(Back dating this to a week after Terry wound up in the hospital.)

Quote:
Apparently Matt had been in touch, constantly, with his elder cousin Hyeon so he had no need to go back to his cousins in order to get his things from there. There was no avoiding this, Matt had helped his cousin bring his things back to the Hyatt family home before it was time to pick Terry up. He’d spent the whole car ride back close to Terry, keeping the other tucked into his side, while hoping the car ride back home would last longer - forever maybe?

Knowing that Terry’s parents knew about their powered lived he did not want to face the others parents, as that was on top of the fight they’d had...and the subsequent break up and what that had all caused. He’d learned his lesson, knew he’d been in the wrong, but he also knew those things would not get him out of whatever was coming his way. Terry was likely to face some words as well, though also less harsh as he was injured, for hiding being a knight and his mother's worry over it all.

Lost in his worry over it all Seung was surprised by how quickly they made it from the hospital to the Hyatt family home...and he was slowly, as if hoping to delay the inevitable, climbed out of the car and helped Terry out. Gingerly, and slowly, he worked to help the other out and to the front door. Once inside he made for the living room couch, rather than there room, as he was sure a discussion was due...and he knew it couldn't be stalled - there was was no avoiding it.

Greeting Yeong, petting him and leaning down to nuzzle him, he let the dog lay at his feet while he kept an arm about Terry. Gently moving the others head to rest on his shoulder, he took comfort in being so close to the other after being apart for over two weeks.

Quote:
Terry had kept quiet the entire ride home, Seung wasn’t the only one worried about the ‘discussion’ in the future after all. Instead he had stayed cuddled up to his boyfriend and forced himself to stay relaxed so as to not aggravate his shoulders in anyway. When they pulled up to the house he let out a small sigh in resignation and let Seung help him out of the car and inside the house, though he was sure to give him a kiss on the cheek in thanks. Once the were settled on the couch, thankfully curled up together, Ace joined them to stretch out across their laps purring up a storm. He started to pet the munchkin as he waited for it to start.

Quote:
Matt on the other hand wasn’t as worried about the upcoming confrontation, having already gotten more than his fair share of a dressing down and worried parents. He on the other hand hadn’t been in any battles at all so he had made it off pretty easily. It was pretty obvious that the other two wouldn’t be so lucky though as he parked then followed them inside. He hesitated for a moment at the entryway to look at everyone then wondered if he could just escape to his room where he could ignore any yelling that might happen. He wasn’t needed after all right? That plan was dashed when his Mother gave him The Look, causing him to go take a seat.

Quote:
Julie and Nathan stood in front of the boys, Nathan with his arms crossed and Juile with her hands on her hips. “Alright, since Matthew was so gracious as to tell us all he knew after you went and got yourself beaten up to the point where you could have died, you have once chance to explain yourself.” Julie said looking pointedly at Terry then at Seung. “While he might have told us all he knew, I doubt he told us all you both knew. So spill it.”

Quote:
He’d seen Matt come into the room and sit down, taking his place on the single chair, but he was more focused on the parents as they took up position between them and the tv...this didn’t look good. Shifting around he pulled Terry into his lap and held the other to himself. Taking comfort while also trying to lend some, this was not going to be easy for either of them.

Listening to Julie, who did most of the talking, Seung took one look at his partner and leaned down to nuzzle him once before talking. He didn’t know what Matt had said, hadn’t a clue, but he could only guess they had a basic outline - right?

“All three of us are knights...not in rank but title.” He didn’t think he needed, or should, give out their ranks as it wasn’t the most important thing here. “Part of what city says are terrorists but we aren’t...other side is - the Negaverse. Chaos but a bad chaos...an unnatural chaos that is part of the normal chaos that is needed...it’s sentient.” Terry had known he’d seen Caedus on his own...would he figure out that this was knowledge gained from the other? This wasn’t something he’d told the other, though perhaps he should have.

“Knights - senshi...either reborn or descended from last night a thousand years ago who died. Senshi planets, stars….moons...asteroids.” Heavenly bodies. “Knights are wonders...places on senshi’s homes...Venice on Ganymede...Erebus on Saturn.” Giving the other in his arms a gentle squeeze. “Siwa of Uranus...my cousin Hyeon...Gyeongju of Polaris. An old war restarted….with us now…” He spoke trailing off slowly...unsure what else to say. The news showed enough of what happened...talked about it. He was just giving the other information. Leaning his face into the area between shoulder and neck on Terry, inhaling the others scent and just enjoying the others presence.

Moving to shift himself, and Terry, Seung moved so he was leaning in the corner of the couch with his legs spread. Terry he had moved, somewhat like a doll, right between his legs and gently brought the other to lay against his chest as he held him about the waist gently.

