Think you've got the skill to enter into one or even all of our haiku contests? That's great! If you need a refresher on haikus, you can find info on how they are written here. We're looking for poems in several categories, so pick one with which you are comfortable or go ham and try them all! To be considered, post your poem in this thread, and please title it the name of the category for which you are submitting! We're aware that this won't make for very pretty titles, but it definitely makes for awesome organization. Don't forget, you can only make one submission for each category and no resubmissions or changes will be accepted!
Yuki no Okoku's Annual Hanami
Why wouldn't we have a category about our Spring Event? This is very strictly a haiku, and a poem that does not follow the correct 5,7,5 format will not be considered. Your haiku must either mention a hanami, flowers, spring, or snow. Bonus points if you're extra appreciative about Yuki's good will in allowing such an event to take place!
Nevermore: A Tale of Knights
Write a haiku about our Guild! We love you! We hope to at least be in the friend zone with you! Your haiku must have either the word Tale or Nevermore within it and describe some emotion toward the Guild [even if it's bad! ;3]
Kingdom Appreciation
Is your role play character from Yuki no Okoku? Eldrin? Carmillion? Abelid? Write about it! Give us a haiku about the kingdom in which your character grew up! Your poem must include the name of the kingdom of which you are speaking!
Freestyle!
Haikus to restrictive for you? Make a poem about whatever you want however you want! Links to old poems will not be accepted! Make a new one! Please be sure to remain within the Guild Rules and GaiaOnline Rules and Terms of Service!
