Spring break was a time for students to relax, enjoy themselves, get drunk, and make bad decisions that would haunt them for the rest of their lives. For Uvarovite that meant a perfect time to prey on them. He had long wished for a way to do something about his various students and their questionable choices and now with his new abilities he could. Draining them of their energy meant there were fewer of them around at parties to do stupid things. So while it was a small slice of revenge it was also technically helping. It just made it worth while since he could ruin their fun as well.

A handsome older man offering to buy drinks and pay people compliments had already netted him four unsuspecting volunteers and the fifth was well on their way. It would have been better if he could get their star seeds out as well but he didn’t want to kill any of them. The area was far too public for that.

They just had a lesson in responsibility to learn and some decision making skills to develop and he was more than happy to help them with that.

The young man he was standing beside finally started to slump down onto the table and he shifted the half empty cup of beer out of the way so it wouldn’t get knocked over. Anyone seeing the young man later would assume he’d just had one too many drinks. Smirk on his lips he sent the bundle of energy off to the Negaverse before tilting the young man’s head slightly to the side.

“It I were twenty years younger you might have actually had a chance.” He wasn’t bad looking but co-ed’s were more trouble than they were worth most days.

As he walked away he chuckled softly as his mind reminded him of his relationship, such as it was, with Katrina. She needed to go a bit more growing up herself even if she was fun to play around with for the moment. There wasn’t, and couldn’t, be anything between them until she’d finished sorting herself out.

He found a corner to power down in and headed back into the crowd to find another victim. The lake outside of town would be crawling with co-eds for at least another week but he was determined to make the most of it while he could. No sense in letting a day he could be out collecting go to waste.

His next victim was far too easy to find. A young brunette who was quick enough to tell him how much she liked older men. She was at least easy on the eyes and he took her over to one of the many pop-up bars to get her a drink. All of the students were far too happy to let someone else pay for their buzz.

He let her drink most of the beer he’d bought, chatting idly and doing a remarkable job of pretending he was interested in anything she was saying. When she was down to the last few drops in the cup she suggested they go somewhere else, somewhere quieter. She wanted to show him how good she could be he wanted to think about keeping her.

Offering her an arm they headed away from the crowd and she quickly drug him away from the party toward where the party-goers had set up tents and rv’s. She let him know she and her friends had set up some nice tents and he laughed softly as she stopped at one and worked on getting the ‘door’ open. Once she had it free she stepped inside and motioned for him to follow her.

He was glad the tent was tall enough to stand in as he followed her and let the ‘door’ fall closed behind him. He watched her pull her swing cover-up over her head with a smirk.

“Quite unnecessary for what I have in mind my dear.” He chuckled softly as he let the chaos consude him shifting easily from Kian to Uvarovite. It was easy to set a hand on her shoulder, stopping her movements.

“Well you should have just said you wanted my mouth.” She giggled and leaned back toward him.

Her body slumped slightly as he started the energy drain process and she fell into a slight trance. It was always easier when they didn’t fight back. He let her sink to her knees so he didn’t have to hold her up and ignored a passing thought that at one point in his life she’d have been doing something far different on her knees.

Once he had enough energy that she passed out he let her slide onto a sleeping back and powered back down.

Pushing a hand through his hair he headed out of the tent and stopped just short of running into another young lady. She squeaked in surprised and stepped back. “Um, I was looking for Katie…”

He smirked slightly and looked over his shoulder toward the tent. “You might want to let her rest a bit. I am afraid i wore her out more than she expected.”

“Oh, well that sounds like her. You’re not the first guy she’s brught back here. Not even the first today.” The second woman shook her head. “I’ll deal with her. No worries.”

He thanked the young woman before heading away from the tents. That had been a little too close and was a good sign that it was time to give up for the day. It had been productive enough at least and he didn’t want to ruin something good while he had it. He ignored a few comments and offers he received on his way back toward his car wondering if they’d remember him the next time he came out ot the lake. If he had time he would try again the next day but any other larger scale attempts would have to wait until the next weekend or when he had a free evening.