Quote:
He kept quite as Seung started up the explanations, planning on joining in once the other had finished the first batch of info so he would have an idea of what to cover and wouldn’t end up speaking over his boyfriend. Terry did end up blinking in surprise when Seung clarified how there was evil chaos and normal needed chaos, making a mental note to talk to him about it later. The concept of it made sense, after all Knights were meant to keep balance and you can’t have only order in the world.

When Seung trailed off then moved them around a bit, Terry pressed a kiss to his cheek. “To clarify however, Senshi are always reborn from their past selves while Knights can be either.” He said to start things off on his end. “I’m not sure how long exactly the war has been fought in the present time but it started a thousand years ago. It used to be that there were life on the other heavenly bodies, natural life at that, until evil rose up and stuck which ended up having a chain reaction that lead to loss of sustained life everywhere but Earth.”

Quote:
The parents were silent as they listened to what the two had to say, some questions answered, some blanks filled in, some of both not even getting touched just yet. “Which are you all? Descended from past Knights or reborn?” Nathan asked when Terry fell silent. “Why is it that you all got pulled into this war in the first place? Why couldn’t you have normal lives that only had the normal amount of danger?” Julie chimed in.

Quote:
“I am a descendant, which technically means that one of you and Terry are as well by family line.” Matt spoke up. He would have told his parents that earlier but the topic hadn’t actually been brought up in the conversation. Not when he was busy trying to explain just why his little brother had been beaten up and how until now Terry had been able to hide any previous injuries. It had not been a fun conversation to have at all but at least the two weren’t bombarding Terry and Seung with a ton of questions one right after another.

Quote:
“Descended for me. Some life remains...Caedus world is synthetic...created and he thinks still there with life…is sure of it.” He added then as he leaned his head down on Terry’s shoulder, being mindful of his injuries. “Caedus said old fight was Beryl who was corrupted by chaos, the bad chaos, because she was greedy…” For what he didn’t know but it had cost her and everyone else. That much he knew.

“Older cousin of mine is Polaris knight...don’t know which, is descended or not,...but means two knights in family also…Ganymede and Polaris.” Seung spoke up gently, turning his head to press a kiss to Terry’s cheek.

“Pulled in without knowing...attacked by youma at temple and reached for an item...powered up. Later on learned what was happening...can’t do nothing and leave for others - if we all did then who would fight? Can't’ let them just win it all..take over.” Shrugging his shoulders. It was a duty of some sort...and a need. Staring down at Terry, waiting to see what he’d say.

Quote:
“I’m actually reborn. It’s rather, interesting to end up getting flashes of memory of your past life. Though it’s still a bit weird to know that my soul used to live over a thousand years ago as a girl.” Terry added in his piece then looked at Seung. “He is sure of it yes but at the same time we can’t confirm that is true because he hasn’t found a way to either contact someone there or return to his planet. I would like to believe him but at the same time I would hate for him to be disappointed.” When he had talked to him before he had liked the ancient alien and would love for him to be right about there still being life on his planet but Caedus had been locked away for a long time so anything could have happened.

“I was actually attacked by one of the Negaverse Lieutenant’s and powered up to fight him off, though I didn’t know that is what was going to happen.” Aaru had powered up at the same time as well. “I didn’t learn more until some time later but when I did learn just what was going on, well like Seung said I couldn’t just leave people to get hurt. I couldn’t leave youma and the like to wander around where they could harm my family and friends without doing something about it.” He finished and looked at Seung to give a smile.

Quote:
Nathan and Julie both looked at Terry in surprise when he said he apparently used to be a woman, let alone had true proof that the soul reincarnates, something they could have continued to question if all three had been descendants. “You only get flashes? Why do you even get those, does that mean you can eventually remember everything?” Nathan asked with a thoughtful look. “Also this fight has apparently been going on for years, clearly something isn’t working. It doesn’t seem like either side wants to call a truce but how is it that neither side has won in a thousand years time?” Julie asked, shaking her head as she tried to understand how a war could last so long without some conclusion.

Quote:
As both Terry and himself had agreed not to actually discuss what went on when they first met the Siwa Oasis of the past, he didn’t bring up actually going to his Wonder just yet to get any questions the parents had going. And since he had already explained that he had first transformed in no danger and was instead just talking with Terry when his weapon appeared, Matt just listened to what the other two had to say.

Quote:
Having not heard how the other first powered up he was a bit surprised, though not overly so. He did tighten his hold on the other, just a bit, as he listened to Terry recount his short story.

"Didn't learn more till meeting Camelot and Terry." Deciding to use that name for the other rather than calling him Erebus, just to make things easier on their parents. He didn't want to give away who Camelot was, not that he even really knew. He knew he worked at the library in the city, the big one.

