Personality: [ Expressive - Coming from a mercantile family he is charismatic, to an extent. Niamh is very open with his emotions, both positive and negative. He would give anything for the people who mean most to him and freely expresses his affection and desire to please them, but at the same time, he wouldn’t hold back if they hurt or offended him.

Indulgent – Being surround by the latest and greatest the market has to offer has made Niamh develop a need for the best. He is constantly surrounding himself with new, different, better things. Whenever he sets his sights on something it will literally eat him up inside until he has it; this carries over into his love life as well. Despite Niamh's insatiable desire, he has a few things of sentimental value which he holds dear.

Ambitious – Niamh spent a great deal of his childhood perusing the markets and on the surface, it can be quite relaxing, but when you get down to the nitty-gritty, things tend to get pretty cutthroat. Niamh strives for success in his line of work and expends much of his energy to achieve this goal; sometimes at the expense of his own well-being. ]

Serious Problems/Flaws : [ Temper - Most elements in Niamh's job leads to stress and sometimes he is not the best at coping with the levels of stress put on him... which then leads to temper. Usually, it’s just short outbursts of “Sass” but occasionally it leads to something more which usually alludes to some greater- underlying stress he hasn't dealt with or is avoiding dealing with.

Inner Turbulence – Often Times Niamh is his own worst enemy. His mind is constantly running and for his job that's a good thing, but when it’s not his job that he's focused on... Well, It can lead to problems in love. He tends to unintentionally wring his hands over the fear of losing the ones he loves, not in death, but more he won’t measure up to their expectations.

And If his love life is suffering... you can be sure it will carry over to his work. Niamh would constantly second guess himself (even though he has a nearly flawless intuition(so he perceives)). His constant haunting thoughts would hound his sleep, grate on his tolerance and lead to a hair trigger temper. Generally, when things get this bad he retreats from the stress of his life and paints, meditates and tries to regain control of his spiraling mental state.

Jealousy – Being the youngest Niamh has been slightly spoiled all his life... He's used to getting what he wants when he wants it. And due to his inner turbulence, he has a tendency to become clingy and jealous in a new relationship. Once again, he recognizes his flaws and does take steps to control them but... sometimes the tiger gets out of the cage~ xD ]

Physical Description: [ Growing up with an older sister, he was her life-sized doll. The two of them would play dress-up in their mother’s clothes. Miri would do his hair, makeup, and nails... And he adored every minute of it. Carrying that to the future, Niamh takes great pride in his appearance. He had always seen the beauty in women and found he could portray many of those features; not to mention he looks damn fine with some makeup on~

Niamh does not identify as a female, just appreciates the time and effort it takes to look as gorgeous as women do. And found he too liked the way he looked when putting forth a similar effort. (Nekkid image for marking reference - click to enlarge)]

Clothing: [ Generally he enjoys anything flowing, not for its loose fit but for its grace and elegance; He enjoys the way he looks. If he is topless he tries to accessorize with jewelry or other accents to make himself more glamorous. ]

Accessories: [ Nails - Niamh is constantly fussing with his nails; oiling them, shaping them, painting them. He takes pride in his appearance; thus his nails~ Plus, it’s useful having healthy nails! They make his fingers look long and slender.

Rings - Simple gold rings in a variety of shapes and sizes, because gold and pretties~

Bangles - Usually tones of gold, blue, or green; nothing too eye popping or fancy. He enjoys the jingling noise they make when he walks, moves, etc.]

History: [ Niamh his the only son and the youngest child of the Lorcan family. From an early age it was made abundantly clear to him that the future of the family's Mercantile Enterprise rested on his shoulders, and where most people would have cracked under the pressure, he embraced it~ Loved it! Niamh spent much of his time in the markets with his father, observing all the inner workings of the system and also going deeper into the thought of the consumer.

He has a keen sense for consumer trends and helped his family's enterprise ahead of the curve, so to speak. He studied as a secretary for his father’s economic adviser and once it was time for the old man to “retire”, he had the necessary skills to step into his shoes and take his place (on a minor scale of course(but his father wasn’t about to tell him that))

*Transition of Power- the previous adviser was getting old and did want more time with his family, but Niamh isn’t exactly old enough to completely take over. Sarkis arranged for Niamh to gradually take on more responsibility as he aged. Once he seemed fully prepared the previous adviser would retire. I intend to act this out over his growths until he finally takes over the company entirely. ]

Family: [Miri (Sister) – His big sister, best playmate, and star of exports for the family. Miri enjoys spending her time on the ocean, around ships, by water in general. (Leaving this vague for reasons~)

Sarkis(Father) - Sarkis is a tall burly man, baked by the sun and built through years of hard manual labor. Born of Matori, he was taken from his home with his family at the young age grew up in the sands of Oba as a slave. He spent most of his childhood on ships as a deckhand and worked his way up the ranks as he aged. In his early twenties, he was given the opportunity to oversee his fellow slaves when out on the open sea and took it. This boosted morale throughout the ranks, thus boosting productivity, and gave Sarkis the drive to achieve this for himself once freed from his Oban overlords~

Coming back to Matori Sarkis stepped up, bring his work ethic and skill from his time as a slave he began shaping an enterprise that would consume Matori’s exports.

