actual job, no! I take on some odd jobs here and there, commissions, but aside from that my parents help me out while I go to school."

Sugar and grease: these were the foods he survived on as a teenager. Eagerly snatching up a paper plate, he put not one, not two, but three slices of pepperoni pizza on his place, each slice slapped on top of the other. Grabbing the soda can in his free hand, he maneuvered himself around towards the couch as he listened to her explanation. Commissions? "Oh! Your writing!" He hadn't brought up his failed attempt at storytelling, figuring that some things were just better left unspoken about. But that didn't mean he couldn't get some inspiration from some of her work, right? "You'll have to show me some of your stuff, sometime. I'd love to read it." With that, his butt took its place on her couch, one leg crossing over the other to form a makeshift flat surface for his plate to rest on. Pizza, soda and television - what more could a guy ask for?

Olga grabbed herself three slices of supreme, and then settled on the small couch next to Alrik with a can of Dr. Pepper in tow. Her 'television' was more of a larger computer screen hooked up to her laptop---but it did the job. Olga leaned to click the Outlander DVD that was pre-loaded, and tilted her head towards Alrik. "Hmmm? Oh! Sure! You let me know what type of genre you want to read and I'll hook you up! I can show you some after we watch some episodes, actually!" She was really giddy about being able to watch Outlander with someone. She hit the play button, and then sat back, starting to nom on her pizza. Alrik was in for...a uh....good time. Soft nice opening with some graphic wounds and muscles and spinning ladies, and then the first episode was rolling. Should Olga have mentioned there was some soft core porn in the first episode already? ... Naaaaaaah!

His expectations for Outlander were thoroughly dashed as the first episode quickly revealed the show's true plot. Time traveling had not been what he saw coming, nor were the scenes involving... stuff. Like the stuff his sister had no problem writing about and would sometimes force him to read. But reading someone's fanfic in the comfort of your own room was very different than watching what probably should have been considered pornographic while sitting next to a girl he only sort-of-knew on her couch in foreign territory. He felt himself shift in his chair awkwardly, his cheeks flushing profusely as the scene played out in front of them. Most of the time he could either roll his eyes or walk off when Penny had some whimsical smut playing on the screen but... he wasn't left with many options where he currently sat. Thankfully, Olga seemed entranced with the show, allowing him to at least experience his uncomfortable state alone as he shoved a slice in his face, busily distracting himself from the embarrassing sounds on the screen. Thankfully, the action in the show was enough to make up for the girly parts and Alrik found himself getting into the plot by the end of the first episode. Pizza and soda quickly disappeared by the time the fourth episode was on, Alrik by that point now lounging comfortable on the couch, tossing questions over to his Outlander senpai when he found himself confused with any portion. "Randall's a douche." He snorted, feeling the need to state the obvious. Lucyal (I haven't seen it, so thank you, you're a lifesaver! ANd now I want to watch it, LMAO is it on netflix???)

It didn't matter that Olga had seen this series for what was probably the thousandth time. She was still just as enthralled with it as if she was watching it for the first time. She eagerly and all too happily answered Outlander kouhai's questions, and as they reached the end of the fourth episode, Olga cackled menacingly. "Heh heh heh...oh... it will get worse." She said ominously, waggling her fingers at him. As the intro for the fifth episode started to play though, Olga leaned to pause her laptop, and looked over at Alrik, beaming inquisitively. "Are you good for a few more, or do you need to head out?" It had been about four hours now. Ghouliboo NO PROBLEM <3 Yassss you should go watch it if you can! I'm not sure it's on Netflix, because I don't have Netflix, but also it's owned by Starz and I think they have a very tight fist on where it airs fwkefjklkl

He looked down at his phone to check the time. It was getting rather late, but.... Glancing back at the screen and then towards Olga, he gave her a sheepish shrug. His shoes had slipped off around the third episode and the teenager had found himself rather comfortable on his hostess's couch. The pizza and soda had long since been devoured, but his interest in what was quickly becoming his new favorite show was far from sated. "Er... well, did you have something else to do?" One hand idly fell down to scratch his leg absentmindedly. "I don't want to get in your way if you were ready for me to leave..." Lucyal This poses an interesting dilemma, as the only one I know who has Stars is also my father and do I want to watch this kind of show with him.... PROBABLY NOT.....

Alrik was pretty non-committal about getting out of here. Olga's lips slowly started to curve into a C shaped smile. She knew what that meant. "Nope!" She replied, her fingers sliding back over to the laptop. "I just didn't want to keep you...but if you got nothing else going on~" She hit the play button, and then got comfy back in her spot again, shooting him a wide fox eyed grin. " Maybe we can finish volume one of season one!." But poor Alrik would be left on a cliff hanger because that's how the episode would end. Maybe at this point Alrik was just going to spend the night. Maybe he'd spend the next day too. Ghouliboo the answer is YES you do 8D you really do my grandpa watches the show and I'd totally watch it with him

If Olga questioned his camping abilities, then she was in for a surprise of a lifetime. Alrik had once spent eighteen solid hours grinding to level 100 on World of Warcraft with only a handful of bathroom and snack breaks and had barely gotten a sore butt from the effort. Watching television for more than a handful was a piece of cake for his tush, but only if there was something distracting enough to keep him from his precious video games and cell phone. Even now, he barely remembered to check it after each episode for potential text messages.... "I'm not a quitter." Her grin was infectious, the teenager sharing the smile as he resumed his comfortable position on the couch, casually tossing his phone next to his lap as he waited to see what would happen next. "Hit me with what you've got, lady." Lucyal Fade us into black? biggrin

Olga laughed softly, making sure to be extra comfy settling in, because it was about to be another glorious round of hours of Outlander. Good thing she had nothing going on the next day. Hopefully Alrik didn't either... Oh well!