"No flashed for me...ghost of ancestor to talk to instead. Can't tell us everything...can't read anything from then - another language. I think it's same with memories...not everything and never how to read or write old language." So they couldn't find information out from the past, any clues or anything helpful, it left them all floundering a bit and figuring things out as they all went along...and helping new people out. He'd had his fair share of help from those more experienced, things they had learned over time and with experience. He was sure he'd be teaching others in time as well, and Terry had already helped him. He hadn't helped too much with his elder cousin - yet. What little he knew he knew he'd be telling him; he'd have to.

"No fighting the last thousand years...a long pause. No the fight is again. Always wondered, since involved, why no police or national guard for terrorist problems in this city. Maybe the other side has a hold on that...keeps anything from being sent here?" He offered up, as chilling as it was...it was an honest thought. It was a possible answer to Julie's question.

"Caedus wondered, when I asked, if Metallia and chaos do not finish us off because they cannot - because of weakness in Metallia...something hidden, maybe from her own even. Because just this city stands....Negaverse has won everywhere else. Us against them and not only those here but those elsewhere." He said, his words trailing off at the implications of just how doomed they could be. This wasn't a bright outlook but it was the truth as far as he'd been informed.

"Maybe we are safe for now at stand still. If they call in more...not so much. But maybe they won't call in more? Would maybe look bad for those here?" He offered up, trying to inject some hope into this talk.

It was obvious that Seung had done some talking with Caedus, trying to find answers, but while he had found things out...they weren’t all good...hopeful though - maybe. “Caedus says energy needed to get home for him…” Which answered why the energy crystal he’d had, the one Terry had found in his things...what had started their fight.

Quote:
“So if the Negaverse has taken over everywhere else, does this mean you aren’t safe leaving the town?” Nathan asked with a worried frown, thinking back on the times Terry and Seung had left the country. “And with how many times you have fought, does this mean you hid injuries from us and the only reason we found out that Terry was hurt at all was because eh had to be taken to the hospital?” Julie tacked on with narrowed eyes.

Quote:
Terry paused for a moment then tilted his head towards Seung a bit before he answered. “So long as we don’t power up outside of the city we are alright. They would just think we are normal civilians if they passed by us.” He said but hesitated on answering his Mother’s question, knowing full well he would end up in more trouble thanks to it.

Quote:
Matt raised his hand a bit to catch his parents attention then gave a shrug. “I haven’t been hiding any injuries because I haven’t fought anyone yet.” He said, which was true. At this point he hadn’t actually fought anyone, be they Negaverse Agent, Youma, or Dark Mirror. He hadn’t even really spared beyond a tiny bit where Terry had shone him some defensive moves he could pull in a pinch.

Quote:
“What Terry said...they look normal to us too...when not in uniform.” He answered seriously. “Means very hard to win war though since won everywhere else...lot against us.” But they hadn’t called in those from outside, when they very easily could. It was a good thing though...it gave them a chance to try and fight and maybe win here. What then though? What if they won here? Do they go elsewhere and try and take things back?

Best not to think of that now, best to focus on the discussion at hand. And Terry and Matt’s mother didn’t look, or sound, pleased as she asked them about injuries. “Have hidden a few...not many for me...some though.” He was honest in this. “More from parents when living home than here.” But he still had hidden injuries from Terry and Matt’s parents. Injuries that Terry normally knew about, found in bed when going to sleep or at other times...or saw inflicted upon him.

Quote:
“That, doesn’t make any tactical sense.” Nathan said with a frown as he thought over Seung’s words. “If they control everywhere else that means they have the manpower to come in and overwhelm but they don’t?” It was a strange thought, one he couldn’t quite wrap his head around. While he was thinking of that however, Julie was giving Terry the Mom look for his lack of words on injuries. “What about diet? Does those need changed since you are running around as super hero’s?”

Quote:
Terry tried his best to hold out against the Mom look but caved in the end. “Yes I have hidden injuries before, though usually it’s just bruises and small cuts. Nothing like how I ended up in the hospital.” He did not tell her about how banged up he was after the invasion and he rather hoped that Seung wouldn’t say anything on it either.

Quote:
“I can help on the diet question.” Matt chimed in again. “It’s basically like if you went from a lazy lifestyle to a very active one, you need more calorie intake and liquids.” He figured his Mother would realize from those words just where a good chunk of the food had been going to and why she had probably had to increase on buying groceries.

Quote:
“No, doesn’t make sense. Asked about that...because no sense to it. Maybe no one else comes because of pride...to be failing against so few - looks bad. Maybe leader - Metallia has some problem. Maybe something else...but no backup comes to them...or us. Elsewhere if powered up - would be found and killed or forced to their side.” He didn’t need to ask about that, as he was sure there were only those two options for them if ever caught powered up elsewhere.