Nayeli(Mother) - Nayeli has lived in Matori her whole life... Even during Oba's occupation. She witnessed first hand the cruelty her people endured and had her older brothers taken as slaves at a young age. Realizing these hardships were an unfortunate part of her life she turned to meditation and found other creative outlets for her negative emotions. Eventually, it became a way of life for her, She adapted to more of a go with the flow/let it be sort of attitude; Bad things happen… you can let them hold you back, or you can make the best of them and move on. ]

Relationship History: [He's a virgin baby fresh for the pickin'~]

Other: [ Familiar: Eramus (Menk) - A gift from his sister before she began her first sea voyage. She may be off exploring the world and living her life, but this little guy is the constant reminder of the love they share.

Eramus is spoiled for a menk. He has a larger tank at Niamh’s dwelling and plenty of ornaments to swim through. Niamh has been training him to rest on a perch at the top of his tank when he is hungry or in need of attention.

Malachi (Snaptrotter) - Haven’t gotten far with plotting this out, but I want him to hire a beast tamer to help him get one~ I can work out the details later.

The Lorcan Family - D; will eventually talk about their coming together to make this crazy merchant family of epic awesomeness~ I just feel like I'm spinning in circles at the moment and want to get some feedback from people before continuing. ]

So that was just an over site/lack of sleep on my part... Pantheon seemed like a singular word so I tried to make it in a plural sense (Catholic VS Catholicism) not realizing it completely switched the meaning... He follows the same religion as the rest of the Matori earthlings. I just occasionally suck at this game~ XD



His Ambition lies mostly in his work, but I could see implications of it in his love life. Should he find someone worth the effort the thought of being with this person would likely consume him and he would pursue with the utmost ferocity; which could then pull on his jealousy and inner turbulence flaws as well. Once in a relationship, assuming it was a happy and healthy one, I would assume he would expend unlimited energy and resources to keep it~



They are essentially Import/Export Merchants. They import raw goods and materials from other countries, produce a salable product, and sell or export it depending on supply and demand. Niamh will be tracking consumor patterns of desired goods and services and figuring out what is needed to provide those things (Ideally that's how this goes... we'll see what needs adjusting as I put this into practice.)



I've been plotting with another member of Tendaji who is interested in questing his sister later on, so I am not going to dig too deeply into her personality, history, etc. I do however have a journal plotted for Niamh about his gifted menk which involves her and have gotten that okayed by said member. (Journal will be written before the character is created so it shouldn't be a conflict, right?)



He is going to be a part of the Artisan Class. For his prentice years I will be having him just work closely with his father to get an understanding of what it is they do and hopefully get a more solid grasp on how this is all going to go down.

In his stage two I want to get him more familiar with local market needs and trends which will lead to him eventually attempting to convince his father to begin closer trades with Oba; despite their history. (This will lead to him traveling more and making more connections.) *Will hopefully established his father's company enough to be able to purchase his sister her own ship going into his stage 3 growth. - and also taking advantage of that by making her tow him around to various places <3 *

Stage 3 is going to be all about getting to know Tendaji and all it has to offer; establishing a world trade tha benefits all.

Aaaaand stage 4 will probably be him taking over the company~ (Trying not to get too far ahead of myself... I have found that I get antsy when things don't happen and lose interest... Baby Lists for the moment.)

Well, I suppose he were the one that messed up~ If he found the relationship worth saving, it is safe to say he would go to great lengths to get the person back. If they weren't interested in his apology then he could get jealous if they found someone else to occupy their time. Assuming they don't take him back he would go through a period of question himself and deal with borderline depression due to his inner turbulence, his work would suffer and eventually, if things got bad enough, a family member would come to his rescue. Send him off to go paint and meditate or chase foreign tail~ ;D

Niamh is constantly struggling between his responsibilities to his family and his lifestyle and love life. If he becomes infatuated with someone his work will suffer while he goes to extreme lengths/borderline clingy to gain their affection.

I don't think Niamh would give up his family business for anything. He would try to make a long-distance relationship work... But at this point in time, I believe he would break if off with someone over location if he felt it wouldn't work with his business. Again, it depends on plot and situation, but at this moment I'd be hard pressed to see him walk away from everything for someone XD
