Orcus disliked walking around the city powered up. Yet, it was the easiest way to let her know if her cousin was following her. As long as she stayed near a source of mirrors, she'd be able to keep herself alive.
Or that was what she told herself in order to actually sleep at night.
And when she felt the brush of a chaotic aura against her senses, the tiny dark mirror assumed she'd managed to do what she'd come out to do. Though, who knew. It would either be Alodie, or it would be someone who might know her.
With luck, it wouldn't be a walking death warrant.

Since the night Leucite had made her so angry she'd learned to successfully punch a tree, and started gaining some minor focus over her enhanced body again, not that she'd ever admit it, Titanite had spent every evening hunting someone to spar with her. Some nights were more successful than others. This entire week, it felt like, had been made of epic fail, however. Spring was coming, and the snow was melting, and the rabbits were hiding in their den from the last whispers of winter, and the pollen that was occasionally poofing into the air, infesting the nose and causing brief sneezes before the snow wiped it away again. Titanite was excited for the oncoming summer. She missed the heat and the warmth spilling through her bones, wrapping her in a sweltering blanket. It mattered little how long she had been in Destiny City, this winter thing was a load of crap. Egypt was so much more mild, even when they got chilly. Even in the deserts, when it would drop down to almost 0, it just felt different. More importantly, Summer might mean more people coming out to play with her. School would be out, and so parents and students alike would be more inclined to come play. People might be out and about on vacation, and need a Shahar to keep warm, or... maybe she would spend a week at home. She could find a way to afford a plane to Cairo, right? Right. The sudden ping of power against her senses made Titan pause in her reflections, head tugging up. Ooo, someone to play with, perhaps? And Chaos. Excellent. Happily, she skip-hopped in the direction of the other aura, jumping up and doen on top of teeny buildings, wastefully expelling energy in pursuit of her mysterious target. And then, at last, settled in front of one damn fine senshi, waggling her fingers. “Hello beautiful,” she said in introduction, “Want to play with me tonight?” Not her best line.

Standing warily, Orcus watched the officer that appeared so quickly in front of her. Stifling a sigh, because of course it was yet another person taller than her, she tilted her head, trying to decipher what this woman meant by play.
At least she didn't seem to be alarmingly aggressive.
"What, precisely, do you mean by play," she asked softly, doing her best to keep from antagonizing. She didn't particularly want to make friends with people who let monsters out to play, but she might be able to get information if she was careful. "I'm afraid I'm on something of a tight schedule, you see."
Smiling sweetly, she held up her hands in a sort of "what can you do" gesture and waited.

Oh! Titanite had not actually expected to maybe get a little interest, and she blinked her surprise at the other woman for a moment. The female seemed a bit hesitant, and honestly, Titanite couldn't blame her. Someone popping out saying they wanted to play a game was probably not the best way to hit on someone at a** o'clock in the evening. "I mean play as in have fun," she specified, waggling her eyebrows, "Not a game of Global Thermonuclear War or something. Something light and enjoyable like seven minutes in heaven." She was on a roll tonight. "What kind of a tight schedule?" Water-hued hair swayed as she shifted her weight, considering the pretty senshi with inquisitive eyes. Titan did so appreciate the ladies. And this one was a lovely example.

Closing her eyes briefly to try and invoke patience, Orcus wondered if she'd just stumbled on one of the very very few innocents of the Negaverse. Though the remark about seven minutes in heaven likely meant she wasn't that innocent. Good grief.
When her eyes opened again, her lips curved into a small, grim smile. "Sorry, honey, I don't think you'd enjoy my sort of fun. I tend to leave my toys broken."
Which, given the sort of cruel jokes and bullying she was prone to, was a bit of an understatement. Just so long as Leggy McGee here wasn't a closet masochist, maybe she'd be able to warn the other woman away with nothing more than words. Especially since she seemed far more curious and flirtatious than out for blood.
"The sort of tight schedule that has a high likelihood of getting myself or one of your lot killed."
Please take the hint, she thought. Please just walk away.

Titanite's brain turned off just about anything beyond the honey and the smile, however grim. "Sounds like you need better toys," she told the senshi cheerfully, brushing a strand of her own hair off her shoulder. "If a lady like you is leaving them broken. Either that or you need to learn to take better care of your playthings. Do not waste a gift. Perhaps I can give you some pointers on how to properly love and care for your toys." Well, not love. Shahar wasn't the kind of woman to tell anyone about love, or affection, or any of that emotional crap. She was a physical specimen, and all she needed to know about a heart was how to not get stabbed in it. Over the last 25 years, however, Titanite had not been stabbed in the heart; as far as that advice went, she was probably doing quite well. "Get someone killed?" Titanite made a startled little 'O' shape with her mouth, though there was no startlement in her eyes. It just seemed like what the Dark Mirror Senshi wanted. "Sounds like you do have an interesting evening planned out. Now you know I can't leave you alone. You're far too pretty to go walking into danger without backup.