“Here is safe...just don’t power up at home or near. They would sense us - like we sense them.” While Terry worried that he might mention the others worse injuries, like the ones from the Rift, he didn’t as he was too worried over Terry’s mother commenting on how he himself didn’t eat enough...not for what energy he burned. She was smart enough anyway to figure when he said usually he meant there were times it was worse, and he hid it.

“Was not smart to fight a General. They have weapons...and teleport.” Seung stated this while giving the other a look. He understood Terry hadn’t cared...and was doing the right thing. But he should have called for help...not just gone after a General.

“Would say more like from normal teenager...to running every day and weight lifting….” Either way...it was a big change and meant more energy was needed. His diet was something he’d still not really fixed, though he knew Terry slipped him extra food...and he ate it. He didn’t take more on his own. He still worried, somehow, about his own shape and keeping to a certain weight.

Quote:
Terry looked away from Seung with a bit of a blush staining his cheeks then he cleared his throat. “It wasn’t my smartest moment no.” Between being emotionally distressed over the fight and then not taking care of himself he was surprised he had even held out like he had but he wasn’t about to say that. He did however jump on the topic change. “Really I would say it depends on what your lifestyle was before you powered up, if you were already active then it isn’t as big of a difference then if you were a couch potato beforehand. Of course that is assuming that you were already eating the necessary amount before that.” This time it was Terry giving Seung the pointed look.

Quote:
Nathan gave a thoughtful look when Seung mentioned pride might be a factor in why reinforcement hadn’t been called in then gave a nod. “No more hiding injures, any of you. If I found out you were injured and hid that fact I will tan your hide so fast your head will spin I don’t care how old you are.” Julie said with her hands on her hips. “And I will be talking to you about making sure you all are eating properly.” She hadn’t missed the look her son gave Seung, not one bit. “I have one last question before we could probably call this meeting to an end.” Nathan spoke up after her. “Did any of your second life have anything to do with the fight between you both?”

Quote:
Matt looked between the four then crossed his legs and kept quiet. He already knew the answer to his Father’s question, at least mostly as he could be missing some of the info such as from Seung’s side of the story. But it wasn’t his story to tell so he wasn’t going to speak up now.

Quote:
He didn’t miss the look from Terry either, he knew it was coming, it was something they’d discussed before and he knew it was an issue still though perhaps less so? It was still a thing though, and Juile’s words had him staring at her, turning his attention away from Terry. Well, this wasn’t going to be good for him. She would start adding more food to his plate as well...or who knows what else, she wasn’t as subtle or diplomatic as her son….

At the last question he ducked his head but nodded anyway. “Half of it...yes.” Looking to Terry, wondering what the other had said about their fight, if anything, and unsure what to say. A glance then to Matt as well, wondering if he knew and what he’d said and what he knew as well. He hadn’t a clue what was out there in the open and what wasn’t…

“Difference in culture...and being knights...was about the fight...combined...one into the other and separate.”

At Seung’s look, Matt just gave a shrug and shook his head. He hadn’t told them anything about what he knew about the fight between them since he figured it was between Terry and Seung. That and he figured some of it would come out somehow in the end.

Quote:
“It was a mix of things like Seung said. We still have some things we need to work on but we started the needed conversations.” Terry added after Seung finished talking. “A good bit of it boiled down to lack of communication and that’s something we will be taking care of.” He didn’t want his parents to worry and he also didn’t want them to jump in trying to help thim fix things right away when they needed to at least attempt to do it on their own first.

Quote:
Both Julie and Nathan looked the two over for a moment in silence before Nathan gave a nod. “Alright then. I’m sure we will have more questions later but for now you all are off the hook.” As soon as he was finished speaking Julie jumped in. “Now that this is over, you both will stay there on the couch while I go get some snacks for you. Matt come help.” She said then bustled out of the room on a mission.

Quote:
Matt gave his mother a bewildered look then just shrugged and followed her into the kitchen. He knew better than to question her when she had something in mind.

Quote:
Glad that it was over, no details sought, he nodded his head to the others mother. Snuggling at the others neck gently. “Is good we aren’t in trouble.” Though part of it was likely due to the other being so injured and still recovering. He really wasn’t sure if he should be glad for it or not, since it meant the other was so hurt.

“Let’s wait then...for snack.” He said nodding his head lightly. Watching Matt follow Julie out of the room and towards the kitchen. “Glad don’t know whole fight...and still need to talk more...work more out - slowly.” Seung spoke gently. They would work on things...slowly. They had time to work on their relationship.

“Going to feed us a lot I think.” he whispered. Though for now...he would be ok with it. He was back where he belonged and that was good. The rest they’d make good.
