I dont know if this was made already, if it was, i'm terribly sorry, but whatever.
I was playing Suikoden 5 earlier today, and it got me thinking. The Sun Rune is a pretty powerful Rune, from what i've seen, i dont know mych about THe Dawn And Twilight runes, but yeah.
That got me thinking about the past main runes; Punishment, Beggining, SoulEater... and the elementals, they're all fairly powerful runes.
Now, if all the runes were put against each other, in a giant worldly runic battle or whatever, Which one would, well, reing victorious?
Leaving out the armies of each nation, mind you. If just the true rune bearers were put against each other in something like a battle royal, without weapons, asie from their runes...
Me and my sister figured that the rune of begining wouldn't stand much of a chance since it split in two, but the others... (aside from Luc's Wind Rune to, becuase alot of people think he's dead)
We think, the Soul Eater and the Rune of punishment themselves pose the biggest threat, considering everything, although, the fact that the punishment rune does harm its bearer....
but then again, that Sun rune, for thoes of you who've played a little of Suiko5, and have seen things.... You know...
Anyways, i want you're logical thinkings on this little matter, that just wont leave my brain alone (its really buggin me). Which rune is actually better? all things considered? *shrugs*

The Soul Eater would win hands down unless the Runes teamed up on it. I mean hello, Rune that governs life and death here!

the true rune of beginning would beat all, cause yeah its like the beginning and the bright shield and black sword counter parts are just totally kick

I'd have to say...that of all the True runes that we have actually seen in games AND if we keep the fact that we keep True halves from becoming whole true runes...
I think Souleater has a slight lead with the Punishment rune not far behind
Sure...the Sun rune may burn everyone to death but that's something the True Fire Rune could probably be made to do...though maybe at a slightly smaller scale in comparison to something the Sun rune could do
THEN AGAIN....The Souleater and the Punishment runes do need to depend on their owner's life energy for part of their power...

If on the other hand say we did allow True rune halves to become whole...I would say the True Gate Rune would beat everything......

ahha, ok wait the one that beats them all....the True Soverignty Rune. It grants immunity to all other runes, even true ones

None, actually. If they all came together at once and were all like: "Let's kill somma 'dis shyt," then I'm quite sure that they would all 'splode and the world would die. Thus, killing everything.

Thus, killing everything. yes! lmfao thats true! i really forgot about that. to much power in one place. hmm. well, ship them all to an alternet dimension or nothingness. like the beast rune did XD

If this one wasn't included, I'd say the Rune of Punishment for pure offensive purposes and if it was story/manga-based, the Rune of Life and Death. I mean, did you see what the True Wind was able to do in the manga? Even the True Fire rune pwned the holy hell out of its display from the game. They made them truly seem like gods over their specific property. Imagine Tir with complete control of life and death not shown in the games..... Instant death to any that pisses him off. Might revive them just to kill them again if he's really having one of thos bad days.

If both Gate runes were to come together then they would probably win becuase they can summon Beast. Or I guess we can throw Yuber in with all the runes. He would have fun. Sorry, that was random.
Would the runes still be on the people who own them?

Because in truth, I believe that all true runes are equal (yes, even the sovereign has equals). I suppose it depends on the user and how much power they're able to tap from the rune. I'm most certain we haven't seen a true rune wielded to its full capabilities (and truthfully, it is likely impossible. Damn runes and their "I have a mind too") Because I doubt that the sovereign rune has complete sovereign over all other runes. Just that Babarossa's will and ability was teh superior 3nodding