Oh for ******** sake... Orcus cursed up a silent blue streak. Rather than warning the woman off, it had only made her more curious. Wonderful. Great. ******** my life.
"And maybe," she countered, allowing the slightest grate to enter her voice, "how I treat my toys really isn't any of your business. They're consenting adults, after all."
The perfectly O shaped mouth made Orcus nearly roll her eyes. As far as pretending to be startled, this lady had the act down pat. But no one outside of shitty rom coms or shittier sitcoms ever made faces like that.
"Your concern is appreciated, but I don't think so," she said coldly. There was really no help for it. With a sigh, she called up her magic and hoped there was enough humidity in the air to do her some good. "Drowning's Hint..."
Infinities Orcus is able to pull water from her surroundings (drier environments will make the attack weaker as there is less water to summon). As it comes together, the water forms a heavy mist that attaches to the target's face and lasts for approximately 10-15 seconds. The mist makes breathing difficult, as if the victim is in an especially humid environment. Sensations of pressure making it hard to draw a full breath are common as is some choking and coughing (think along the lines of swallowing a drink wrong). Visually, the mist ripples and reflects like to cast an almost watery appearance over the target.

"Rude," Titanite managed to get out, as the senshi gave her attack. And honestly. Rude. Titanite had been flirting along, minding her own business, and then the senshi had decided it was a grand idea to try and drown her. What felt like the magical equivalent of waterboarding was not anyone's idea of a good time. "Oh," she choked out, "You meant your own death." Her eyes were stinging as she wheezed, but there was value in being able to trust your body to do one thing, and that was stagger forward, eyes bright with fury. Who wanted to talk about- "I am so glad you consented to me kicking your teeth in." It came out more... "blubblubcoughwheezeblugchoke" But the point hopefully got across.

Oh. Good job, self. Orcus mentally berated herself for managing to add another agent to the Let's Kill Orcus fan club. Still, she'd warned the other woman to leave her alone. She'd even been remarkably polite. For her. Now she had to decide if she was going to run like a scared little rabbit or try to knock the agent down and then run.
"I told you I wasn't interested in games and that I was on a schedule," she grumbled aloud. "But noooo, you had to keep flirting and trying to be cute and s**t. Next time just take the ******** hint."
The effects of her magic wouldn't last much longer. With a sigh, Orcus decided that she'd be best suited by trying to take advantage of the other woman's choking fit. Darting closer, she dropped herself low and swung out with a sweeping kick. If she could knock Tits here down, she had a much higher rate of survival.

Her body's first reaction at the loss of air was to panic; it was an animal instinct. It was something that couldn't be trained out of you- your heart rate rose, your eyes went wide, your body sought that most precious resource. Every inhale was spluttering, and it triggered the influence to inhale deeper, faster. It induced fear, and terror. Titanite had spent years training herself to trust her body. A body could not fight magic. Fight, flight, choices- Shahar chose fury. She chose to fight. Next time just take the ******** hint. more like, next time, she'd bash a Dark Moon's face in without trying to be fun and friendly. Titan felt the woman coming closer, and let her body react to the blow; let years of practice shift her muscles without thinking in response to the attack. Not sparring, she reminded herself. Fight her.The contact was made, and Titan let herself fall, let her body do what it was trained to from years of sparring and scrapping. Fall. Roll. Up. Kick. Aim through and not for.

If the other woman had gone into fight mode, Orcus was, without a doubt, far more interested in flight. Her relief at knocking the other down was short lived as a she kicked out and caught Orcus in the hip, sending her off balance as well. Cursing, she forced herself to run. All she wanted was to find a mirror and get away.
Unfortunately, with her inner chicken in almost full control, she was having trouble thinking about where such a mirror could be.
"Why can't you people just leave me alone to start with," she heard herself wailing.

The senshi was scrambling away and Titan made herself willing to let the other woman go, grabbing a rock, or chunk of loose concrete, or stick, or she did not even know what she grabbed honestly, it could have been dog s**t, and throwing it after the other woman. "You do not ******** attack people for trying to talk to you," she shrieked after the senshi, "that is why no one likes you." She had no idea if anyone liked the senshi. Shahar couldn't imagine anyone did. For good measure, she jerked off one of her gloves and threw that too. Maybe she would get lucky and stab her with one of the spikes. "I was just trying to be conversational and fun, and next time I will punch your face in!" that would be fun for her, anyways... Her yelled threats were probably less impressive between her choking and her heavy accent. The fact they progressively devolved into shrieked Arabic probably didn't help. Shahar handled rejection fine. She handled magical assault altogether differently. Maybe she should chase her and- no.

The shrieks and threats that followed her gave Orcus that extra little push to get the hell away. And the sharp sting of something hard catching her shoulder was just that much more impetus.
Jesus ********' Christ on a cupcake, just let me get away from the crazy.
By the time she found an open 7-11 and barged inside, to kick in the door (boy, was the poor kid on duty going to have a hell of a time explaining that) of the bathroom, Orcus was sweat drenched and paler than normal. Fortunately, the bathroom had a mirror big enough for her to dive through.
When she emerged in the bathroom of her hotel room, Orcus paused only long enough to power down before collapsing on the tiled floor in utter exhaustion.

As the DMC senshi vanished from view, the magic wore off, and Titanite sucked in lungfuls of air greedily. ******** senshi. Order senshi were rarely that rude. Only Chaos senshi. It must have something to do with the corruption that took away their manners- and being on the side of Chaos herself, wasn't that a thought? What might she be if she hadn't run afoul of her General that night and had Chaos poured into her heart and soul? As she staggered home, still fighting the urge to wheeze and cough, she had to wonder.
