Bio: Amira was born and raised on Mars. Her father worked hard in the Solarian Navy so her mother could stay home with the children. As a Navy man he was paid fairly well and often worked extra time to give them a little breathing room for fun. Her mother was handy with mechanical things however and made a good side profit from doing odd jobs. It left the family very comfortably settled in the gray area of 'middle classed'. Amira herself was a whirlwind of a child, always off on some grand adventure. Her mind always inquisitive and bright, quick to laughter as she was mischievous. Often her brothers would tag along as she 'hunted' for aliens in their neighborhood. She was also enamored with old Earth stories of pirates, preferring to hear those instead of what she called 'empty' stories about princesses. As she grew and her appetite for adventure multiplied she hid on board her uncles freight ship and ended up accompanying her uncle to Earth. Unable to turn around she had been able to travel with the crew, making fast friends, and nuisance of herself, the entire way there and back. A little after her teen years her father was discharged from the Navy on bogus charges and the event rocked their little home. It caused a great bitterness toward the Empire as a whole. To make ends meet he did odd jobs, although she was never sure what they were.
When she reached adulthood she had enrolled in a school program that she eventually got bored of. Eventually she dropped out when her boredom caused her grades to slip and her in-attendance making it impossible to catch up. She came home after this, working with her mother for a short while. It became apparent then that her father was very ill. Missed days of work, had an inability to get out of bed, and a apathy that wasn't like him. Amira knew her mother couldn't support them on her pay check and without her father working it would make their careful system fall apart. This is how Amira started in the rather more shady side of business. She had a knack for sweet talking people, slim and swift hands, and an ability to get information for those who offered the right price. It paid for her childhood home and her fathers rising medical bills for a long time before his passing. She kept at this for many years before she had a reputation worth anything, and she was eventually approached by someone from 'the Rogues'. She heard rumors of this group of course, and jumped on the opportunity to be, as she had said to the person, a bad-a** space pirate.
For the last twenty years she has worked in their ranks, and has become a saucy sarcastic woman. Her role is still of a thief though it has come a long way from simply picking pockets and swindling pocket change from chumps. Her talents have branched out to bigger and better prospects, even dipping low into subtle assassination the once (well before she'd been introduced into the Rogues). She doesn't like to get her hands involved in bloodshed, however, and actively acts as just a smuggler, fencer, and thief as her primary services.
